great processor, fast and easy to install. Be advised you will need a top shelf heat sink unit (processor cooler) to cool within acceptable ranges. processor tends to run hot, should be around 42c at idle and + 10c at peak. cannot run past 63c according to amd.

Coupled this with a Thermaltake CL-P0371 heatsink and running very cool. The performance you get for this price is amazing and my MSI K9A2 Platinum couldn't be happier running this with 4GB Patriot Viper PC6400 RAM. Throw in an ASUS EAH 3870 and the Razer AC-1 Gamer sound card and you have a stable system. This is more than worth the investment that will last for quite some time.

For an overcloker, this is a decent processor, but it is not as good when compared to its brother, the 5000+ Black Edition. The 5000+ has more overclocking potential than this due to the 5000+ being at 2.6Ghz while this is 3.2Ghz. 5000+ gets more bang for the buck. Unless, of course, you have no interest in overclocking, then i suggest you buy the regular 6000 at 3.0Ghz since it comes with stock cooler.

this is a great processor as always from amd i bought when brand new when it was ten dollars cheaper but as always very competitive pricing just remember there is no heatsink with this thing works awsome though. great speed for gaming and watching video and stuff on dual display systmes.

Ok, this CPU is best right now in the market, 3.2Ghz but only 2MB cache. The good thing is this can be compete with E6750 from Intel and best Dual Core right now in the market in my opinion. If you want this CPU to run in low temp. you going to need some kind special CPU cooler not stock heatsink because it run 10oC higher than other series like x2 4200+(at 31oC with special heatsink)
