I bought this wireless nunchuck to work with my EA Sports Active. On some of the exercises it works great and I think it's really great being free of the wire smacking you. But on other exercises the game gets really confused. On lunges it kept telling me to hold still even though I was already still. I had the same problem on other exercises - mostly the ones where the nunchuck goes in the leg strap. The frustrating thing is that it gets stuck waiting for you to do the exercise "correctly" even though you already are. The only way to get past it is to plug the wired nunchuck in. I found myself switching back and forth between the wired nunchuck and the non-wired nunchuck. When you're trying to keep your heart rate up this is a waste of time and it's frustrating. The other problem with this thing is that it doesn't work with the plastic jacket that goes with the Wii remote. You have to take the jacket off in order to get this to fit. I would have been fine with that if only this thing had worked properly. I've stopped using it because it's just too fickle and too much of a pain. So it's a waste of money. If I hadn't spent so much on shipping I'd be sending it back. I'd try a different brand because the freedom from the wires was really great, but no one seems to have perfected this wireless nunchuck technology.
I really wanted to cut the cord with my wired controller! This wireless one works fine. I was a bit worried about its fit in the leg band for this workout game but it fits perfectly. It does seem to draw down the main controller battery more quickly but it's not terrible. We have a rechargeable battery for that so it's not a problem.

purchased to use with "Let's Dance" because cord'd nunchuck was to hard to use! This nunchuck totally changed my gaming experience....now I have TOTALLY free range of motion!
I didn't really notice how much I disliked the cord until I got this. It is really nice to have freedom of movement when I am doing my exercise programs.
Stopped working in less than 90 days. This item only has a 90-day warranty. I didn't get around to returning it right away assuming it had a 1-year warranty like most products. Now I'm out $20 and need to spend another $20 to get another nunchuk. I will be purchasing a Nintendo branded wired nunchuk. The wireless piece that plugs into the controller doesn't fit well with the Wii Controller case/protector. Nyko says the protector will 'strectch' to fit and it should say that the protector 'really needs to stretch' to fit over the wireless plug for the nunchuk. I would recommend that you DO NOT purchase this Nyko Wireless Kama Nunchuk.
