Great case but beware plastic lip may not fit docks

My wife said I did great picking up these cases for the kid's nanos. We put them on right away and you can see a shiny unscratched nano underneath in a hard shell plastic case. That is exactly what you want. One problem though, if you have an iPod dock, it might not work. I can get it to work on some of my docks and not others. There is a small plastic lip that overhangs the front of the case so you have to remove the dock adapter and see if the connection will reach. It works on my iPod alarm clock without a snap in adapter and on one of my speakers but it doesn't work on my third dock. Look at your docks to see how far it protrudes. I can verify that the Omnivibe speaker doesn't reach (no sound and no charge) the Bushnell Itunes does, and the Luna Alarm Clock does. The case rocks, the lip is an achilles heel.

Great case for protectecting your 3g nano

The case does what it says. It's solid plastic. It protects everything. My only complaint: when it gets warm (like if it's left in the car) the rubber that protects the button wheel expands and makes navigation through the playlists difficult. If you plan on leaving the ipod in your car you might want to get something else. Worth the money when compared with some of the other cases though.
