wall mount

wall mount is great, my only suggestion is to note that the final product on the wall has a tilting down look....meaning you should hang the wallmount slightly higher than you may want it as a result of this. This information is not listed anywhere on the product. My assumption was that it would hang flat, no tilt when done but that is not the case.tks.

You need two studs!!!

Installation was not a breeze and you need two people to do this right. The instructions are a bit confusing. However, once you have this bad boy up, you won't be disappointed. It offers lots of options to connect to your tv and is holding our 42" LCD without a problem. If you need to go through drywall, there are no wall anchors provided, but if you love your tv, you should definitely tie into 2 studs. The tv will protrude about 7 inches once all the cable is run and held in place with the provided ties. The mount allows you to pull the TV to extend out two feet and turn left and right. You can adjust the tilt by loosening a screw and then retightening, but i would have a friend around to help. Great bang for your buck!!

Btw...a J Box is an opening in the wall for all your cable to pass through undetected (aka "audio/video wall plate").

Good product for the price

We used these mounts for 42" Vizio LCD's in some of our hotel suites and they work quite nicely. I would not recommend this mount for anything larger as this seemed like the maximum weight to keep the swivel working properly.

Flat Panel Wall Mount

Heavy duty unit that provides over 2 feet of extension from the wall. The two articulating arms allow full swing motion side to side. Panel tilt adjustment easy to use but make sure you support the tv before you loosen tilt adjustment knobs.
