As fate would have it, our TV went out 2 days before we were to leave for vacation. So I headed to the local Best Buy to check out what they had to offer. Looked at the Samsung 7500 & 8000 3D TV's but really did'nt want a 3D TV. So I decided on the Samsung 60" 6100. After getting it home I realized we were going to have to have a sound bar cause the speakers are not good at all but the picture quality is amazing, as is the ease of set up and use. Went back and bought the Polk Audio 6000 Sound Bar with wireless Sub and I'm very happy with the combo. If you intend on getting this TV get a sound bar of some sort you'll need it. The speakers on the TV are very small and have to be turned up to like 65-70 to hear it. Add the sound bar and forget it.The sound bar adds amazing sound quality. As for the TV, Picture is the best I've seen. Looks like you could reach right in and touch the people!!! Yes its that good!!! Very easy to use. I highly recommond this TV but only if you intend on getting a sound bar of some kind or have one already. Samsung offers 2 for around $300.00 and Polk offers 2 as well a 3000 and a 6000 both are amazing and priced at $300.00- $450.00 Hope this review was helpful. Buy this TV and you'll be very pleased with the purchase.

This TV is awesome, great picture quality and brightness, the optical sound output feeds my surround sound perfectly. I would like to see a way to remove the mute symbol from the screen when using the optical sound output only.

Purchased a 55ES6100 in march liked it so much; Purchased a 60ES6100 in June; Easy set-up; Excellent Tech Support If needed; Not overly complicated; Samsung hit a home run with this model; Am planning to Update whole house to the 6100 series; Give a few for gift's; Overall just a Great TV; Especially if your not into 3D or Querity Remote !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I first purchased the 60" Sharp Aquios and was immediately disappointed. Went back the next day and bought this 60" Samsung. The picture is so much better. I've had a 50" Toshiba, 46" Bravia, and now this Samsung and would recommend it to everyone looking for a great tv with amazing picture!

This T.V. has the best quality picture of any T.V. I have EVER owned (and I have owned many!). It's crystal clear picture is just superb. I love the size too! it's so amazing how a T.V. this thin and lightweight can be such an awesome picture from any seat in our living room!

We chose this over the 60 inch Sharp, because the salesman, who sounded very knowledgeable, said that the Sharp is not too smart compared to the Samsung. This was about $400 more but we went for it. So far I am very impressed with everything. the Blu-Ray DVD is sharp. We watch a Netflix movie without a single glitch via Wifi.<br />Setup on the wall was done by the Geek Square. It took them over 2 hours but everything seems to work just fine.

I bought my Samsung UN60ES6100 from my local BestBuy store, after some expert help from an associate there. I had been to a couple of other stores, include other BestBuy locations, and had either no service or advice that was plain unhelpful. I wanted a Samsung plasma or LED TV without 3D (a gimmick to me) but with smart TV features and she helped me pick exactly the right model and arrange free delivery.

I work with televisions at work installing cable and samsungs LED by far in my opinion have the best picture quality to any television. I haven't had a change to play with the smart tv part of it. Samsung LED, can't go wrong with that brand and type of television.

i originally purchased the 60&quot; SHARP AQUOS SMART TV AND IT HAD A HORRIBLE PIC AND LOOKED A LITTLE FUZZY SO I EXCHANGED IT FOR THIS SAMSUNG AND WOW!!!!! WHAT A DIFFERENCE IT IS THE BEST HANDS DOWN. THE APPS ARE BETTER THE PICTURE IS BETTER AND ITS SO MORE ADVANCE THAN THE SHARP AQUOS.
