iHome Dual Alarm Clock Radio iPhone
Pros: Nothing; my ihome clock radio didn't work
Cons: Both original and replacement unit didn't work
Don't waste your money on an ihome product. I bought an iD91 clock radio for my wife to use as an alarm and to listen to music with her iphone. Right out of the box, the buttons on the unit did not work. This resulted in the alarm going off in the middle of the night, which woke the baby, and would not shut off until we not only unplugged the unit but removed the batteries too. I returned the product to Best Buy did an exchange for a replacement. I brought that one home, plugged it in, and the LCD display is so dim it cannot be read in anything but total darkness. The dimmer button, which is supposed to adjust the brightness, does not work, so the replacement unit is useless and is going back to Best Buy tomorrow. Thanks iHome for wasting my time!! At least I will get my money back.

Pros: Easy To Use
Replaced a 20 year old dial-tuned clock radio. Spent an hour+ at Best Buy looking at all the brands/options (of which there are far too many). Finally settled on this unit and have been using it for a month and am very pleased. Here are some of the things I like:
1) Only six pre-set stations - who listens to more than six radio stations on a clock radio? The equivalent Philip's model had 20 pre-sets and I thought how annoying to have to scroll through 20 for the three to which I normally listen.
2) I rarely listen to my iPhone on my clock radio, but the automatic syncing of time and day to the iPhone saves so much time sitting there with your finger on the fast forward button.
3) When you set the alarm, you can select the station and the volume, regardless of what you were last listening to on the radio. I'm actually using the clock radio a lot more than the old one because I can listen to whatever I want at any volume, and not be blasted out of the bed in the morning because I forgot to reset the radio.
4) When you set the alarm, you can select it to go off on only weekdays, only weekends or all seven days. This saves you from being awakened early Saturday morning because you forgot to turn off the alarm.
5) Dimming the clock is really easy.

Pros: Speedy Setup, Sound Quality (great bass & clarity)
Cons: Bit pricey but definitely worth the money
I am a college student looking for a LOUD alarm clock. I can sleep through anything, but I can't sleep through this! I tried out every single alarm clock in the Best Buy store with my ipod, playing songs with heavy bass (dubstep/rock) and this one blew all of the others out the water for sound clarity. It is really the Dr. Beats of alarm clocks. The 3D sound option is wonderful - I keep it on all the time.

Pros: Dock/Charger for iPhone, easy to use
I bought this primarily for the clock radio feature but love docking and charging my iPhone while using it to play my phone's iPod. The base is fabulous, the surround sound is great and an added bonus - my iPhone 4 fits on the dock with the case ON!! No more fumbling or hassling with removing the case...

I bought this for college and started using it a little before, and I absolutely fell in love with it. it's loud enough to jam to yet quiet enough to fall asleep to. greatest ihome ever

Nice alarm clock. You can wake up to iPod, radio or buzz. At least 5 options for the display brightness. Handy remote control. I purchased the extended warranty because where you plug the iPod into seems a bit delicate. Overall, well made.
