Not the best but sure is fun

I read several mediocre reviews of this camera (not so hot quality, etc etc) but in the end I bought in anyway soley for the fun of taking it underwater (we were heading to Hawaii for snorkeling.) I have to say, I don't really care that it doesn't take the greatest pics, it is super fun to take it into the water, and some of our favorite action shots are from the beach or underwater. lots of blurry pics underwater, so you need to take a lot to get some that are clear. also, it was almost impossible to see the screen underwater, between the angle of the light and screen. Some land pics were blurry too,so seems the camera struggles to focus sometimes. I would not buy this as your sole camera, but we already have a good, bigger digital that we worry about more, and we didn't want to leave it on the beach, get it salty, etc. but we used the good camera when we wanted quality shots. The Olympus was a second camera that we didn't have to worry about. in short, this camera was just what  more
