These ear buds are amazing for the price. They surpass the skullcandy full metal jackets i replaced easily. The bass response is incredible. Its very strong but not at all overbearing. There is a very nice balance of the overall sound. The noise isolation is on par with most other ear buds in this price range. Nothing to brag about at least. The comfort they brag about is actually really good. After listening to these for a few hours I didn't have any discomfort and when i took them out it didn't feel like I had been wearing ear buds at all. Mine came with 3 sets of different tips although i've seen it say it comes with 4 other places but I only use 1 so i don't care. My only concern is that the cord seems a little flimsy and the case they came with isn't that portable. They do come with a 2 year warrenty but after reading the specifics it seems like they don't really intend on you being able to return these unless there is a serious manufacturer's problem. In my opinion its not a selling

I had to wait three weeks for these things to ship, but the wait was worth it. The range is great, the ear gels block out almost all other noise, and the base response rattles the back of my eyeballs a little. Also, the price is very good for the quality of sound produced. The only thing that might be an issue for some people is the size/shape of the buds. they are a bit big, but they come with three different sizes/shapes of gels which should help most people. They fit perfectly in my ears, but the size issue was the biggest complaint in the reviews I read before buying

That bag hanging in my closet, yes the one with all the wires hanging out, is the headphone graveyard. I've tried most of them: BlueTooth, Nose, unSure, Toothless, you name it. These are the best so far. The sound is the first grabber. Crisp, clear, I heard details other headphones miss, classic rock and in choral music. Then, the comfort. They're very light, very small, nicely curved, and among the most comfortable out there. The isolation is good, maybe too good. If there's any drawback, they're not suitable for use in situations where you want to be aware of ambient sound, e.g. traffic. Don't use on a bicycle. For these headphones, good sound requires a good seal, so only plan on using them when your iPod is all you want to hear. Carry these plus the standard iPod/iPhone "whites" and you'll have everything you need.

OK so let me start by saying i had written the most EPIC review comparing both the s4 and the x10's from when i opened them to a month after.....but somehow it didnt go through apparently; so screw writing another long EPIC one. keep this in mind as im not puttin nearly as much efford as i had put in my previous one but the points are made. ugh i dont even wanna do this again :( im so disapponted. Image X10 pt.1 ($350) came in a pro looking case and had great full/rich sound with tons of bass and the size of a quarter. Got them, then turned the volume up and they CRACKLED like crazy so i had to return them (UGH). now i know these were freaking tiny and stuff so i would have allowed some distortion at high volumes but this was straight up crackling from the left earphone. so while these were shipping out and junk i got the S4 in the mail as i had apparently bought them a while back but they were backordered. Image S4 ($80) so the image s4's come in a "tin can" case not as fancy but

My Shure E4c's broke and I was looking for a cheap alternative. I read about this earphones on CNET and they praised the audio quality, saying that it matched those that were 2-3x their cost in quality. Boy were they wrong... These are NOT pro-grade! They are absolutely horrible. My Sony earphones that came with my NWZ-A800-series MP3 Player sounds better! I expected a lot from a company like Klipsch. How can they release such a shoddy product? The treble, mid, and bass all sound muddy. The bass overpowers the mid (somewhat fixable through EQ). It's just not a good listening experience. I replaced the earbud with the custom one that I have for my Shure E4c's (thinking it was the lack of airtight seal), but nope. It still sounds bad. I will be returning this ASAP and buying one of the Shure SE-series. AVOID THIS PRODUCT!

I recently bought these earphones to replace a set of UltimateEars 5Pro that had recently broken, and I can say, without any hesitation, that they are the best all-around earphones I have ever used. for the purposes of this review I will compare the x10 mainly to the 5pro, although I also have experience with several models of the Sennheiser open-ear headphones. Sound While I spend a good deal of time listening to music through earphones, I don't necessarily consider myself an audiophile. Basically I just want something that has a full balanced sound and no obvious flaws. Both the 5pro and the x10 fit this bill. Although the x10 at first seemed more reserved and maybe even a little thin, I came to appreciate its subtleties and found that it retained more clarity and balance at higher volumes. The biggest difference is that the x10 creates a better and more consistent seal in the ear - or at least my ear - which means superior fullness and isolation without constant adjustment. Comfort

I have had many earphones and I find these to be great fitting and comfortable and they stay in your ears while working out. The sound is fantastic and realistic. You should try these if you have had problems with sound quality with other headphones. You won't be disappointed.

Finest sound I ever heard in a headphone. Details from the same music and source come alive. It's like buying a new collection. I bought another set. I had a problem with the first pair and Klipsch replaced it. This review is for the X-10. Why are reviews for different headphone models mixed together?

I just received these Klipsch Image S4s tonight, and have such been taking the time of sampling a few different tracks. I am thoroughly taken aback by this product, and would recommend it highly. Some key points: - The bass is near perfect, very clear and pristine - The noise reduction is pretty good - The sound sounds great all around - comes through very clearly. - The price tag of $70 for this sound seems about the perfect price (CNET review raved about this, and I can see why) - Finally, it's hard to mass market ear canal phones that will fear your ears COMPLETELY perfectly. I personally am using the wider ones and it isn't too deep in my ear so it's staying comfortable but still is remaining a good noise reduction. For $70, I'd say it's worth it. It's not that big of a dent into your wallet, and gives you a tease of the high end line.

I've spent a fair amount of time with these, and I have to say, they do sound great -- when I have 'em jammed in my ears *just* right. And there's the issue. While these are, by a huge margin, the best-sounding earbuds I've ever tried, they still suffer from the same issues as any other earbuds. They don't always stay in place, and even a slight movement will adversely affect the sound quality. (I find that the trick of arranging the wire behind my head and over my shoulder helps, but it's still not perfect.) Also, when they do stay in, they can get uncomfortable after a while. They're quite comfortable as earbuds go, but stick anything in your ear for more than an hour or so and you're going to notice it. On the plus side, three different sets of rubber end shells are included. They're easy to swap, but they attach securely and won't fall off. Having tried all three, I find the small (which are a slightly different shape) and the large to be more comfortable than the medium, with

I love these earphones. They are, by far, the most comfortable ear phones I have ever worn. They fit wonderfully, and there is no danger of them falling out when take my brisk walks (something I have had to deal with, repeatedly, with other brands!). Besides the comfort factor, the quality of the sound is amazing. I love being able to really feel the bass tones of my favorite music. I would definitely recommend these to anyone who is looking for maximum comfort without sacrificing the quality of the sound of the earphones. These are perfect!

After seeing a glowing review of the new Image S4 headphones on Cnet, I had to dive in and purchase the day of release from Amazon. I have Bose In-ear headphones and these just flat out blow those away. At $75.00 I cannot imagine that anything can compare to this sound quality. The sound is incredibly well balanced and the fit and comfort is perfect.

Positives:
1) Price/Sound Quality Ratio. Great full sound with excellent bass, but not too deep like the Bose. Great mid and high level's excellent for all different types of music.
2) Comfort: They come with a case and several different sizes of in ear plastic. The Bose headphones had plastic that came off all the time and if you lost them, you would have to find replacements. These will not come off unless you want them too. They feel good in your ear and comfortable.
3) Noise Isolation: Indeed these do an excellent job of isolating outside noise based upon the precise fit of the ear pieces.
4) Cord length: The cord is the

BRIEFLY:
=======
The IMAGE S4's are comfortable, wired, in-ear earphones that deliver surprisingly (to me) good quality sound while causing very little discomfort. The ear-tips fit inside the ear canal and muffle all but the loudest outside noise therefore making them an excellent 'at home' listening option but probably not recommended while driving or even walking. The 4 ft. long chord is perfect for listening off an iPod but may not be long enough if one wants to plug then into a computer.

THE LONG DISCUSSION:
====================

Personal bias and circumstances
-------------------------------
For the sake of honest disclosure, I do not consider myself an audiophile. I do listen to music and I do use earphones while in the office but most of my listening comes from open speakers. Since most of my listening is done either in the car or in the office where I must be aware of my surroundings, I will not use these earphones. This is GREAT news for my just-turned-teen kid who's jumping

This review is for the new IMAGE S4 Model.

I've used many different kinds of headphones and ear plugs in the past, including some that cost many times more than this set, and some that cost less than half. To say I'm addicted to headphones would be an understatement.

The reason I was interested in the S4s was because they were supposed to be comfortable, and have nice bass (was really interested in this). The isolation effect is sometimes appreciated, but for me, not a real requirement.

I have a very wide taste when it comes to music and my use of these earphones. I enjoy listening to brainwave beats, soundtracks (like battlestar galatica), as well as rock / metal and some rap on occasion.

Since these phones say they are good at bass, the first thing I did was put in some rap. I could honestly tell no bass. They sound quite weak (but not really any weaker than any other plugs I have, like the shures). I mention this because I don't want you buying these thinking you might get

The earbuds are a lot smaller than I initially thought, which is a good thing. The styling, look and build quality is what you would expect from a good name like Klipsch. I am more into HiFi speakers and not really headphones so I cant get too technical. But I have owned and used a pair of Shure E2C before as well as higher end ones like Audio Technica. The Klipsch compares very well to the E2C, although accurate I felt there was a lack of bass on the E2C which is much better on the Klipsch S4. Also the S4 is more comfortable for daily use. So at the end of the day I prefer the Klipsch S4. What really seals the deal is the S4 comes with a nice tin case and cleaner for the earbuds. The tin case is pretty nice and can also be used to store other things. The cleaner is also very useful. Both items are very minor things to mention but to me are important for daily use.

I used to own the Shure E500 which are amazing headphones but with a very poor cable that usually breaks after months of use. The great thing is that Shure has a two year warranty and they just replace them with a new pair, no questions asked. The other thing is that they don;t always stay in place in the ear and tend to fall off, this does not happen with the Klipsch Custom-2. You can bend the little piece that goes behind your hear for a perfect fit. I love the quality of the cable, it's not rubber so it won't cracked after being bent over and over behind your ear. I think the sound quality is good, slightly below the E500 but very good and they totally block the outside noise. One recommendation would be to have a shorter cable with an extension (like the Shure) to allow for using a mic accessory for iphone or other mobile phones. I would def. recommend this product.

This are, without question, the MOST comfortable in-ear headphones I have ever worn. The difference between the fit of these compared to other high-end earbuds is amazing! I have a pair of SE530s and have tried others such as the ER4-P, Triple.fi, and many others. I use to love switching back and forth between models and having them for different uses, but now after wearing the IMAGEs, I find myself disappointed when I am without them.

When I first used these, I thought they sounded a little muddy. The bass from the tiny things is unbelievable! Once I adjusted my EQ settings, they sounded fantastic. I would say that they aren't as accurate as the ER4-Ps or SE530s, but the comfort makes up for any accuracy they may be lacking!

The IMAGEs are very light weight and are hardly noticeable when you have them inserted properly. I prefer the two flanged tip over the single. I can get a proper seal every time, and they are very easy to take out and put back in. Nothing is more annoying
