So at first I was a little skeptical about this game because I have played every other version of Mario Kart and the Wii Wheel worried me because it seemed like it would be hard to control and gimmicky. After having played it, I actually find it to be the most fun out of all the mario karts. This version is very similar to Mario Kart 64 only with additional features such as
*12 racers in the grand prix
*Online racing (This morning I raced 12 people from around the world and there was no lag and hardly any wait time)
*Tricks (that can be done with the flick of the wii wheel, although I noticed occasionally the tricks are unresponsive if you don't shake it hard enough)
*16 new courses and 16 retro courses.
*You can play as your mii
I love the courses, they are very colorful with great music and range from piece of cake to challenging
There's a ton of items you can use to "attack" opponents with such as that horrible blue shell that attacks the racer in first place. It's also great from

Pros: Ton of Fun, Awesome Play Control, Great Competition
Cons: Computer Rubberbanding, No COOP Grand Prix
This game is fun. The online play makes every race intelligent and challenging. While the traditional single player is a great challenge it's extremely difficult because the computers cheat. Of course they've always cheated since the original Mario Kart, but this time they cheat even worse.Now the online play is what makes this game great. You can always get anywhere from 7 to 11 competitors at any time of the day or night. These people are tough, but it's always a blast ramming and slamming them as you race for the finish. Its so much more real when you get those pesky computers off thet track. You ram them and they feel it in their hands, it doesn't get better than that.
The way the online play is set up is very slick. Nintendo picks players from either your country or around the world. They introduce them to you as a Mii waving in their locality on the globe. Sometimes you might race the same people 10 times in a row so you've got that opportunity to make it personal.

This game is a nice step up from the GCN version. The playing is flawless and the fact you can play online against a ton of people at once is cool too! The maps are very smooth. The new wheel that comes with the game has worked perfectly and responds to your every move. This is worth the price, play it and see for yourself!

I picked up this game on the 26th (yesterday) from my local game store and right away the entire family started playing. The game is very simple and not much different from the other Mario Karts of past except of course for the onlilne play which we haven't tried out as yet. There are a few characters to choose from, adult and baby alike and steering is pretty easy. You race against your chose characters and your Mii's are also included in the races. You just might see your Mii pass you by. We did it without the wheel (since we only had 1) and was surprised at how easy it was. The graphics are also pretty good. You go forward by using the 1 and 2 button to go forward or reverse and B to use your special. All in all a very good game and it was well worth the wait.

This game has gotta be one of the best wii games out there. It's very fun with the wii wheel, especially when playing online. I dont recommend this if you dont have online access or atleast someone else to play it with. Also, the battle mode kinda fails in my opinion...wasnt nearly as good as the old mario karts(the battle).

My nephew loves racing and really loves this game! It's one of the better racing games for Wii. The graphics are really good, the 3-D characters are awesome, the vehicles are SWEET, and they have simple, intermediate, and advanced tracks. The game is challenging, and I HIGHLY reccomend to any acing fan or Wii gamer.

Mario Kart Wii is an exellent game. There is variety of vehicles ranging from bikes to cars. Racing your friends is also very exciting in this game whether it's online or head to head in your living room. The use of power-ups and shortcuts in the game makes it all that better! Unfortunately, the graphics arn't the best, but they arn't the worst. Mario Kart Wii is an awesome game and I recommend it to everyone!

That is, until last week. I went over to a friend's house, we were hanging around and she pulled out her old N64, and we played Mario Kart on it. I loved it. I've never been into racing games of any kind, but Mario Kart was just.. I'm not sure how to properly put it, so I'll just say it was different. A few days later, I went to Best Buy and bought Mario Kart Wii, hoping it would be just as good, and it is, I have just as much fun playing MK Wii as I did playing it on the N64, the Wii Wheel makes it a little more so, though, but it's also a little less in some areas.. Part of the reason I love this game so much is partially because it doesn't just seem like a race, it seems like a battle, thanks to those magnificent items. Now, in the N64 Mario Kart they didn't seem so over used, at least not when I played it, but they can get so annoying in this game. This game is so much fun. I'm an adult and love it. It's a great game to play when we have a few people over. Also, the Nintendo wi-fi connection allows us to race against from friends out of state. So much fun.

Wow! This is so much fun! I don't usually get involved in driving games, but this one totally captivated me. I play with my husband and 9 year old. I place between 7th and 12th everytime, but it's great family fun. Love it!

I must admit that I am not one for racing games or Mario for that matter, but Mario Kart Wii is incredible fun! It is even better with a wheel. I love video games (trust me, I love a good game of Left 4 Dead!), but I get tired of mean spirited competition. Mario Kart brings out the silliness in everyone. My husband and I have a great time playing Mario Kart together or taking turns with races to unlock more things. So, if you have kids, I am sure it will be a winner; however in cases like mine, for just adults, it will bring out the excited kid in you!

I/we love this game and play it regularly. This is the best game in my opinion for family competition that is non-stop fun! Get four steering wheels and have a blast! Best buy for my Wii ever!

This game is so much fun. I really love the online play, lots of competition makes it so much fun. I wish that player 2 could get their rating changed when playing online, but that is not a big problem. There are lots of fun, challenging, and unique tracks to pick from, something for everyone.

My seven year old son wanted this game so badly he saved up his allowance to get it. It was worth it. He loves it, it is completely appropriate for younger children, and our whole family has a great time playing it together.

I'm an older female gamer who started gaming when in the early 1980's up 2 years ago when I sold my last console. I swore I wasn't going to go back to gaming and move on to other interests. Well, I am back to the gaming world with a new glint in my eye because I'm pretty darn excited about my new Nintendo Wii and new games. One of my new games just makes being a Wii owner a joy and that is Mario Kart with the Wii wheel. The wheel is very durable, solid and feels comfortable. I had zero problems putting the remote in the wheel and was ready to play literally within 2 minutes of opening the box. I was curious if I would have some of the problems with the wheel that others have had but instead it felt totally natural! I had so much fun using the wheel that I can't imagine not using it as a controller for Mario Kart! I simply do not understand why others have so many problems but I think I can understand maybe what others are doing incorrectly. First of all when you are playing the game

The Wii games come with all gadgets and programs, some more interesting than others and almost all cositng far more than they are worth. Mario Kart is one of the better games for a five year old...he can understand the game and how to use it which is not always the case with many of the Wii programs. But, like most of the games, it is not worth the $50+ dollars and I would recommend looking for a good used or resale.....little kids get bored easily with games such as Mario Kart and always look for new games and challenges in a relative short period of time....this is not the case with Wii Fit or many of the music, dance, band, programs.

Old game with a new twist and it is pure fun for the entire family and all of your friends. The game arrived (with the driver's wheel) much sooner than I expected and I was so pleased with the purchase. Way to go Amazon!!!!!!

A clever game, Mario Kart incorporates the familiar characters from the Nintendo Games for an exciting racing experience. Several racing circuits each with four thematically different race tracks provide multiple challenges. Some themes include: Racing on a typical (but not elliptical) race tracks; racing through a gold mine (be careful not to fall off the tracks); racing down a snow covered mountain (watch out for the snowboarders); racing through the rural countryside (watch out for the milk cows that meander onto the dirt roadway); racing across the frozen tundra (watch out for the giant penguins); racing on a volcano (you guessed it, watch out for lava!); racing across the beach, through narrow city streets, along moonlit highways.... My daughter play this game for the longest time on her Wii. She got every charathers on Mario Kart Wii exsept Mii Outfit B. She finish the whole game. She plays online too. This game is fun. She uses the Wii Wheel and its easy to control. Her Wii Wheel persent is 99%. Her Overall ranking is A.

Oh where to start, well the Wii Wheel adds an extra dimension to gameplay. I like how the wheel fits right into my hands. I have been a fan of Mario Kart ever since the days of Nintendo 64 and then kind of forgot about it during the gamecube era as I did not own one. And then I got this as a birthday gift. The graphics are jaw dropping for the Wii. In fact, they are some of the best graphics that I have ever seen. I also like that Nintendo has added old Mario Kart Courses from SNES, N64, Gamecube, and Nintendo Ds. The online play is the aditional level of gameplay. It is so much fun to play against other people. The only bad thing that I can think of is that when I play on the internet, It sometimes kicks other people off the internet but this may just be my internet. This is definatley in the top five games for the Wii alongside Animal Crossing: City Folk, Mario Party 8, Wii Fit, and Wii Sports Resort. I hope you found this review helpful.

At first when i bought this game i really enjoyed this. But I beat the game in two days. But i still do like playing online (really fun). Overall this game is okay, I reccomend this game.

Mario Kart is pure family entertainment! There are a variety of tracks and characters. Even when one beats the game, you can play with others online and the game does not get boring. I don't use the wheel, but my son does. I like just to use the controller. It is great for the family or even just one player.

My four year old recently received this game for her birthday. She had played it at a neighbor's house a few weeks ago and was rather happy that at long last she was able to play a Wii game. I was skeptical that she'd be able to complete a course in the game, but she has proved me wrong over the past two weeks that she has had this game. It is the only Wii game that she has been able to play without getting frustrated. The rest of the family is delighted with this game, as well. I'm one of those people who lacks the capacity to successfully play video games well. I'm pretty happy to report that I can play this game with absolute ease. My older daughter (almost 8) loves this game. She finds the menu of the game easy to operate and she easily navigates the race courses in this game. This was such a fun game to play. The Wii controls in which you use the wheel can be a little frustrating but once you get used to it, that is the only way to play. Using the wheel is what makes this game great. The only reason I gave this 4 stars on the fun is because I find it is hard for people just to pick up and play the game if they never played it before. Online play is solid, easy to join big games.

This game is a really fun game to play. If you want to feel like your really in the game, then use the Wii wheel.
There are a lot of characters to play as and you can play as a Mii character from your Wii memory.
I like the fact that Nintendo made this game harder, but they made it a little too hard.

Bought this for my young son due to the simplicity of the game. Turns out my wife and I play it every other night after the kids go to sleep because it is so much fun! We have two of the WII Wheels for the extra excitement of the game.. It's a blast.

I haven't played a racing game for the Wii that's better than this. With the Wii Wheel, this game is unstoppable fun, not to mention Wi-Fi and up to four players playing the game simultaneously. There's a wide variety of characters to choose from too, ranging from Dry Bowser to Funky Kong to even Rosalina as a gift if you own Super Mario Galaxy. If not, you have to unlock her. There are plenty of bikes and karts to choose from, too, and, if you have a friend code, you can play with a friend from different locations, no matter the distance. There are even lots of race tracks from our favorite Mario Karts, some only having a few changes: they come from Double Dash, DS, 64, even Super Mario Kart. I'm sure any Mario fan can recognize at least a few of the tracks. The battles are also fun, including arenas from previous games like the tracks. There's a lot to do in this game, my favorites being Wi-Fi battles and multi-player races. Mario Kart, you've done it again.

I found that this game was more for kids. It's not as fun for most adults. But listening to my kids, they seem to love it. I found that they never play it by themselves. So I recommend this game to people who have someone to play with. Otherwise, it might not be as fun. Also, I recommend this to younger kids and not so much to adults.

I kept hearing how great Mario Kart for the Wii was, so I finally played it. It lives up to the rumors! I thought it was going to be ridiculous to play with the cordless steering wheels but it was just fine! I enjoyed all the new courses and new characters! Everyone loves Mario Kart, old school version or new futuristic version. I've noticed it's a great way to bring the family together - friends too! It's so much fun!

No matter your age, playing this game even the most old people will fell like back in childhood playing games, childish emotions will come out of them.

this game is the best game yet! my neighbor and i have loads of fun playing this game! she will call me and say "hey, i'm coming over. can we play mario kart!!" its the BEST game for wii and not that expensive for all the fun you get from it!

I recommend this fantastic game! I hope you enjoy it. It is great! There are so many characters to choose from (Mario, Luigi, Peach, Bowser, Bowser Jr., Ghost(s),etc.) You can choose from many courses. There are lots of vehicles. You have the option for manual or automatic. During the course, you can collect items (E.G. Lightning) that will help you to win. There are obstacles, such as a bridge. One thing that's REALLY great: YOU CAN USE THE WII WHEEL so that it's like you're driving an actual car!!! Very realistic. I recommend it to anyone of any age. HAVE FUN WHEN YOU BUY IT!!!!!!!

I am starting to think that their might be 2 versions of this game, you are completely dependent on the random items the computer gets, or you have to memorize what attacks come from where when you have certain items or are in certain spots in the map. This is in reference to 150 cc and mirror level. I have talked to a number of people. Some say it is easy, they never get hit with shells and they just cream the computer. Others, like myself, find that the game is about surviving the last corner or 2 on the 3rd lap in an 11 vs 1 competition. When riding in 1st through 4th, I find that I get nailed too often and usually with a regular pattern depending on the item I have in store. For instance, if I am 2 or 3 corners away from the finish with 3 mushrooms (position irrelevant); I will be red shell'd, star'd to drop my mushrooms, the computer will pick up the 3 mushrooms, and star'd again. This pattern happens so often I burn 2 mushrooms just to prevent it. I have found certain spots

A very fun game. I use to play the Nintendo DS and 64 versions of the game and this is better than those. Battle mode is a lot of fun with friends and family and you can play online which is great. Very worthwhile purchase.

There are so many settings to choose from, especially in versus mode. Some people say that it is too easy, but if you want to make it harder, you can set the computers to hard and the item boxes to aggressive. That will give you more of a challenge.
There are so many characters to chose from too. Baby Daisy, who is my favorite, had her first appearance in this game. She is so cute and so is Baby Peach. I love how the characters make so much noise during the race and after the race is over.
As for the vehicles, there are also so many. Some are better on some races and not so good for others. They have a wide variety of stats, such as speed and acceleration.
There are a lot of levels as well... long and short. I have played at least seven thousand races (seriously, I'm not lying) and unlocked everything five times and it is still fun. The hard thing to imagine is I haven't even had it for a year and I've already done that

This is definitely the best multiplayer game for the Wii. There are lots of fun, different courses, plenty of different karts and bikes, and lots of characters (it's great that you can play as your Mii). It's easy to pick up and play for first time players who will get help through better items if they fall behind. It is also a challenge for more experienced players. The multiplayer, both online and local, is the true strength of this game though; it's really great! A must-have game for the Wii!

This game is great for 5yr olds & up. My daughter tested the game out in the store when she was four, but I waited for her to turn five to give it to her. Wish I let her play it earlier. So... I'm sure that four year olds can play this game.

This is a really fun game and you can get hours of gameplay from it. There's a few new features like boosts, in-air tricks, etc...but other than that, it is pretty similar to Mario Kart Double Dash for the Gamecube. I was kind of disappointed about the lack of upgrades, new features and such, but I'm still satisfied with the game and still play it from time to time even after having bought it over a year ago. One thing I do not recommend for this game is the Wii Wheel. If you want to be cool or whatever by saying you only play with the Wii Wheel, fine, but you'll probably get dominated. It is much more fun and efficient to simply play with the Wii-Mote and Nunchuck or the Gamecube Controller. The drifiting aspect in this game is awesome, and you really can't do it with the Wii Wheel. Another disappointment is the new stages; there are a few fun ones, but other than that I consider them to be pretty weak. Overall, it is a fun game, probably worth buying if you really like the Mario Kart

mario kart is one of my favorite frachises so a new mario kart for wii is bound to be good. and it was the wii wheel makes it even more exciting there are some new tracks and you can do tricks and wheelies and there are new chracters the only complaint i have is that there is the same amount of cups but the game is still pretty exstensive multiplayer is also a lot of fun so if you like mario kart then this game is for you!

Wow. This game never gets old. It gets played very often in my household (ages: 41, 34, 22, 17, 13) and by our nephews (ages: 9, 8).
Don't use the wheel! For us, the biggest problem with this game is when we try to use the "wheel". Unfortunately, the reaction time of the Wii remote is so slow and uneven that racing with the wheel (that is, just using the Wii remote alone) is impractical and infuriating. However, once you attach the nunchuck or a classic controller, the control sensitivity increases and game gets really good!
This game already has a multitude of excellent reviews, so I won't add too much more except to say: Best game ever!

Mario Kart Wii is way better than the DS verison.It still share some of the similar features such as racing through WiFi, but the Wii verison give you more chartaters and rides. It is really fun to play in groups or alone. the price may be high, but its worth it for Mario Kart Wii!

This is honestly one of my most favorite games ever! I can play it for hours. You can choose the skill level of the other characters you're going against. So if you want the race to be easier, just make the other characters bad at driving. There's so many places and characters to unlock. And they give you so many choices of stuff to do! You can play with people online, play against the CPU's, play as a team, or play battle mode. I personally find that the game isn't either too hard or too easy. Sometimes I win, sometiems I lose. :D

It's awsome!! There are so many tracks to race on, even old ones. There is also new characters that weren't even on the other Mario Kart games. It's very interactive and fun. Oh, you can also do Wi-Fi and race other people around the world!

Unlike some consoles where you have to shell up a monthly fee to play online, *Coughxboxlivecough*, Nintendo offers free online play which makes it worth it. You will make all your friends buy this, and meet up online for crazy games with mushrooms, and bombshells, and what not. At $45, this was worth every penny. Check out merit line for spare wheels if you need them. It could be cheaper, but I'm guessing Nintendo is bankrolling their server infrastructure with the profits fro

We bought this game for my husband and I and the kids (age 4 and 5). All of us have a blast. We love racing against each other and trying to get new levels unlocked. It is very user friendly and easy for even my 4 year to use. The wheel is surprisingly sensitive and just adds to all the fun. A must for some good family fun.

Mario Kart for wii is great. You can race up to 4 of your friends in your room, or around the world with Wifi connection. The steering is fairly good but can be a bit off at times. The wifi can lag sometimes but not too much. This game is great if you like mulitplayer racing fun.

I am not much for racing games, but this is one of the best games for wii! it is a classic twist with mario and racing and hast the old joys of mario cart with new wii controls! you can unlock characters and karts and also use your own mii! i love mario and they just made another SLAM DUNK! When I ordered Mario Kart I knew for a fact this was going to be an excellent game. The product I purchased was delivered in good standard. Being that I have a large famiy we all can enjoy the game. So hopefully in the future I can order from this company again!!!

This game is fun for the whole family, it's pretty simple to play but that doesn't prevent the fun, that can last for hours. There's also the online mode, that's a good opportunity to enjoy vs. races with people all over the world.

I think that Mario Kart Wii was cool. I first started playing holding the remote vertically, but then my mom told me to hold it sideways. I liked the power-ups. I liked Bullet Bill, and the Grand Prix settings. I liked the team setting, but I didn't like the individual setting. I loved this game!

We currently have 7 different wii games but find that the one most played and enjoyed is MarioKart. From 5 to 45 years old...everyone loves it. The graphics are fantastic. Everyone has their favorite character and all 4 family members can play at one time which is awesome. We have two steering wheels and two nunchuks and either way the game is played and enjoyed.
Highly recommend this game. It is not violent and is great fun.

There are alot of courses, a bunch of karts and bikes, and a lot of different characters. Also online play is great becuase you get to race with your friends and other people from around the world.

I've been a Mario Kart fan since the release of Mario Kart Double Dash for the Nintendo Gamecube. I was very satisfied with that game. Then the DS version of Mario Kart came out and once again I was very satisfied. Now, I'm a huge fan of Mario Kart Wii. It's definitely the best Mario Kart game ever!!
THE GOOD:
Mario Kart Wii is a "pick it up and play" type game. You spend no time reading the instructions and more time playing the game. The new interactive controls are cool and easy to learn. Lastly, the online features allow you to race against random people from around the world, play against your friends, and compete in tournaments.

Opponents may cheat during online races. This is the only negative of Mario Kart Wii. Occasionally you'll race against an opponent who has infinite items and/or warps ahead of you when they fall behind.

MarioKart one of the best wii game there is. It is really fun to play with many people, but it is also fun to play by yourself. The different stages rate from really easy to extremely hard. It is easy to get use to the hard stages, but that's just me.

This is a fun game to play any time, but it's best when played with a group.I first got this game for a party and 4 people would play at a time. It was the most fun we've had at a party in a long time. Get it and play it with friends.

This is a great game, especially for groups or parties. It's easy to play, and people who don't play video games can enjoy it right away. I prefer using it with the nun chuck controller, the wheel is really hard to control. We had it set up at our rehearsal dinner (which we hosted at our house) people of all ages and backgrounds really enjoyed playing. You don't need a large group to enjoy it, and I don't think it matters how much you unlock. My husband and I have fun playing together. If could only own one game on my wii, it would be this one.

This game is now my favorite to play for the Wii system. I originally thought that one wheel would be enough but playing with the wheel was so much fun we decided to get another one. My fiance' and I play this game often and have so much fun with it. I thought at first this was going to be too easy of a game but once you start advancing in the game the difficulty of the game increases. Some of the tracks are similar to the ones in the original game which is fun but there are also many new exciting tracks. I recommend reading the information first because it tells you how to do some tricks and things that boost your speed while you are racing. Love this game!

First off, this is a not-to-be-missed title for the Wii. With so many sub-par "waggle the remote" motion control and little kid gimmicks out there it is very refreshing to get such a great game on the Wii.
Unlocking tracks via single player is not an issue. As long as you have 50% of a brain you should be able to unlock everything on 50cc (thus making it usable in multiplayer) in just a couple of hours.
Moving on, I have a few gripes about the game:
Wii-remote controls: these can become very unresponsive especially when taking sharp corners. When turning the wheel, you can't tell what the threshold is between a left and a right turn. For instance, if you make a hard left, sometimes the game will register it as a right turn sending you into a wall or something. Just use the gamecube controller to avoid this.
Items: Nintendo could have done a lot better with these. Items are way too overpowered in this game and tend to reward luck rather than skill. It's not a huge issue, but it does

I bought this for my son as a birthday gift. He thoroughly enjoys the game and keeps discovering new courses and new bike/carts to try on. There are other kids who also have the game and they all share their experiences, which makes this game even more interesting... Good buy!

This game looks really good (character, race car, course, background designs) but still doesn't look as good as it could (480p video quality is still poor but better than composite video). Nevertheless, this game is so much fun that it doesn't matter in the end.

We got this game a few months back and I have played it more than all our other Wii games combined. There are many different modes and challenges but my favorite is the online play which works surprisingly well (we do have high speed broadband). I find it very addictive and incredible that you can play with people all over the world. Without a doubt this is the best game for the Wii. I hope they make a follow-up game.

I LOVE this game!! Really the only Wii game I play besides sports. I would recommend this game to anyone considering it. It has tracks from previous Nintendo platforms. Its fun and easy to play with the remote and nunchuck. Plus you can play with other people that have wii if you have wireless internet and your Wii is set up with it. I can play with my sister who lives in another state.

If you're looking for an entry-level racing experience, go with this one. Guaranteed to teach you the basics and beyond on driving in Wii. Will make you spend countless hours playing it. Although the graphics look childish, the game play is a bomb! Wi-fi multiplayer is a great addition to this game. Certainly a great stepping stone to other racing games such as the NFS Series.

FUN, FUN, FUN!! We've had this game for 5 months. My husband and I, who don't even like video games, play this with our kids at least a few times a week. (And we've both been busted sneaking off and working on our personal "driver's licences." We got the Wii and this game for the kids, and we love it as much as them... the best is doing it all together. We have 15 Wii games and this one gets played WAY more than the others combined. If you only have this one game, the Wii console is totally worth it.

Mario Kart is by far the best game for the Wii. The controls are soooo fun because you actually steer and Nintendo added a ton of awesome karts and race tracks. They also brought back a lot of old courses from Mario Kart 64, Mario Kart Double Dash, and Mario Kart for the DS. And to top it all off the online is amazing. The ONLY bad thing about this game is that there is no headset for online (and wii speak doesn't work for it) but overall its a fantastic game.

I have this game for my Wii and i was hooked for a while. I slowly started playing it less and less. Mostly because no one was online anymore and everyone online hacked everything so it got boring. It's a good game for racing fanatics because it takes a long time to beat everything so it will pass lots of your time. Still not what I expected after a while... I would recommend it but it gets boring and I like games that you can play for more than 3 months

My mom bought this video game for me in January and I really like it! I am 7 years old and I think it's really fun. So far it's my favorite wii game. I like all the cool characters and the cool vehicles. I advise you to buy it. You'll have lots of fun with it. You won't feel like you wasted your money. Sorry gotta go play this awesome game now.

Like many of the previous Mario Kart titles, Mario Kart Wii delivers fun in more ways than one. The ability to use whichever control style you want is nice for those who don't like the Wii wheel, and the abundance of characters and vehicles is also good. I was pleasantly surprised at the number of retro tracks that Nintendo chose to include. Overall, a great Wii game and absolutely necessary for Wii parties.

No matter what way you look at its Mario Kart Wii is an excellent game. Very good visuals and gameplay. There is a lot of polish. There are different control methods to use and I prefer the Gamecube controller or the Wii remote inside the wheel or just the nunchuck and Wii remote. All seemed to work good. You have your typical Mario Kart modes included this time around is Online and it works great. This game is a step up over Double Dash and a step in the right direction for the series.

This is such a great game. I had it for the DS and it was really fun, but the wii version is so much better. And the steering is very real. Other driving games I have played have been very difficult to steer and not very real. This game is very real. It is a pleasure to play, and when I start playing, very quickly more people join in!

This game is unbelieveable!! I bought it for my son-in-law's birthday. My other son-in-law recommended it. They live in different parts of the country and can play each other online. My 5 year old granddaughter also plays against them, and people from all over the world, and she usually wins. Go figure!! It keeps them in touch and they have a blast, setting aside one night a week for family game night. There are many different race courses and variations that they never get tired of it. Whoever invented the WII and this game in particular is beyond genius. Even I play it (60 plus years old) and have a good time and give everyone a good laugh. Naturally being the old fuddy-duddy (and cautious driver) of the group I lose!! If you are looking for a way to keep the family entertained and connected, this is it!!

My son got this CD for his 4th Birthday and has been playing since then. Most of the time he gets the 1st place in the race, witch is not that easy. But sure the game is very good comparing to so many others he own.

The title says it all. According to Nintendo's suggested age range, 5-105, I just sneak in on the higher end so I'm allowed to review this. I usually get sick of games pretty quick but this game is both challenging and fun. A rare combination. While getting zapped 5 times by the computer is fustrating you have to remember the luck will turn your way sooner or later. Easy to play right from the start but keeps challenging you as you get better.
Great and easy to control with the Wii wheel and if you don't want to bother with manual drift on turns since there is enough to do you can still win on auto. The unlock for tracks is both easy enough to do yet a challenge. The unlock for characters can get long and I wish you didn't have to go to an online site to find out what you have to do to unlock a character or vechile or earn a star or what times to beat in time trials or . . . I know a paper manual would be massive, but how about on the Nintendo site so I don't have to go to gaming

This game is addictive and amazing. There are so many wonderful things about it that others have gone into before me. The BEST aspect, in my opinion, is the fact you can play two players online at the same time in your household. I have never seen this before in any game. This is a wonderful concept. Usually you're forced to watch someone play online while you do nothing, but this allows you to compete against each other as well as 10 other players online, for a total of 12. The tracks are so varied and numerous, that you never get bored and it takes a long time to really master each one, if you ever do.
But.......the reason I subtracted one star. CHEATING!!! There are sooooo many people who cheat online that it has really begun to affect my enjoyment of the game. It started kind of slowly, where I noticed a few funky things going on in each room. But once I started looking for it, wow!! You will find at least one-two people in any room cheating.

Got this game along with a charger unit knowing that we would put the hours in on this one. It's been a great game and we are still enjoying it after a few months. Wish it had some more new tracks but the old ones are still pretty fun. I'm not a big fan of the wheel as everyone tends to oversteer and it's sometimes hard to find center for a rookie. Still a great game that's given us hours of fun.

After the disappointing Gamecube version (Mario Cart Double Dash), this game brings new life to the series. The wii wheel control is a must, because it makes the game that much more fun (and incredibly easy to use). The graphics are vivid and colorful but not overpowering, and the new levels are inventive and easy to get the hang of. If you ever get bored of playing against the computer (you won't), you can also play people from around the world on wi-fi, which takes almost no time to connect to. Overall, just a great game.

I found that you don't even need the wheel to perform well in this game. The wheel is a bit heavier than a plain remote, so shaking it to do tricks can get tiring. So much better without.

It's really a matter of picking the lesser of two evils, Sony or Microsoft. I'd almost rather go with MS because Sony beat out Nintendo with the PS2. Just glad to see Nintendo back on top.

Yeah well if it didnt have coop online it would FAIL becuase most games not just army games have an online coop feature now, Merc 2 did and Resistance 2 which I think is gonna be a massive hit online has up to 8 player coop.
