Pros:
- Low price
- Includes a remote control.
- Accepts a number of memory cards. Has USB for flash thumbrdrives (don't tell me you don't have one)
- Play mp3 music for slideshow presentation
- You can adjust the time how long you want to view each picture on a slideshow
Cons:
- Not a pretty interface
- You may need to edit most of your pics to brighten them to make it acceptable for viewing
- Can't see the pics if you change your viewing angle
- Low resolution. Pics looks muddy.
The deal killer is the picture quality. Nice gift but won't buy it for myself.

This display frame looks great, problems with it are a killer for it though. It has a very poor manual which doesn't explain how to operate it, select its options or even how to get into the menus. When you find out how to get into the menus, you will find that the selections are very limited. I tried to upload pics from my computer to it with the included USB extension, it froze my computer every time. I went to their web site looking for some support, there was a FAQ which had the same stuff that was in the manual and only about 8 questions, no help, no support, no place for further instructions. I then went with a small card for my camera to upload pics, that went well except I had no idea how much memory I had left to load any more pics, or music. There is no monitor on memory usage.
This unit has only two options for viewing the pics, original and optimal. The original option leaves your pics displaying black lines on the sides and a loss of screen coverage of about 1/5th of the screen.

I have purchased 4 of these 7" frames over the span of a year. Out of those four, two were defective (one failed to turn on and the other couldn't read the contents of my SD card).
As an Electronics Engineer I purchased this frame because of the features (built-in memory, USB connection and support of two different memory cards) and the good price. This product proves once again that you get what you pay for.
The USB connection is real flaky. The product advertises that it can be connected to a PC with Win2k/XP and be viewed as external memory. That is simply not the case. Out of the 4 frames I purchased, only one was able to connect to either of my PC's (one with 2k and the other with XP).
Since I was unable to connect my PC to the remaining 3 frames, I thought that I would transfer the pics from the SD card to the internal memory. One of the 4 frames was not able to read the contents of my SD card.
The PanDigital "Support" is a joke. They have a "Download" link, but it isn't active

I got this as a gift form my mom. I loaded photos using a flash drive. I found it very easy to upload the photos and set up the slide shows. The quality of the photos is not the best but it is more than adequate for the price. My only complaint is the support on the back of the frame is weak and will need to be reinforced. The frame keeps falling backwards.
I hope this helps.

I'm using my own, separately purchased, 1GB SD card to hold more than 1,300 pictures which look great on this frame. (No distortion as many have said.) I'm giving this as a gift to my mother with pictures from family events through the years that I know she will appreciate. This is capable of playing mpeg videos but I haven't experimented much with that. I got movies to play in it, but I'm concentrating on still images.
How to:
Using iPhoto on my Mac I was able to create a "smart" photo album called "LCD Photos." Every photo that I gave that label automatically went into that album. I only selected photos shot in landscape layout, not portrait. I want each photo to completely fill the screen. (Portrait shots will be made much smaller with black on either side to fit within the LCD screen.)
Next, I selected all of the photos in the album. Then I exported all of them (menu FILE, EXPORT) to my desktop using the JPEG (Kind JPEG, Size Medium) setting. This setting may take some experimenting
