the previous reviews were correct. this thing doesnt even deserve 1 star. the touch screen is unresponsive the remote looks like they just threw buttons on it without any thought. the sound quality is really, truly horrible. the screen is so bright at night that it makes using the dome light in the car obsolete and guess what.. there's no way to dim the screen. at times the unit gets confused and just turns off after a 1 minute delay.
the dvd playback is about the only decent thing about it but the sound is still crappy and can someone tell me what's up with the bright blue screen that comes on when using the auxillary function? no data no text just a blank, bright blue screen.
overall this is the worst radio/dvd system i've ever come across, i had it in the car for about 3 days before i coudnt take it anymore and actually replaced it with the factory unit. BE WARNED THIS IS A TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY.

worst unit u might buy ever.
i thought its a good unit, but sadly it isnt. this thing is so damn stupid that it could blind you during driving at night , and u cannot dim it to be comfortable , and the screen that shows when u r playing mp3 is so bright blue which is more annoying during night.
the sound quality is crap , my oem unit was much better than this.
touch screen responds very slowly and you have to click it sevral times to respond .
when playing your ipod you get a BLANK blue screen.!! which again blinds you while driving at night.
the radio signal is not good , my impreza antenna is very good so im sure its a head unit problem. and when in radio mode you get a message that keeps scrolling at the bottom of the screen which says " ADVANCE AUDIO ENTERTANMET SYSTEM " it keeps going for ever.
you have many functions that has to be done using the remote control and not available on the screen
and after you contact the customer service sevral times they finally answer after 2-3 days
