I take lots of photos of butterflies and birds and other outdoor things. The zoom and the image stabilization are great, plus the compact size makes the camera super-convenient. I've owned previous models in the Panasonic Lumix ZS/TZ series and they were great cameras, but the ZS20 is the best yet. I also like it better than another very good camera I own, the Panasonic Lumix FZ35. It is larger (almost the size of a DSLR) and has "only" an 18x optical zoom.
