I recently purchased two of these for my 2 daughters. They said they loved them and they use them all the time. I knew they would love them . I love seeing the pictures too. I love shopping at Overstock.

it worked for what i needed, but soon enough i was having problems. The battery life is only adequate as well as the sound. The feature i loved most was that there was a second place for head phones, so when my friends and I both were listening we didn't have to deal with sharing headphones. Once you learn how to use the buttons (it took me about an hour) it gets easier, But for the Price for this type of player it was excellent (it doesn't charge you an arm and a leg for something that is only mediocre). But if you want something long term, i would not suggest getting this i would suggest a zune, or an ipod. This Mp3 gave out on my after about 6 months use. But it still gave me plenty of time to save up for my new one!!

just love this device. For the money and features who needs a ipod. maybe for a bit older people it does all that we need. especially like how it tapes from the fm radio. i go to conventions that broadcast on the fm radio for the hearing impared and its great that i can tape with no background noise.

I love my Rockmee, I take it everywhere now. You can save the volume level by using the Esc key and for turning off and on. The drag and drop features are simple and easy to use. Since there is no special program to add music, you can basically add songs from anyone's computer. The earbud headphones are the best I've seen, and I hate earbuds!!! I just wish the transfer cord was longer. But the extras like the jogging armband, external speaker and 2 headphone ports far outweigh the players limitations. I LOVE IT!!!

After owning an ipod and Sansa I was looking for an additional player to have for my own special stuff. This has more than met my expectations! Very easy to upload "Windows Media Player" and for the price you can't beat it. The only thing I found that it has a very short battery life.

This mp4 player looks good. It has good features but I am having a challenging time getting videos. I have had it for quite a while now and I am yet discover how. I am in need of assistance but dont know where to get some. I like it but it would be better if songs were in alphabetical order. Overall it is ok but needs adjustments.

I ENJOY MY MP3, MUSIC,BUT IS HAVING A DIFFICULT TIME COPYING VIDEO. I ALSO HAVE A DIFFICULT TIME TRYING TO ERASE MUSIC NO LONGER WANTED. THIS IS MY FIRST MP3/4. THE APPEARANCE IS BREATH TAKEN. I PLAN TO KEEP IT,,. I STILL RATE THE ITEM BEING THE BEST, ESPECIALLY, SINCE I HAVE SHOPPED AROUND BEFORE PURCHASING IT..

I was pretty excited when i 1st started using this mp3/mp4 player. A few months after I started using it the battery life seemed to get shorter and shorter. Now I can't play music on it for longer than 15 minutes. The buttons are cheap but the picture WAS ok, that is when i could look at things long enough to actually see it. It just dies on me now. I wouldn't recommend this item to anyone.

As with other comments left by other people, the only flaw that this product has, is that it is a little difficult to operate. But once you get the hang of it, its fine. Audio sounds great and video is pretty good too.

I was really loving this player while it worked. Good points: sharp video playback, 4 GB memory, roughly 8 hour battery life, decent earphones (not earbuds!) thay you will actually want to use. The bad: slightly confusing controls, control markings which literally rub off the first time you touch them, the volume strangely defaults to the loudest setting rather than remembering where you last left it, so you get blasted every time. The worst thing? It died after two weeks, during which I probably used it 6 or 7 days.

Much better then an IPod, definately. All you have to do is drag and drop your files to the correct folder, and your all set! Plus, I love the Ebook function and use it to read all kinds of stuff on the go. The music/video quality is excellent, the games are fun, definately a great buy.

Looking for a MP3 player for a tween, and this one seems to work fine. At first we couldn't charge it, then learned a few things from a friend who got it working. The instruction manual wasn't so helpful. The plug in travel charger does not work. It seems to be just enough the one who has it, and the price was fair.

I had this player for almost three weeks and I am very satisfied with it. The program that came with it to convert video to avi works great after reading the instruction booklet. I was very impressed with the quality of the video because I was able to read the subtitle of foreign movies. I haven't figure out how to work the ebook feature but will soon find out how. However; on the negative side the buttons are not soft to the touch and not very responsive and the battery life is a little short for my standard. Overall, this is a good buy if you want a portable media player that can play musics and movies.

I love this gadget! All my favorite tunes, downloaded with the greatest of ease! Sleek, yet easy to use it with my arthritic hands! My nephew, an ITT graduate and electronic guru as well as a DJ for hire was really impressed and told me it was a great deal! I agreed and bought it. The Rock Me even came with it's own carry case, so it is easy to use and to take with me as I walk about, or as I sit and wait. The Rock Me MP3/MP4 is defiantly good buy!

As I read through the reviews for similar mp3 players, I came to the conclusion that I would try this one out. It was a gift for my 16 year old daughter, so it was a tough decision. With all the other poular brands out there ( I think you know which brands I'm talking about) I really didn't want to dissapoint her. So when we received the package in the mail, (which was shipped promptly) she opened it up and immediatly set out to figure out all the buttons and features. A few hours later she came downstairs from her bedroom with a big smile on her face and was extremely excited. That tells the whole story, but it continues with all her friends that own the other brand. They examined the MEElectronics RockMee 4GB MP3 / MP4 Player and couldn't believe there eyes. They ALL wanted to know where she got it from and the price. So needless to say the gift was a great sucess and what a bargain at that. To all readers out there, this mp3mp4 player is well worth the money. You need no special "anything"

After getting my son to download over 200 songs for me, I've been in heaven. It's what I've been looking for, for taking my walks and work outs. Thinking of buying another as a gift.

Didn't work straight out of the box. Left if charging for over 3 hours to no avail. Did read the whole manual,but no help there neither.No sign of life whatsoever. No technical support number to call on manual.Sad.

When I first odered this product, the item sent did not work at all. However, a quick phone call to the manufacturer's customer service solved things within 3 days, as they mailed me a new RockMee. It seems to work pretty well through Windows Media Player for music; I have not tried using the special video conversion software yet. The earbuds do provide a higher quality sound than I would have guessed, and I am very pleased with them overall. I would definitely say that it is not as user-friendly as it could be, but overall I am pleased with it.

This was an okay thing but I really wouldnt tell someone to get it.... The battery does not last long at all for me. I can play like 3 songs before it dies... and the buttons have an odd layout because one is at the top/side. and its okay I guess. nothing great..

If you want to save some money for something good i would advise not to buy this. It has to be the worst thing i have boughten. Well actually i got it for christmas and i wish i wouldnt have asked for it. It was perfect for about a month and a half and the warrenty was only 1 months wow what a product

Love the mp3 didn't realize how much I would use it! Stores pictures for showing to others, love the music can't wait to download podcasts! The battery lasts forever! Love it!!!

In overall the RockMee 4GB MP3 is OK. The only negative thing that I have to say about it is that the photos features is not really good, the pictures does not look clear. But the sound is excellent.

This was a birthday gift for my husband , and was replacing an Ipod. He loves it , it is much easier to use , download songs etc. The sound and video quality are just great.

This product is amazing. I have purchased three of them so far, one for everyone in the family, and will soon get one for myself. The dispay clarity is amazing. It is very easy to use, and downloading music is a synch. No rocket scientist needed to operate it. Very Impressed!!!! I highly recommend this over the IPOD. Let just say, you get more for less dollars.

This is a really cool product, sleek and small, very light and overall okay video and sound quality, The only problem I have with it is the way it organizes my music, very hard to find the song you want. The buttons are quite hard to get used to and as a review before me said, the games are very hard to play with the weird keypad. Otherwise everything else plays very well, the cd that came with it works good turning any video files into avi. mp4 compatible. It's so cute watching videos on it! The best feature is the extra space able to use with a sd card.

Bad: I have to say that I have been less than impressed with this MP3 player. I have used my friends and they are so much easier to use. It does not navigate well and the software is terrible. It will not save playlists and does very random organization of my music.
The games and tools are not usable.
Good: It was really cheap for how much I can put on here. It is also quite durable.

I love my mp3 player but will admit that the instructional manual is not very user friendly. If you have problems call technical support and they are fantastic. I like the fact that it came with an arm band and pouch for the economical price I payed. I had everything I needed upon arrival.

I just received this device today and I've been playing with it since I got it charged.
Transfering files from PC to MP3 is extremely easy and illustrated well in the handbook. The sound quality and earbuds are fantastic!
There seemed to be a few bugs with the playlist, charge, and connection to my PC at first but it worked itself out and all is well and running.
The controls are definitely touchy and a bit confusing, but after messing with it a bit it's not so hard.
Overall this is worth the cost but could use some improvements. I would recommend this to anyone with a little patients.

I have only had this item for a couple of weeks and not used all the features yet. The quick start instructions helped me load mp3 songs quite successfully and the sound is GREAT with the included earbuds. The controls are fairly easy to master but I still need to read the extended manual to fully enjoy all the functions of my new toy.

Overall the item is very nice. My 13 year old set it up. The only complaint he had was it doesn't have a speaker and the AVI was a pain to use but it was worth taken the time to use on the video files. Would I purchase or recommend it to someone else the answer is YES.

This unit works well. I've loaded music, an audio book, and an e book on it and have used the radio. It takes a while to master the controls. I still don't understand how you mark a place in an audio book, for example, so that when you turn off the machine and turn it on again you return the place where you left off. A good value considering you get a charger, a pouch for the machine, earphones, and an arm band. My audio and ebook are from common domain providers because this company has no agreement with audible.com, for example. So I'm limited in the kinds of downloads I can do. But the machine will accept any mp3 file.

I never even heard of an MP3 player until about a week before I purchased this item. The software is so simple I had my unit working instantly. I got a free converter program on the web and within two days I had hundreds of cds converted AND placed into my MP3 player! The customer service is also excellent to deal with. My unit came without earphones and within 24 hours (honestly!!) I had a new pair arrive in the mail. The ease of use, the quality of sound and the customer service are all top rate. Also the quality of photo reproduction is top rate. And I am VERY particular about my photos!!

This player combines great features, exceptional value and ease of use into one package.
The Large screen makes the menus easy to read. Navigation is pretty straightforward and the sound and video quality is fantastic.
The conversion software for video took a little time to master as did figuring out how to work the fm tuner.
It syncs really well with Windows Media Player which makes downloading your MP3's really easy.
For the price this MP3 player cant be beat!

got this for my son for X-mas, 1st one i got didn't right at all. My son very disappointed, Call overstock explain problem they sent me another one. Son very happy with the unit. He likes it, But he hasn't try the vedio. He said the vedio that was playing was in Japaniese,

I received my Rock Me as a Christmas present I love it. It's easy to load songs and video. The clarity is awesome. I love to listen to it while I run. I can watch movies on trips. The sleek design is a plus. A+ all the way. Thank you Overstock .com for helping make my Christmas wish come true. I couldn't find one around here.
