I can say that I have nothing but the best luck with this software. I'm using Windows Vista. Maybe I'm one of the few who prefers Vista to XP, but I like the visual aspect of the OS and how Easy Media blends right in. Vista itself though doesn't seem to have a huge leap from the folder tree. Easy Media also uses this tree to see the media files but there is the option of switching to media type. With this mode I can see all the video, photo, audio files at once. If only the default was set this way but I think most people seem to like the tradtional Windows folder view.
Features are packed. If you are like me and have older media it doesn't take much to make it into modern formats. The Pinnacle video converter will work with this suite and transfer video footage into digital. There's no getting around playing in real time though. Good thing the conversion only takes a little longer than the playing time. Of course I want to edit and tag the video. I've used cinemagic so that

I bought this package to download DVD's to an IPOD Classic for my daughter. It seemed to have the best reviews and was an application that had been around for some time and had be recently updated. What a mistake! The instructions booklet must have been written for Vista, because it had no relevance for XP. The application itself is not intuative and the instructions were useless. I guess I could have spent a couple of hours reading every page of the manual and then going through every tutorial, but for $70 I am just throwing it out.
I ended up buying 1ClickDVDtoIpod after trying it out. I know Creator 10 is suppose to do so much more, but life is too hectic without wasting hours to download a couple of movies. Maybe some folks have the time to learn Creator 10, but for those of you that have a life (family, bills, jobs...) - I would strongly suggest looking somewhere else.
