I liked this game a lot because you actually get to be the pokemon instead of the trainer. This game also has a great storyline to go along with it and you can find TONS of new items including all 493 pokemon!!! The only thats not good about the game is that some dungeons are really long. But all in all this a great game for ANY pokemon lover.

Pokemon mystery dungeon introduces the shinnoh pokemons in this mystery dungeon game. This game is the exact same thing as the darkness version. The story starts basically the same like the other mystery dungeon games where you take a quiz to figure out what pokemon you are then you pick a partner. This story starts out as you washed up on a beach and you can't remember anything but that you were human and your name. Your partner finds you and together you go and join a wigglytuff's guild. The controls of the game are very easy you just walk using the arrow controls. Simple game and you can chose the difficulty of each mission and all you do is find the stairs and reach the floor you suppose to get to at each level. Love this game a lot I recommend this to anyone who like adventure games.

this game in my opinion falls short from the rest of the series. it isnt traditional pokemon. in this game you play as the pokemon, capturing other pokemon with the stylus by circling them repetedly. it is a new concept but falls short from previous pokemon games of leveling up and collecting pokemon. it is still a fun game for pokemon fans but doesnt require anywhere near the time of traditional pokemon games to beat.
it is a break from traditional pokemon so if you tire of the somewhat repetative pokemon games that havent changed much, but love pokemon this is a great diversion for you.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time excels in both fun and challenge. It certainly is much improved from the previous Mystery Dungeon games, Red and Blue. The storyline is beyond impressive, and Treasure Town has been amplified beautifully and gives the player so much to do. It also adds a really addicting and useful minigame where you identify the footprints of Pokemon. (This gives the player "Poke", the game's currency of money. So it's not only fun and gives you a break from dungeons, but it's useful and you can play it anytime.) The previous games in this series lacked that and more, making the game annoying. There is almost no downside to this game unless you are too used to the usual Pokemon game that revolves around battling. While there is combat in Mystery Dungeon, it is brought down to a different level and is revamped entirely. The game gives you a much needed break from the stresses on constant battling in games such as Pokemon Diamond. A lot of reviews complain about

I thought that the original Mystery Dungeon games were very good. Basically, in them, you are a Pokémon and you go into randomized areas where the object is to either rescue some other Pokémon or to stop an evil Pokémon. One thing I have to say is that the game is much better than its predecessor (Red/Blue Rescue Team games). Two reasons it is are that that you can now do “bounty hunting” missions and identify the footprint missions. There are also tons of new Pokémon and items, and the storyline goes into much more detail. I can find very little wrong with this game besides the fact that in the Red/Blue Rescue Team games your partner was funny but in this one he isn’t. Overall it’s a really fun game that I think everyone will like.

I have been always a pokemon maniac from the pokemon decks and pokemon red to time but this one is a bit too much for me. Just after when you find a job on this game and entering the cave, I can't even get pass inside against 15 monsters and not many healing potions I might add. It could be fun but for some people, but, people who are buzy like me, this game is not for you.

For this to be a Pokemon game it really incorporates an advanced RPG story. If you're into mystery dungeon type game play this could be one of the best games for you. I won't echo whats already been said in other reviews, but I will talk about something rarely brought up.

What makes this game stand out from any other DS game is its wifi feature. I was defeated in a dungeon and instead of given a game over screen I was presented with the option to be rescued via wifi. I selected that option and someone, somewhere rescued me and I was notfied of the rescue via a text message (which can be an e-mail also).

This feature adds total replay value to the game, being able to rescue not just NCPs, but real players. There's a big joy that comes with knowing you rescued a real gamer.

I am a big Pokemon fan, so I love Pokemon games. When I started playing Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time, I fell in love with it. I can't find one flaw in this game. The music fits every scene, the dungeons are challenging and the guild members are lovely. I never get bored with this game. The story is very interesting and even has a few plot twists. So surprising. I love all the color this game has. It's beautiful. And all of the missions keep the game challenging and fun. The dungeon designs are hard to figure out, but that's what keeps it interesting. This is easy at first, but it soon gets hard, but it wouldn't be very fun if it were easy, would it? The story is actually fast, depending on how much you play the game. I got through the storyline in a week. It was hard, but I loved it. The graphics are bright and beautiful. This game is flawless to me.

My daughter loved it. My son loved it. They play with it whenever they are allowed to play video games. It came with a mini guide and they like to compare all the pokemons that they have. Worth the money I spent.

I recently got Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of time, and it was so awesome! I was so into the story, I couldn't put my DS down! In fact, I ended up completing the game in 2 days... Much, much better than the previous one in my opinion. The story is very interesting and touching, it gets a bit emotional at times.

My ratings:

Fun: 5/5. This game provided me with hours and hours of fun, as I explored and tried to solve the mystery of why I became a pokemon.

Graphics: 5/5. Everywhere we explored was simply beautiful, especially fogbound lake. I was completely captivated by the graphics.

Sound: 5/5. This game had wonderful music, that seemed to fit the mood, wether we were in a moment of deep trouble, or my partner and i were just having one of those emotional moments.

Dungeons: 3/5. There are many great dungeons to explore on this game, but however I was not pleased about the dungeon that reduces you to level 1 while you are exploring it. It's like throwing away all your hard work,

My 12 yr old. begged for this game. All I ever hear is Pokemon this and Pokemon that. I believe there is a good bit of reading in this game, so if your child is a good reader, then they should enjoy this game.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time Was one of the best games I've played. In fact, as much as I love it, it's better than Super Smash Brothers Brawl in my opinion. It does have a interesting story line, during the main story and the after. I've completed the game, and yet I can't stop even though there's not THAT much to do. I suggest this game to any Pokemon fan that enjoyed the last Pokemon Mystery Dungeon. It would still be good even if they haven't played the previous one that was terrific as well. It is totally worth the money, and will have you want to play it 24/7 as it did for me. It is also challenging but not too hard. Which makes great games. If you're not sure to buy this game or not, keep in mind this review and remember how much I liked it to give it a big 5 out of 5 star. If you have this game, you might know what I'm talking about right now. It has many twists and turns that make the game even more fun during the main story. If you played the last one, you may know

Having been a fan of Pokemon with my children for years I have always enjoyed playing the games alongside them. Being able to actually play AS a pokemon in the game is an exciting twist. This is the 2nd set of Pokemon Dungeon games and Nintendo has improved on the original idea with more interaction with characters in the game. There is not much use of the stylus, the game can be played entirely without it using the DS buttons. The possibility of being able to assemble your exploration team from all 480 pokemon is incredible! You can choose from any of your favorites to join you. Being able to lead your team with the Legendary Celebi or fight with your favorite Pikachu alongside of Dialga is really exciting. I would recommend this game to kids of all ages.

I am definitely not the Pokemon fan in our house, but all the little boys are. We pre-ordered this & received it mid-week last week (thank you, Amazon). Everything else was immediately forgotten, because "my new game is here!"
He has played it quite a bit in the last week, and says it's the best Pokemon game yet. I can't give specifics, but it's definitely a 5-star rating from our household.
