Targus Versavu 360 Stand iPad3
Pros: The 360 ability, sturdy, protective
Cons: Magnets stop working, don't work, go berserk in some cases...
Bought this in late August, everything was great! Magnets functioned properly with sleep/awake function. By late September, the magnets have stopped working (tried rotating, troubleshooting, they just don't work). Spoke to friend at work with same case and she showed me what happens to her iPad when she closes it for the sleep function. It started clicking wildly after she shut it and put it on her desk, like it was waking and sleeping constantly. click-click-click-click So she just has to shut hers down every time she closes the case and no longer uses her sleep/awake option. Eek! So, I felt a little better because at least my magnets just doesn't work at all anymore and so I just have to remember to put it to sleep before closing the case (and it doesn't go crazy like hers). Mine doesn't wake up automatically when I open the case anymore either. The case is strong, durable, protective, but bulky. I like the multiple views.

Targus Versavu 360 Stand iPad3
Pros: looks great, feels great, works great
Cons: stitching could be better quality
Great case, best I have used so far for the 3. Could give a little more attention to the detail. Once they design it with 3 interior positions it will be perfect. The exterior typing position requires the exterior of the case to be exposed to dirty surfaces and then transferred on to the screen when closed. For now it is the best solution. Hopefully Targus come out with the fix before their competition.

Targus Versavu 360 Stand iPad3
Pros: Landscape and portrait viewing, front and rear protection, stylus holder,
Cons: Wish is was real leather.
I like it. I was a little afraid of the bulk/weight but it isn't an issue. It is so convenient and easy to use you just don't notice any size or weight issues. Buy it.

Targus Versavu 360 Stand iPad3
Pros: 360 Swivel, Professional Look, Also Acts as a Stand
Cons: Elastic Band
This case has a great professional look for when you are meeting with clients and its stand functionality will allow you to display it both vertically and horizontally. This is an added bonus for presentation. One problem is that the outer shell on the part that holds the iPad itself cuts into the foam grooves that hold up the device. That and I'm not sure how long that elastic band on the outside will last before getting stretched out; I would have preferred a different way to secure it shut. Other than those minor things, good product!

Targus Versavu 360 Stand iPad3
Pros: Looks great, solid, and rotates
Cons: Grooves wear out.
Great case. Looks great, and love the rotating feature. This is my second one, and the only problem is that on my old case, there are 3 grooves you can put your iPad in to lock it into position (different grooves for different angles), and as you use it, they begin to flatten and doesn't keep it standing any more. In this new version, it seems built better, but I can see that this will eventually happen as well (probably after a year's worth of use).

Targus Versavu 360 Stand iPad3
Pros: WORKS
Cons: NOT FREE
I use this with the tilt, on my lap all the time.In that tilt position, I don't have to hold it up, making my arms tired. It also gives my I-PAD the utmost protection against accidents!!

Targus Versavu 360 Stand iPad3
Pros: Well made, holds the IPad securely, but also cushions it nicely.
Cons: I would like more color choices
I bought this case for my friend, an OTR trucker, it holds the IPad securely and cushions it nicely. I particularly like the rotating feature and how it easily becomes an easel to hold the IPad at different angles - a nice feature when trying to catch up on life at a truckstop. I wish one had been available when I bought my IPad!

Targus Versavu 360 Stand iPad3
Pros: Several things
Cons: So far, nothing
I hunted for days, literally, to find a cover that would be both useful and activate the magnetic on/off on an IPAD 2. Everything that I found out there was working on The New IPAD, not on the #2.

Targus Versavu 360 Stand iPad3
Pros: Sleek, compact, secure
Cons: The stand for landscape slips a little
I wanted something that would stay closed and provide a slim design to ft into my briefcase. This cover has worn well and has performed exactly as advertised.

Targus Versavu 360 Stand iPad3
Pros: Offers good protection of iPad
Cons: Haven't found any negatives yet
I like this case better than my smart cover I have. I like how this one covers not just the screen but the entire iPad. The elastic band keeps then cover closed and the leather looks great. I would recommend this product.

Targus Versavu 360 Stand iPad3
Pros: Protects my iPad. Swivels 360 degrees. Soft liner. Looks good.
Cons: Heavy, the iPad slips out of the groove frequently which is annoying.
This Targus cover had the look I wanted. The 360 degree swivil function is great as well as how the soft liner protects my iPad. It does make my iPad quite a bit heavier to carry. Also, I don't like how the iPad slips out of the grooves while using. The grooves need to be deeper.

Targus Versavu 360 Stand iPad3
Pros: everything
Got this for my wife. This is such a good deal compared to Apple's wanna-be case cover. This thing allows you to rotate the iPad, fold it over and prop it up and has alot of protection (leather and padding) to protect your iPad if it falls out of your hands or off the table, etc...<br />Waste no more time and get it!

Targus Versavu 360 Stand iPad3
Pros: 360 degree spin to view , solid protection, Targus reputation
Cons: At times does not sit straight in the slots, a little thick, adds to weight
Purchased at the recommendation of salesman who demonstrated dropping his iPad in this case on the floor multiple times- no damage to screen or device. Pleased with purchase.

Targus Versavu 360 Stand iPad3
Pros: Nice leather
Cons: No auto turn off, and strap hits the power button.
This is a decent case, but has a couple of problems that if addressed, would make it 100% better. There's no auto turnoff feature. Most other covers work with the iPads auto turn off feature magnets to turn off the iPad when you close the cover. This one does not. The packaging does not claim that it does this, so I guess I shouldn't complain. I read several old reviews that said that the company was planning to make this feature work on some new version of the product, and I had hoped that mine would, it didn't. The iPad fits snugly, the cover protects the machine. The foldout and spin feature works great, and is a fantastic idea. It makes so much sense, you wonder why all of them don't do it. The belt that you're supposed to use to hold the cover together goes right over the power button in the iPad, and often turns it on/off when you don't want it to. I just stopped using the band. That means that it could flop open if I didn't hold it together, but in practice it doesn't seem to matter because the way you're carrying it, it won't flop open anyway. The materials of construction are nice, and it seems like it'll be durable. If they could only move the strap, and make the auto turn off work.

Targus Versavu 360 Stand iPad3
Pros: Easy switch from portrait to landscape view
Cons: Adds a little weight and bulk
The Targus - Versavu Carrying Case for iPad is a versitile and stylish protection option for the iPad 3. It's available at a great price and provides very good protection. Easy to use in all orientations. I wouldn't mind a little slot for business cards or other identification next to the Targus label inside the cover. The soft liner minimizes risk of abbrasion of the touchscreen. Excellent product.
