NETGEAR WNDR3300 RangeMax Dual Band Wireless-N Router
The set up and use of this router was easy...no worries. That blue light however would drive any person insane. Why would they do that? that light is bright enough, that I could unplug my nightlight in the kitchen! Well, enough of that. I just want you to know that this is a good router with a built in flashing blue night light...

NETGEAR WNDR3300 RangeMax Dual Band Wireless-N Router
Pros: You can upgrade in 6 to 7 months
Cons: You have to upgrade in 6 to 7 months......
I bought this router when i bought my laptop about a year ago. It was pretty easy to set up and it worked fine for the first 6 or 7 months, but lately it has been getting more and more finicky about keeping a connection. Yesterday it just stopped working and It wont even connect to the internet anymore. Thankfully i kept my old linksys and was able to connect it and it started right up. This is the second time this has happened to me with a non-linksys router and it will be the last.

NETGEAR WNDR3300 RangeMax Dual Band Wireless-N Router
Pros: Cost and postential speed boost.
Cons: Additional hardware is need on the WiFi connected PCs to obtain the maximum speed boost.
This is an excellent router for the money. The wireless speed is almost instantaneous on my newest laptops. Just remember, you need the fast WiFi receivers on the laptops or desktops too or your speed will suffer. Also, to realize the fastest connection speed, you will benefit by using the 64 bit IE browser if your PC has the 64 bit operating system installed.

Fairly easy to setup.. I am new to this but got a little help from a son with wireless router. Got the WII and 1 computer working just fine so far. I hope it works out in my workshop less than 150 feet away..

NETGEAR WNDR3300 RangeMax Dual Band Wireless-N Router
Pros: Once its configured properly its stable.
Cons: Poor documentation and help features in the router setup.
After tweaking with the settings I was able to get the router connections stabilized to my PCs and Macs. I gave up on the wireless connection to my Blu-Ra player and ran an ethernet cable directly from the router to it. Now it maintains a stable connection during streaming of Netflix films. I still have not gotten the high end channels to connect to my Mac, which has a newer airport card and OS.<br />Would I buy it again? If not for the great sale price, I doubt it.

NETGEAR WNDR3300 RangeMax Dual Band Wireless-N Router
Pros: Nice case
Cons: Company support was horrible, documentation is useless.
This router worked just fine for 100 days and suddenly stopped recognizing the internet. When we tried to troubleshot the problem and called Netgear they told us they would be happy to help us, but it was now out of warranty and we could pay for their support.<br />The documentation that came with it was minimal at best. The manual that is on the web is rudimentary and is not helpful at all beyond the very basics.<br />Needless to say, I'm now looking for a new router.<br />My recommendation on this product and Netgear items are to shop anything else if at all possible.

NETGEAR WNDR3300 RangeMax Dual Band Wireless-N Router
Pros: Connections are labeled with fun shapes
Cons: Connection drops, complicated setup
I purchased this router primarily because I didn't want to drop $190 on the Apple Airport Extreme that boasts similar functionality. Why spend another $110 for something with the same feature set?

NETGEAR WNDR3300 RangeMax Dual Band Wireless-N Router
Pros: Easy to set up and no issues to date
Cons: The glowing neon blue light...which you can't turn off.
I have owned the Netgear WNDR3300 for over 3 months and have had no issues, which is the best compliment I can provide. It has great range for my house, providing a strong signal to opposite corners (including a lower level) from where it is located. It was easy to set up and has been the best wireless router I have used to date.

NETGEAR WNDR3300 RangeMax Dual Band Wireless-N Router
Pros: Easy setup.
Cons: No instructions in package to set up wireless repeater function.
I was looking to upgrade my existing router/DSL modem and found the choices were limited. I settled on the companion DGND3300 which is the same as this router except it has a built in DSL modem. Both were easy to set up as stand alone routers and worked straight out of the box without a hitch. The only issue was getting a strong enough signal downstairs to the first floor. The solution was getting this router to use as a wireless repeater. I got this one from BB (on sale for $69) for about $5 more than a new USB dual band adapter and the signal is great. There was another poster for the DGND3300 that had trouble setting these up, but not sure why. Network is running like a champ although you do need to go to the NetGear website to get instructions on how to use the wireless repeater function.

NETGEAR WNDR3300 RangeMax Dual Band Wireless-N Router
I am a long time fan of Netgear products. Unfortunately, that might change with this product. Router was very easy to set up as older models (did I mention this was probably the 5th Netgear router I have purchased, not to mention recommended to friends and family). The problem is with the N standard I think. It just does not work. Under 5 GHz mode, n does not deliver the speed of g. The router was located just upstairs from the WNDA3100 adapter I was using and speeds were horrible to say the least. I switched the n to the 2.4GHz option and the router became very unstable for my g devices. When it wasn't dropping the signal I was finally getting n speeds about 1.5x that of g. I spent hours on the net checking all available settings to resolve the issue, but alas ended up packaging up the router to return. Will probably go with a Range Max g unit instead. N is just not ready for prime time - do some research before buying.

NETGEAR WNDR3300 RangeMax Dual Band Wireless-N Router
I bought this router in July 2008, and it has lasted longer without any hardware issues than most wireless routers I have owned. After the v1.045 firmware upgrade, this has become the most stable wireless router that I have owned. The router has no issues with DCHP, DNS, routing load nor hardware stability. I have two Tivo's, a PS3, a Slingbox, a VoIP adapter, a Skype adapter, an HP MediaSmart WHS, and four laptops that connect at any given time to the internet... as well as many other IP devices (such as a print server and NAS) which just connect to the local network from different rooms... and this router supports them all for weeks at a time without rebooting... While it may not be the fastest router on the block due to its 100baseT connections and limited Wireless N-support, it can support concurrent dual-band wireless as long as the G is configured for 54Mbps only. Currently, no complaints... I just wish it were as fast as the Netgear WNDR-3700, though not sure how stable that model is.

NETGEAR WNDR3300 RangeMax Dual Band Wireless-N Router
Pros: Fairly easy to setup
Cons: Nothing Yet
I originally bought a Dlink router, which caused my internet signal to to lag once the wireless printer was added to the network. The signal strength was sporadic. I was a little surprised since I had good success with DLink in the past. Once I purchased the Netgear router everything was up and running smooth. The internet connection as quick and responsive as it was when I plugged in a network cable. I have two laptops and a desktop and I got on the internet on them at the same time and it worked perfectly. I would recommend this router to anyone who has a little tech ability because it is well worth it.

NETGEAR WNDR3300 RangeMax Dual Band Wireless-N Router
Pros: Fast
Cons: The light is very bright
I purchased this item right after I had set up new internet service. I was worried that I would have a hard time setting it up but it was very easy to install and works exactly how I wanted it to. I'm not very tech savvy but my internet is fast and my boyfriend plays on Xbox live and he has a great connection and never slows down my laptop.

NETGEAR WNDR3300 RangeMax Dual Band Wireless-N Router
Pros: nothing great just OK
Cons: set up in plan english would be nice. Blue LED must go!!!
I was looking for more security with greater range. What I got is security with a little less range and an OBNOXIOUS light show. This is not the LEDs on the front like any other router. This is a 2 inch blue circle with intense blue LEDs flashing like a cop car. It illuminates the room at night. You cant look directly at the light. I have to turn the router off if anybody spends the night in the same room.

NETGEAR WNDR3300 RangeMax Dual Band Wireless-N Router
Pros: Easy set-up, can handle what's thrown at it, cheaper than a Linksys
Cons: So far... Nothing
In my household, there are 4 roommates. Each of us has our own Xbox, laptop &amp; smartphone w/ wifi capability. We were having trouble with wireless connections for our laptops &amp; wired connections with the Xbox's (primarily NAT types). We were originally using a Linksys WRT160N V2 that was not cutting it. I then tried out a Linksys E3000, which was a little better, but still not doing the job. Despite almost everyone in the house having a dislike for Netgear, I decided to go get the Netgear WNDR3300 &amp; hooked it up.
