Nintendo Wii System (with Wii Sports)
My son and I love the Wii. Really love that its game cube compatible and that we can watch netflix on it. It was kind of tricky to get hooked up to the internet, but we figured it out.

We have had our wii for about 2 years, My kids love it. My husband and I don't play it too often. I prefer the ps3. Its got alot of games geared towards kids (more than ps3 and way more than xbox360) Mario, Kirby, Wario, need I say more? you can only get them here. My kids 6, 8 and 11 will play this thing hours on end. we own 61 games for it but the games that are always played are the Mario games, and lately their new favorite kirby's epic yarn. If your considering a gaming system and that will be used primarily for kids or as a family of 4 together then this is the system you will want. you'll want to get a controller charging station with rechargable batteries or you'll wish you had stock in the battery company.

I've had the wii for about a year and I still love it! For the price ($150 last year just before Christmas) it's a pretty great gaming system. I like that it does so much. I've always loved nintendo and in fact haven't owned any other system, so I can't compare it to xbox or ps3 or anything. It's great to be able to download games from online, and I can play my old gamecube games on it too. It's also nice to watch netflix vids on the wii. I will say that I'm not a big fan of the games where you just sit there and shake the remote or something, I prefer the games where you really move. I think the wii is great for what it is and worth the price. For instance the Wii Sports game rocks! I love the games and you really get into it, so much so that after playing for hours yesterday my arms are killing me. I'm a big fan of boxing, which is really fun to play. I have heard about xbox's new game with Kinect where, basically like the wii but without remotes, and it sounds fun. I'm hoping that eventually they develop something like that for the wii, but buying an xbox and kinect for $400 is way too much. Anyway, if you're a nintendo fan you'll probably like the wii, if you aren't, you may like it you may not. It's definitely great for families and such. My grandma even plays wii bowling at her senior center.

The wii is a fun family system for having fun. I'm the profiler's son so I am a hard core gamer the wii isn't much for me. The wii has lots of great party games but they aren't realistic enough. I have a an easy time playing the wii so it gets boring. I would choose the wii for young families that has not had a lot of time together. Now like I s Wii Play with Wii Remoteaid I am a hardcore gamer. I would pick a Xbox 360, or a PS3. The wii has a lot of fun games that come out from time to timebut the wii isn't good enough to reach hardcore gaming. The wii is a fun choice, but if your family is a hardcore gamer family I would choose an Xbox 360, or a PS3.

Well built and lots of fun. My son decided to trade it in for an X-box 360 and I actually miss playing the arcade games on it. I'm thinking of buying another one for myself :)

So, I recently bought a Nintendo Wii because I was looking for a console to have fun with, and it definitely did it!! I totally recommend this console for children, teenagers and adults as well. You can bring good memories back by downloading old school games from the Virtual Console Channel, you can also play online and enjoy the good titles that have come out for it. The motion sensation is good enough and its price is totally good. I really like its design.... I've been a Nintendo fan since long ago and I can totally say that Nintendo's done again!!!

It's just OK for me, but the wife and kids love it. Lots of fun, exercise and entertainment. It's hooked up to the big screen and WiFi so they also watch movies and shows with NetFlix on it.

This wii console brought me much fun. But the technology is kind of outdated. Recent release of Xbox kinetic and PS3 maybe a better investment.

The WII is a great system to play party type games on. Most games that are for the WII are geared towards kids/teens, while xbox/ps3 dominates in the shooter market. I don't think the WII will ever have a strong shooter following like 'Call of Duty: modern warfare'. There is a sizable amount of workout games that are pretty fun for the WII. If you have kids, your kids will love you that much more for buying them a WII.

Nintendo Wii System (with Wii Sports)
Pros: Almost every feature is great.
Cons: Only 480p graphics available, but they look good.
I really like my Wii. It includes wi-fi and the motion controller and nun-chuk at a really good price. It comes with Wii Sports motion games included free and is a good workout. It is very small and compact; about a quarter the size of my Xbox 360. It does not look very strongly built but works great. I wish it had higher graphics resolution, but for the price you can't beat it.

The Wii is great on its own. The games are fun, and it was easy to set up and start using. However, I feel a bit cheated, in that the unit was sold at the same price whether it came with Wii Sports and Wii Resort, or just Wii Sports. I have to take responsibility for not looking closely enough, that I clicked on the unit with Wii Sports only. But from all the advertising, I expected to also get Wii Resort, so I did not look more closely. So while the game is fun, it is also a bit sad.

Pros: Fun and stays cool
Cons: N/A
one time I forgot to turn off the Wii for about 5 hours and when I got back I was nervous that it would be overheated. But when I felt it, it was not very warm at all and made me pretty happy.

This is a awesome gamesystem! The controllers for this system has no wires but still it needs batteries. Also on this system you can play gamecube games. Isn`t that awesome?!! All you need to play gamecube games is a gamecube controller and a gamecube memory card. Also this system has really good graphics. Go buy this system NOW or you`ll miss out on all the fun!!!

Nintendo Wii System (with Wii Sports)
Pros: Lowest Price of all consoles; free connection to the internet; widest variety of games in terms of age group.
Cons: In terms of capabilities, it is by far the weakest of all the systems; not for the hardcore gamer!
I played this for the first time with my nephew last christmas. Once I returned home, I decided to buy it. You can't beat the price, and it does have games for all ages; however, a majority of the games are obviously directed at kids.
