Before I returned this product, I was running two of these in SLI. On some games, the 9600GT ran perfectly with no errors. On about half of games both old and new, however, the "black screen of death" would occur. Thousands of other people have the same issue: it's not a problem with the drivers or the motherboard, or the power supply or the CPU or the PCIe bus, but with the hardware itself. I've been hearing that other brands besides eVGA have the same problem so it's Nvidia that's putting out the defective hardware. The only solution that worked temporarily was to underclock the card, but that sort of defeats the purpose of upgrading to one of the latest graphics cards, and mind you the cards still crapped out after an hour or so. The 9800 GX2 runs perfectly, however. No complaints there.

Cute presentation, amazing performance, budget purchase.
Just when I was going to buy a 3870 ATI, the 9600GT was realeased and the first reviews were enough to change my mind.
eVGA is a recognized brand that make great products.

I definatelly recomed this one, specially if you are looking for the beneffit of making a SLI at your machine, as I did on mine, without spending and arm and a leg for a 9800 or to a 8800GTX ot ULTRA...
I had a 8800GTS 320MB, to which I exchanged for 2 of these superb cards..
The space at the case now is much better, since it only uses one slot...
But since I got 2 working with SLI, I decided, just to be on the safe side, to put a passive fan to get the hot air out of their way..
The results on other games that I had on my PC were impressive...
Crysis now (which everyone know is the Today's Resource HOG game) runs smoothly with almost all the specs on VERY HIGH...
I am running Vista 64bit, with 4gb of RAM, AMD x2 64 5200 (2.6ghz)...
I shall mention that the bottleneck of my PC now is pretty much the processor, since these card gave new life to the games..
At Call of Duty 4, the impressive results came with a much better quality of the game details, since the frame rate remained pretty
