Pros: The size, the price, the picture which is quality
Cons: nothing
We researched t.v.'s, led-lcd, plasma, smart and not smart, and 3d and not 3d, 720p, 1080P. First of all, its all new technology in regards to smart and 3d. This will all come down in price before you know it. We went to American t.v. looking at t.v.s, and getting one on one attention and we were educated with all the t.v.s. First of all the 1080P will really be of use if you have a blu-ray which will play movies in 1080p. In regards to networks using 1080P, this will not happen. The guy at American told us that it won't become available because of cost, and the switch over it would have to be to all the tv owners with t.v.s only a few years old. In regards to the smart t.v.s, well, you can stream thru your games systems, also you can buy a blu-ray which offers many of the features that a smart t.v.s has to offer. Maybe not apps, but I want to use my t.v. for watching t.v. and games for the kids. We have computers for the other. So we decided to go with the bigger screen, for the cheaper price. At first I thought I would be disappointed, but I have spent hours playing with this t.v., with xbox, wii, etc. It is not good for the wii, I would not suggest 720p for the wii. It was a terrible picture compared to are old t.v. We hooked the xbox up and clarity 100 percent. This t.v. is so worth the money, and for the price what the heck. It would come out to about 100.00 for six months of entertainment, and I think and hope this t.v. will last for a few years. I would buy another one if needed. We watch nextlix, the longest yard, that is a old movie, and the picture was so clear. Remember your eyes will adjust to whatever they are used to looking at, so people don't get so hung up with newer technology, its all better than what we had back in the 60;s 70's, 80's and heck even the 90's. So buy it, you will so impressed unless your a technology freak, which I kinda am, but I would not have paid more for the 1080p, it is not worth it. You get more for you buck this way.
