Indiana Jones is a fantastic franchise, Harrison Ford is an incredible actor and plays his scenes brilliantly, the action is exciting and directing this franchise is possibly the best director ever Steven Spielberg, but alas I'm a wimp and I can't stand the slightest bit of blood so I've never watched any of those films. So I was very excited when I found out there was going to be a LEGO version of the Indiana Jones franchise. It follows Indy in his first three adventures, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Temple of Doom, and the Last Crusade. The game play design is very similar to LEGO Star Wars design, and the typical LEGO humor is still there. Also this is a family friendly game, the LEGO villains just break apart after their killed nothing gruesome. Now this is not just a fighting game, you also have to solve puzzles and that's what makes this game terrific. Now for younger children I'd recommend purchasing a guide it can get frustrating at times, or maybe the parents can step in and solve the puzzle the kids stuck on. There are three things to collect in each level, there is a gold stud meter on the top of your screen which becomes fuller and fuller each time you smash LEGO objects and collect their studs. These coins help you unlock cheats. You also can collect ten hidden treasures in each level. Last of all, in each level you can also collect one parcel and place it in the hidden mail box to be able to buy cheats. And it's not easy; I can tell you that, sometimes you really have to try certain things. I love challenges and this game gives me that element that so many games don't have. There are two play modes, story mode, where you watch LEGO sequences and play with the two selected characters chosen for the episode, and free play, where you can play as whoever you want. But it's not a useless mode, in fact many treasures and parcels can only be found with numerous characters. There's an army soldier with a bazooka gun, he can help you blow up an item that's impossible to break with a pistol. Some women can scream to break glass, Indy's whip can pick up certain items. There over sixty characters to unlock in all! And they all have different abilities. So as you can see, there's great replay value here. Now when you finish a level, you can decide to continue to the next chapter or go to the college, and let me tell you the college is so much fun. There are numerous rooms to choose from, and there's also a room where you can create your own character. There's tons of looks to choose from and it's a lot of fun too. Now you may think the controls will be difficult but they're not. They're very simple and if you still are confused there is a pamphlet included that features many of the moves you can do throughout the game. And just like LEGO Star Wars there's a two player mode, and it's so much fun. But, your characters have to be close by or the screen will just stay still so younger kids might get frustrated if they want to go seperate ways, I'm just warning you parents. Also, you can join in and drop out any time you want. Did I mention the graphics? They're very impressive for a PlayStation 2 game, there almost as good as the PlayStation 3 version. After you get 100% LEGO studs start falling all over the college and it's a nice way to show you have completed the game, it's just so much fun so if you haven't purchased LEGO Indiana Jones the Original Adventures yet, I'd recommend purchasing it very soon. (Oh by the way, there are three secret levels in the college, but I'm not going to tell you how to find them, you'll have to figure out how to unlock them yourself.) Adios Amigos!

Game is fun, challenging and extremely funny. It only cost $20 and as soon as you play it you will start to laugh out loud. The levels are great, you never die and is perfect for all ages.

It's fun to play and a friend can join and drop out anytime. If you have to turn it off before that you'll have to play the level again. There is so many ways to play the game. You'll be amazed. I wish you could control the camera view.

The game was purchased for my Son, but after watching him play the adventure, I started playing it more and more. The game is just like the trilogy, exciting every time.

This game follows all the stories of the trilogy with lots of little hidden surprises. Of course, if you are used to the Lego series you know what to expect. I enjoyed it because it wasn't too violent or bloody like some other games and when my kids are around I don't have to explain any gore because there is none. The episodes are challenging enough and because it's Lucas, some Star Wars references are also placed in the game. My only complaint is the loading from episode to episode in the Free Play mode because it follows Indy's path on the map like in the movies when he travels.

I picked up this game because the Lego Star Wars game for the DS and Wii was so entertaining. After playing it for the past couple of weeks, I can honestly say this one edges out its Star Wars brother. The best part about this game is the mix of action (running, jumping, climbing, etc) with the puzzles. There's a good balance of both with more puzzles in this one than in Lego Star Wars game. Although the game uses both the standard Wii remote and the Nunchuck, the controls are simple and straight forward with on screen cues to guide you at times. Both the action and the puzzles are challenging enough for adults but not so challenging that my kids (7 and 9) couldn't master them. To top things off, the cut scenes are humorous with a few making me laugh out loud. The game covers the first three movies of the Indiana Jones franchise so you get hours of play out of the thing. Couple the long play with the fact that the price of other games being $10-$20 higher and it's easy to see that this game is a steal.

I'm glad these Lego adventure games are getting cheaper. My family bought this game for me last year for $50. Though not as great as Lego Star Wars or Lego Batman, this game is good fun for a fan of either the Lego adventure games or of the Indiana Jones movies.

Indiana Jones is sweet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's multiplayer and the stories are so fun!!!!!!!!!! There are three stories. I knew most of them cause I watched a lot of the movies. But the thing is after you beat it, it's boring. Other then that I LOVE this game! I highly recomend on people buying it!

I bought this game because my husband loves Lego's and Indiana Jones. He thought he wouldn't like it and instead LOVES it. Would recommend playing as two players instead of one if possible.

I purchased this after loving LEGO Star Wars...I must admit I was a little disappointed with LEGO Indiana Jones. It is extremely easy to collect "LEGO pieces" to get the status "True Adventurer"...unlike Star Wars where you really had to work at collecting them to reach "True Jedi". Overall this game is fun but at times a little boring.

Having beaten the main levels so far, I have to say Indiana Jones was a vast disappointment for me. I adored Star Wars, but Jones is missing things that really appealed to me. The biggest fail I found was the lack of things to do in the home area. In Star Wars there were so many things (and people!) to chop and shoot, but you can't even attack people in the college. I know that seems small to most people, but I got a lot of enjoyment from beating up Jar Jar Binks over and over again. Also, I found the mailing packages to earn the extras frustrating. I feel like I can play Jones for twice as long as Star Wars and come away with so much less accomplished. The levels were extremely long, and we experienced a few glitches with the PS3 version also. The characters were not as exciting and individual as Star Wars either. To me it felt as though they did not spend as much time and effort on this game as the previous Lego game. Overall, it's a great game for kids, and as an adult it was ok, but if the next Lego game is this disappointing, I may just be done with Lego games.

This game holds true for following the path of all three original movies. The Lego movie scenes are pretty comical. The control for this game is pretty good, you just have to get used to it a little bit. There are plenty of secret items to be found as you play the levels. It gives you the ability to play any character you earned or bought after you complete that level.

My 10 yr nephew also finds the game a lot of fun and we are curerntly competing to see who will beat the game first with the highest completed percentage. Two player function is something I haven't used just yet but will once I beat the game.

I would highly recommend this game for it's play & entertainment. You will not finish this game quickly, each level takes an average of an hour to complete and there are a bunch a levels to keep you busy.

Pros: Easy to play, Funny, True to the Movies
Cons: Too Short
I had the pleasure of playing through this whole game in coop mode with my wife. We both really enjoyed it and played all the way up to 100%. The graphics were quite nice and the humor was spot on. It certainly brought back memories of all the classic Indiana Jones movies and even encouraged us to watch them all over again. My main complaint is it's a tad too short. We blew through the stories in just a few hours, so we spent most of our time collecting treasures and mailboxes. It wasn't too hard to reach 100%, but it was a good time none-the-less. It's probably not worth $50, but easily worth $40 or less.

Pretty much every level in Raiders is fun, Temple Of Doom is awesome! And Last Crusade is kind of boring. There is over 60 characters in the game! You can use Indy's whip for just about everything!

My sister and I had a lot of fun playing this game together but it didn't take long to beat and after that it got old. Enjoyed it for the time being though. Follows the actual movies pretty closely I could recognize the scenes thought that was cool. One complaint is that its all button pushing, for the wii some movements should be incorporated.

Pretty funny so far, the cut-scenes are what make this game. Puzzles are starting to get a little more tricky, but nothing too hard yet.
