I bought the SanDick Sansa Clip because I was having difficulties with my older SanDisk MP3 Player on my service (Rhapsody) I did not want to buy another SanDisk product. However this unit (SanDisk Sansa Clip) was reccommended by Rhapsody and has proven to be an excellent choice. The only thing I am not wild about are the ear buds, Too Big. I have a set of JVC Ear buds that I use and everything is great!

Pros
- Looks great. Size is ok, clip worked ok for me.
- Recording feature is also great.
- I thought the sound was good as well.
Cons
- Won't hold a charge (after 1 month).
- Won't charge at all (after 3 months).
- I cannot read the display unless I am in a dark room.
- Controls are slightly awkward. Power is a little hard to do, volume is too easy. You can't pick it up without accidentally clicking something.
Menu system is odd. I am used to something than can browse like a file system as well. It doesn't work that way for this - it is hard to find what I wanted to play.
Too late to return this. I'm throwing it away.

I have no problems at all after 4 weeks of ownership. There are 488 songs on it, fidelity is good, not great (but then good was what I was expecting), the published time between charges of 15 hours seem correct, and the FM tuner works well. I loaded it up by simply dragging and dropping CD albums...what could be easier? I use the device to play through the MP3 port in my car (via a cable I bought at Radio Shack), while charging with the automobile charger I bought at Amazon. Playing through the car stereo system is when you notice that the sound quality is good, not great. However, with AM, FM, XM, and CD available in the car, I'm not using the MP3 player that much.

I saw this device in Women's Health Magazine and it was recommended as being a top pick for fitness. I agree completely. It is TINY - about the length of the average thumb and 1 1/2 times the width of a thumb. The depth is similar to a matchbook. I clip it on the top of my tank or sports bra and I can't even tell it's there.
The interface is pretty easy to use. On the backend (in the computer) I use windows media player to set up playlists, then I drag those playlists into the sync folder for the Sansa Clip. It synchronizes very quickly and the music is easy to find on the machine - can be by playlist, song, artist, etc.
The sound is good. I have some Sony earbuds that I use with all devices (because I have small ears) and they sound fine. I'm not jumping up and down about the sound though. I'm sure everyone who listens to music while exercising would agree that in some songs there are points where the bass/chorus/etc. kicks in and it gives you an extra boost of energy to

Very small but easy to use all controls. The 'clip' is a nice feature while exercising (walking for me!) keeps it in your pocket or whatever. Works well with Windows Media Player so adding or deleting files is no problem. The battery seems to last me a week or more - using the player about an hour or two a day.

About a month ago, I bought my first Sansa Clip 2 GB to use while running. I was definitely impressed by the player out of the box. Great sound quality, and jam packed with features for a low price. The one thing that I did have slight problem with was the weak headphones, the shielding for the cord has seperated from the plug and the headphones probably won't last much longer.
As I said before, I bought my Sansa Clip to run with. I figured that a player with a built in clip would be great to use, since I would not have to worry about carrying it or having somewhere to put it. Well, it turns out that it's not quite that simple.
My first clip lasted about two weeks. It stopped functioning properly during a run. Apparently, my sweat had killed the player. Although it would still turn on when plugged in, it would not turn on when not plugged into the computer. So I had to get it replaced.
Obviously this time I sought a case for the Clip to keep it protected. This is where I ran into another

This little player was a big surprise to me. Have you ever seen a super tiny electronic device that seems to do more than is possible for it's tiny size? Well, this certainly fits into that category. To illustrate how tiny this thing is, the size of the circular dial on the front of it (the blue glowing circle) is slightly smaller than a quarter. The player itself is super thin too. So here are a few more reasons why this player is amazing:
Pros:
-Super Tiny and Thin
-Sound quality is great
-Built in Radio
-Built in Microphone
-Built in Clip (hence the name) and perfect for jogging
-Super bright 2 color Led Screen (it's probably organic LED)
-Plug & Play (at least it was for me)... just like a USB drive
-Long lasting internal battery (my guess is at least 8 hours play time)
-Charges through standard Mini-usb to USB cable.
-Amazing price for all the features it includes.
Cons:
I honestly don't have anything bad to say about this player, and I swear that I don't work for Sandisk. I kind

I bought this product for my husband and it has worked great so far. The only thing that he didn't like about it is that there is no shuffle. When he turns it on it starts from the beginning and goes in order. Because of this he doesn't get to listen to all the songs that he puts on because he never gets to them. He has to change the songs every night so that he is not listening to the same thing over and over. Other than that there are no problems with the MP3 player.

A great little player for audio files. It is not for video. I use it for ebooks, financial reports downloaded from the net and music. It has enough volume to work well in noisy environments. The display is bright and easy to read. The controls are simple and self evident. It is thin and light - size is a little bigger than a pack of matches and can either slip in your shirt pocket or clip to clothing using the sturdy spring clip attached to the back. Great for the gym. Battery life seems good - it charges while I download things to it so cant comment on total life other than to say I played it 6 hours straight on a long trip and it still had a lot of life left. I have a few players and this one is my favorite.

I bought it as a gift for my fiance. He already had another sansa MP3 player, but it had a few bite marks in it (no not me, the dog..) and it was the kind you can put on a thin lanyard and wear around your neck. He primarily used it for working out,so sometimes it was in the way. I found the @ Overstock for a decent $ and he just loves it. It's even easier to use than the previous one and he claims the sound quality is better. He liked it so much I bought myself one too.

I love this little MP3 player. The 3 line display is priceless and the menus are all very intuitive. You can fit a ton of songs on it and the voice recorder has nice crisp quality. It charges fairly fast and is, to me, the perfect player for everything from grocery shopping to the gym.

i bought this player after reading reviews here and at cnet. this is spot on music quality of players more expensive. the fm player inside doesn't revceive stations very well but that's not the point of buying one of these. the earbuds are decent, better than other included headsets. i'm going to upgrade them to match the sound quality. the screen is very bright and clear with very simple menus to sort the playlists. fingerprints and smudges can be seen after touching it even if your hands are clean. it feels a bit plasticy the directional wheel has no raised indicators of forward/ backwards or pause.

This is the longest MP3 my son can use. He was used 3 other brands of MP3 but he did not likes them .But he verry happy with this SanDisk Sansa Clip 2GB MP3 .Easy to use , small enough and look nice .I like it too.

When I received this product (in record time, thanks Overstock!) I was AMAZED at how small this is - maybe twice as big as an iPod shuffle, but with the 3 line display and the option to create a play list on the player itself this is a substantially better piece of equipment. And it's little-bitty! It clips on to my purse strap or waist band with practically no weight. I had some brief problems when the screen froze up, and I had to do a hard reset 3 or 4 times to fix it, but that has been the only problem. Also, make sure you update your media player. However, as I made my way through the early getting-to-know-you technical set up, I had reason to check into Sansa's customer service and call them - PHENOMENAL! Take a look at their website before you buy - their customer service hours by phone are fantastic, they were very helpful when I spoke with them, and they didn't charge for the assistance (they're the ones who told me I had to update Windows Media.)

I was impressed with the sound quality and battery life of the Sandisk Sansa. It's a little too small for my tastes; I find it getting lost inside my purse quite often. But if you like a smaller MP3 player, this is a pretty good unit, and the price was right on.

I DID NOT GET A CHANCE TO USE THE MP3 PLAYER. IT WAS DEFECTIVE. HAD TO BE SENT BACK. MAYBE FIND A WAY TO MAKE SURE THE PRODUCT WORKS BEFORE IT LEAVE THE WAREHOUSE. I KNOW THEY ARE PRE PACKAGED AND SEALED. BUT THERE MUST BE A WAY TO CHECK THE PRODUCT BEFORE IT LEAVES. THE CURENT ITEM WAS OUT OF STOCK SO A NEW ONE COULD NOT BE SENT OUT. THANKS

this little player is SOOO easy to use, download and play back. I't small but so easy to travel with. Great for use on a flight. Sound Quality is GREAT !

Once I learned how to navigate Windows Media Player, loading the player was easy. It also took me a few days to learn how to navigate around the MP3 player but after that it was very easy to use. The sound is good and I like the portability. Delivery time from time of order to home was very fast. I am quite pleased with the whole experience.

I was looking for something inexpensive and I found it! This is great quality. Although it is small, I put a pink cover on mine to find it easier. It is a little hard to learn how to use, but then again I have never had a MP3 player before. Great for walking outdoors! Love it!

The sound quality is better than my Ipod. It's very easy to add songs. The equalizer and FM radio are just icing on the cake. If it had more memory, it would be perfect.

I love the color of it along with being able to clip it onto my shirt; I use this gadget to relax at bedtime. I can just clip it onto my nightshirt or pajama top, and away I go. Loading music onto this thing was a cinch too, and should this thing get low on juice, I can just charge it up on my computer; it charges up in no time at all.

This is a great little player with easy to understrand controls and more memory than we'll ever use (at least for audio). Instructions are clear and concise.

Very easy to use, music transfers over so simpily. Very compact and easy to carry anywhere. Uses standard size headphones so no need for an adapter.
I am not sure if I am charging it correctly. I can't get the battery to charge as long as it says it should be.

I purchased this specifically to use when I run. It is perfect--light and small! Very easy to sync songs, and the features are good. No batteries needed, since it charges directly through your computer (USB port), and it lasts a long time. I am really satisified with this player!

My mom and I bought this mp3 to give to my dad so he didn't need to buy an ipod but it doesnt work. Its very small and cute which is about the only thing I like about it! I uploaded a couple songs on to it and then it never let me again. It doesnt want to recognize any other computer and you can only see the music files it brought with it.

This is the first mp3 player I've ever owned and I bought it because it was relatively inexpensive and was designed for people who want to use it while they workout. I did have problems with it at first so I went to the Sandisk site and downloaded all the latest firmware versions for it and it worked flawlessly after that. The menus are very intuitive and easy to use. The sound quality is pretty impressive for a cheaper player.

This is a great little mp3 player. When I first saw how tiny it was I thought it would be hard to press the buttons but its not. Music sounds great on this thing. I originally had the blue one but it was defective. The battery wouldn't hold a charge. Apparently this is a common problem and lots of people end up getting a new one. My new one works fantastic and I haven't had any problems. I've had it for about a month and a half now. My only gripe is that you can't replace the battery.

Although this product is much smaller than expected (about 1.5 x 1) this product did not dissapoint me in any way! All you do is drag songs over to the mp3 player and you are done! It is also super cute in my opinion with it's neon retro lighting and clip on feature for your waistband!
Basically what I wanted was a small mp3 player that was easy to use and had a screen to view names of artists and songs... and that's what I got!!!! I bought this player for a friend who isn't very technologically advanced by now I want one of my own to replace my ipod haha. Super wonderful product!!!

Perhaps 5 stars are warranted and I (as a novice to MP3 players) could handle this player with even more ease than I already do. I enjoy it thoroughly and have little to complain.

I was looking at getting a less expensive mp3 player to use in the gym. After reading the reviews for all of the different options, I decided on the Sandisk Clip because it received the best reviews. I'm not disappointed at all with my decision. I use it more than I thought I would. It's a great little product if you don't feel like dropping $150+ on an I-Pod.

This MP3 player is so small but it's packed with features and is very easy to use. I just cliked and draged my music into the folder for the player on my computer. It plays WMA's too!
