Samsung UN60ES7500 60-Inch 1080p 240Hz 3D Slim LED HDTV (Black)
Writing this because a friend told me it would help them make a decision..so here goes. After doing some research and talking to the folks at best buy, I decided to by the Sharp Aquos 60" 240Hz tv and it's great price point. The fact that none of the 3 stores in the metro area had it in stock also made me believe that I had made a smart choice. So I drove 50 miles to pick up the Sharp and got it back home and set it up. It looked to be a great TV but the picture was really lacking. I was experiencing a little buyer's remorse. Read online about everyone having theirs professionally calibrated so I used various settings I found online and reserved myself to having to have it calibrated at a later date. The picture was good, but it want $2K good. The kicker was when my girlfriend told me the next morning that she hoped I got it calibrated soon, because the picture sucked. So I boxed the Sharp back up and bought this Samsung (which I would have wanted originally if not for saving 1/3 of the cost). Got it home and set it up and turned it on and the picture is amazing, truly amazing. If you want 60" and 240Hz with smart and 3D technology, you cannot go wrong with this being your choice. Still learning all the intricacies, but would recommend to any of my friends, or my enemies for that matter. Very pleased with Samsung, even through their capacitor problem, and now have a 60" in the LR and a 46" in the BR. Now if only I was as smart as this tv seems to be. Good luck.

Samsung UN60ES7500 60-Inch 1080p 240Hz 3D Slim LED HDTV (Black)
Pros: Picture, Features, Spectacular 3D
Cons: Voice and motion controls
I originally went to Best Buy looking for value when my 2010 Samsung UN55B6000 TOC model's panel died a premature death. Beware, Samsung support past the 12 month manufacturer warranty is non existent. For peace of mind consider the BB Black Tie offer. Sad considering the old TV was a top shelf model. Anyways, moving on to the review :

Samsung UN60ES7500 60-Inch 1080p 240Hz 3D Slim LED HDTV (Black)
Pros: Easy to use
Cons: Nothing
We wanted to get rid of one of our older tv's so got a new tv for the living room. We compared many models and types and the 240hz is definitely worth the extra money. We found one returned because it had no blue tooth, which we weren't going to use anyway, and it was $300 off sticker price. It is very skinny and such an awesome picture. Led is the best. We had the geek squad come out and install everything, they are responsible if anything breaks. It was also cheaper to have them do it because it included the wall mount that way. So far we are very satisfied with this tv. We have had it for 4 months and we also had them come out and calibrate it.

Samsung UN60ES7500 60-Inch 1080p 240Hz 3D Slim LED HDTV (Black)
Pros: Fabulous picture...!
Cons: A little complicated
We bought a Panny plasma first and were very disappointed with the picture quality. Not much better than the 50" DLP rear projector it replaced. After seeing the Samsung LED at a friend's house, we arranged to replace the plasma with the 60" Samsung LED. What a difference! There seems to be a depth to the picture, as if you can see a distance between characters and things in the scene. The definition is almost too good in some situations. I can recognize some really cheezy sets and backgrounds I didn't notice before in movies I am familiar with.
This picture is so good as to seem like a "breakthrough" technology to me. Even my wife, who usually ho-hums such things is blown away! We are impressed!

Samsung UN60ES7500 60-Inch 1080p 240Hz 3D Slim LED HDTV (Black)
Pros: picture
Cons: the smart features are overrated
It's a great TV for picture, connectivity to my Samsung blue ray player, etc - but DO NOT buy it for the 'smart tv' features. By and large they are simply annoying, and will continue to be until the folks at Samsung release their seemingly ever delayed smart tv keyboard.
The 'hand gestures' require good lighting - ON YOU. Personally, I don't enjoy watching TV with a spotlight on me. The 'voice commands' work, but only if the room is very quiet. One person. No air conditioning or outside noise.
The IR blaster is a nice touch, but the on-screen cable channel integration is a little wonky. Also, it's nice that they give 2 remotes, as I think the 'touchpad' one is overly clumsy.
While I am writing, don't plan on the iPhone app working reliably with this TV, as it doesn't. It suffers frequent disconnects.

I started out with the 8000 model what a problem. Nothing worked. Could not believe it . Internet did not work hand waving a waste. So .on and so. So I decided to go with the 7500model the difference is so much better. Has a few more features than the 8000 . Color of frame is all black and matches my home . Everything worked great on this model . Easy set up . My have to do some things twice but once started works great. Also 400.00 difference for same tv just the stand is different. Is a stand worth 400.00 not to me. Great deal

Samsung UN60ES7500 60-Inch 1080p 240Hz 3D Slim LED HDTV (Black)
Pros: Quality-Features-Picture
Cons: Heat-It gets hot-quick!
If you're consdering this TV, you've done your homework and know this is one of the best. Now you're wondering if it's worth the investment. To me it was. Incredible picture and great features not found on other TV's. The voice recognition is a bit tricky to navigate, but the ease of use and overall quality is excellent. Samsung has also added the 'evolution kit', so when new features are added to future models, you can upgrade your set! A home theater system or soundbar is a must as the TV speakers have poor quality.

Samsung UN60ES7500 60-Inch 1080p 240Hz 3D Slim LED HDTV (Black)
Pros: everything
Cons: nothing yet.
The TV walks you through the set up process. it was quite easy. It connected to the internet wirelessly without any issues. Downloading is seamless.
The picture is amazing. No complaints there at all.
A cool feature: You can talk to your tv!!! "Hi TV, volume down. Hi TV, turn off" You can also set it up to watch for hand signals to do certain things.
It also has facial recognition. If you have certain settings you prefer when you are watching and it sees your face, it will automatics set that for you.
Love this tv!!!!! Still looking for a negative. Havent found one yet. We have had the tv for about 2 weeks now.
We bought it online and they delivered it to our house for free, which is good because the box for this 60 inch tv was massive.
We spent quite a bit of time researching tvs and chose this tv based on ratings, it being the 2012 model, cost of the 3d glasses (19.99). it comes with 4 glasses in the box and we purchased two more.
The 3D works quite well and we have already enjoyed several movies.
There are tvs this size that cost less but between the 240 Hz and the Clear Motion Rate feature, the upgrade is more than worth it. Ultimately, we had it narrowed down to 2 TVs. this one and the Samsun UN60ES8000FXZA, which is actually a few hundred more that this one.
This one actually seemed to have a couple features the more expensive one did not.
Very pleased.

Samsung UN60ES7500 60-Inch 1080p 240Hz 3D Slim LED HDTV (Black)
Pros: Technology exceeds all others
Cons: PIcture uniformity lacks
I have had two LCD TV's and a plasma for quite sometime now and jumping into the LED seemed like the best thing to do in order to upgrade.
However, I wish I would have known some of the negatives. Number one with this TV is that the picture uniformity is lacking. You receive this "flash lighting" effect on the corners and around the edges from the lighting. THis is something that from what I hear can happen on many edge lit LED's and you better hope it happens within your 30 days or else you will have to repair it. Another is the "soap opera" effect where movies almost seem fake because of the super fast 240Hz refresh rate. You can turn this feature off through the auto motion. What I mean by Soap opera is that you can see all the tricks and quirks a movie will use and it almost seems as if you are watching a film in real-time or that has been filmed with a home camera.

Samsung UN60ES7500 60-Inch 1080p 240Hz 3D Slim LED HDTV (Black)
Pros: Picture quality is outstanding
Cons: narrow viewing angle
Great TV. Picture really floored me. It took some tinkering with the settings to get the picture that we like. We are not tech savvy, but played around with it until it seemed right to us. Other people that come into the house are amazed at the picture. A Blue Ray is out of this world! I got Direct TV so I could enjoy some of their 3D programming. Setting up to the internet is a breeze. One drawback is the narrow optimal viewing angle. People that are off too far to the side will not enjoy the full capabilities of this amazing TV.

Samsung UN60ES7500 60-Inch 1080p 240Hz 3D Slim LED HDTV (Black)
I purchased the samsung UN60D6000S For 2199.00 and was content with it but not thrilled. So I took it back and hoped to exchange it for another. The one I purchased had a flickering issue. Turns out that particular model was no longer available, So I went ahead and spent about another grand and it was well worth it. This tv is amazing enough said.
