Almosts fits Sharp 65 inch LCD

This mount (VMPL3B) was identified by Sanus as the one to fit a Sharp LC65D64U TV. (1)While the kit came with several different sizes of bolts to fit various models, it did not provide the metric size needed for this specific Sharp TV. The four bolts needed were available (M10 - 30mm) at Home Depot, $.80 each (plus washers needed). (2)The slots in the mounting brackets were not wide enough to allow the proper bolts to pass through. I was able to file the slots wider (not difficult)to allow the bolts to pass. After that mount was easy to install with all needed hardware provided and works great. Even with this blip the mount is well worth buying due to the more than $400.00 saving over the mount offered by Sharp.

Sanus VMPL3B Low Profile Wall Mount

I haven't installed it yet, but am impressed so far.. It is very well made and designed for heavy plasma screens. Complete ,well organized hardware package and clear instructions.
In my opinion,expensive but worth it.

Great product

This is a very sturdy and well built wall mount for a large TV. It was easy to install using the supplied documentation and came with a lot of extra mounting hardware to fit a variety of televisions. Would highly recommend this product.

TV Wall Mount

I am completely happy with this wall mount. As long as you follow the directions to put up the wall mount you will be fine. It is a great product and I have no complaints.

quality mount

I used this to mount my Panasonic 58" plasma which weighs approx 150lbs and it holds it up with no problems. Are parts of the unit is high quality. Highly recommended if you are in the market for this type of flush (with some tilt) mount.

Very Good Quality

This is very strong mount especially for 60" and above Plasma or LCD TV. I mount 63" Plasma with this mount. My TV weight is 150lb. It comes with both options like tilt mount and low profile flat mount. I use low profile and there is only 1.5" distance between TV and wall. This is great product and it's worth every penny. I strongly suggest this mount to secure your big TV on the wall without any worry.

One Size Fits All!

A top-notch wall mount! Built like a tank and TOTALLY flexible. It is HEAVY...weighs as much as many mid-sized products themselves! It should fit just about any known mid-size to over-size television or monitor, and it's adaptable to just about any stud spacing (AND off-set) known to man. Lets you "cantilever" the mount if stud locations just aren't in the center.
The instructions were clear & concise, covering just about any contingency. They succinctly broke out the various pathways needed for the many mounting configurations available with this product.
All hardware was independently packaged and labeled in a rather unique "bandolier pack", such that all hardware was "separately together in ONE package". This made it easy to find the right hardware AND to keep it all in one place.
About my only negative or comment would be that the flat washers included for mounting the bracket arms to the monitor were flimsy and the holes were oversized. These washers tended to bend quite easily...not  more

Nice product

Works well with panny plasma with subwoofer. Because of "bulge" of TV the tilt brackets were used but no downward tilt was possible. Well made brackets with very easy to use hardware.

Sanus Wallmount

I purchased this wall mount to accomodate my new Pioneer 60" plasma which weighs approximately 125 lbs.

It was very easy to assemble and the hardware mounted to the back of the TV perfectly.

I was concerned about the product's width size because the description was not specific in that regard. However that concern was put to rest following completed assembly. I don't know how wide it can expand to but I was able to utilize 3 wall studs spaced the standard 16" apart. There is no way that TV is coming off that wall unless I personally remove it.

Once mounted on the wall, you and your partner simply lift the tv and slide the hooks you attached to the back of it into the wall bracket. Thats all there is to it! The mount itself allows you to tilt the tv up to 11 degrees to accomodate your seating angle plus you have the ability to slide the tv left or right for perfect centering.


For ease of assembly, mounting and solid steel durability, this is the wall mount you must buy!

Fantastic Piece of Engineering

I purchased the VMPL3 to mount a 47" LCD HDTV in our bedroom. I needed a precision mount because of the limited space available. I had previously mounted a 52" LCD HDTV in our living room, using a Sanus VMAA26 full motion mount. That installation sold me on Sanus Systems forever. Their engineering and quality control are above reproach. The instructions are simple and technically and grammatically correct (what a novel idea!). The VMPL3 comes in silver or black and offers options galore, depending on whether you want a flat mount, tilting mount or have a flat back or curved back TV. Parts are packaged for virtually any type of wall, including concrete block. Concrete anchors, lag bolts, spacers, washers, and nuts are all provided in a neatly compartmented package. Might be a great mount, but not for 65" Panasonic

Despite being paired with the TV I purchased through Amazon's recommendation engine, this mount is not wide enough to accommodate Panasonic TVs. It appears to be well made and study enough, but it doesn't expand beyond 40" so if the spacing on the back of your TV for the mounts is wider than 40", look elsewhere.

I believe this is one of Sanus' high end units...the VMPL3B Low Profile Wall Mount. (And Sanus is a top end manufacturer of wall mounts!)

CONS:
Shipped in original carton only....the weight of the unit could damage itself shipped this way....but it didn't in my case.

Great product

Easy to install, You have a choice of either a low-profile or using the tilt. However, we are using it in a room with a lot of windows and the tilt feature is a must. Even using the tilt feature, it doesn't stick out from the wall very much. Used to mount a Sony 46" XBR4 without a hitch. Priced lower on overstock than anywhere else and nothing was missing from the box.

The mount was fairly simple to install as long as studs are found. I have a 60" Pioneer (125 lbs.) and this mount handles it with no problem. Well constructed product and good price from Overstock.

Sanus is a winner

This has to be one of the best products I've ever mail-ordered. The wall mount is very sturdy. The fit and finish is superb. The instructions are complete and clear. Most importantly, the hardware is heat-sealed and labeled by part number and name, and all possible variations are included! Highly recommended!!

Sanus VMPL3B

A Great product at a Great price! I could not be happier with both the product and Overstock.com..Although my Panasonic plasma is only 42", I ran into the problem of spanning the wall studs. At the location to hang the unit, the wall stud was exaclty center for my location and the wall mount I bought at another source would not fit. The Sanus, being adjustable, allowed me to use the center stud and also the studs to the left and right, spanning 32".Obviously, attaching to three studs is better than two. I worked perfectly, with great instructions and a complete set of labelled hardware. Again, my thanks..

Sanus VMPL3B

Couldn't be happier with the product or Overstock.com. The product was delivered (in MFG packaging) quickly and the price was the best I could find. The product was used to hang a Samsung 58" Plasma on a brick wall. The VMPL3B came with all the neccessary hardware and easy to understand instructions. (The hardware was all seperated and numbered which made the installation that much easier.)

Hang your plasma

I looked at a lot of different models for hanging a Panasonic 58" 750U plasma. It weighs around 150 pounds. I found that this Sanus unit was more than adequate for the job as it is rated for a much higher weight. The weight rating and the fact that it also expands so that you can span 3 studs on your wall is what sold me. You also can get your TV at just the right spot on the wall laterally by being able to position the TV left or right depending on how long you expand out the mount. High quality construction and finish.
Packaging was excellent and the various hardware was organized in groupings. It was easy to assemble and to hang the TV.
This model also allows for a low profile mount using different brackets. The back of my TV sticks out at the bottom and I could not use this feature. I used the adjustable tilt mounting brackets instead. It still sits relatively close to the wall.

Great-Easy to install-do not need a professional to do

My hubby and I installed this by ourselves in less than an hour, this saved us over $500. for a professional to do it. I am so glad we did not waste our money to have a pro do this for us!!

best mount for a large screen tv

I recently purchased the brand new panasonic th-58pz700u, this is a large tv that weighs 140lbs, so after doing much research I found this sanus mount to be the best one for this large tv, the hardware that comes with the mount is excellent, you do not have to run to the hardware store for extra nuts/washers bolts etc... everything you could possibly need comes with the mount. the best part about this unit is that you can install onto 3 studs instead of the more conventional 2 stud installation, this makes it much more secure. I was very lucky in that my house was built back in 1955 and back then they used studs spaced at 12 inches apart instead of the current 16 inch apart requirement, this enabled me to actually use 4 studs for the install, needless to say this tv will never fall off the wall. basically when your going to install this mount read all the instructions thoroughly first and then use masking tape to "draw" on the wall exactly where you want the tv, then figure out where the  more

Works with the Philips 42PF7320A

I bought this item to mount my Philips 42PF7320A 42" Plasma which requires a wider mount than standard universal mount. It went up really easy and I was able to put my plasma on it no problem. The price here is $110 cheaper than Best Buy. This was a great deal for this item.
