Like all the other 5 star reviews- we are EXTREMELY happy with this tv. Researched it to death before buying and glad we choose the 71 series over the 65 & 69 and Sony. Was tempted to wait out for the A650 model line but this TV has gotten such rave reviews and you never know what kinks new models will have. Our friend who is an LCD skeptic was impressed when watching HD hockey and we get compliments from all our friends. We bought from Amazon- the price went down after buying and they refunded the difference- the TV arrived a week early and the delivery was right on time. I would without a doubt recommend this tv to anyone!!!

This is one of the best televisions on the market right now and Amazon's price can't be beat. Worried about buying online? Forget that nonsense. They have the best price by almost $500. They have free shipping and they ship fast. I was worried about shipping such an expensive item, but the process could not have gone any smoother. Amazon seems to take pride in customer satisfaction and they have accomplished that mission with me. thanks Amazon

This is the first time that I purchased a significant item over the internet and certainly the first time I purchased from Amazon. My concerns were the quality of the merchandise, the time for delivery, and the condition of the merchandise when delivered. I reviewed numerous reviews before taking the bold step of ordering from Amazon. I am extremely pleased that I did. The Samsung 4671 LCD is beautiful and absolutely awesome. The picture is remarkable and so life like. The input and output connections are plentiful and state of the art. The delievery of the set by EGL was sooner than I was anticipating. In addition, EGL provided a 4 hour delivery window and made it right on time. They carefully unpacked it, set it up and tested it. EGL's personnel were very professional and personable. The only thing that was missing were the white glove. I normally don't take the time to right reviews, but, because I relied on other persons' reviews to help with my decision, I wanted to return the favor

After months of searching for a "big screen" television I decided to go with the the Samsung 4671. This LCD had all the options I was looking for and plenty of extras. I ordered the t.v. on a Sunday afternoon and had the telvevision at my house on Thursday afternoon. The two delivery guys unloaded the tv from a large box truck and carried it into the room I wanted it to go in. I inspected the box which was flawless without dents etc. and had them open it up. I looked over the entire tv and had them set it on the stand. I plugged it in, hooked up the cable, and in less than ten minutes I was watching tv. The picture was simply awesome even on regular non HD cable.
I was very hesitant to spend over $2000.00 online instead of going to a store. After reading the reviews about other peoples experiences I felt better about everything. The ordering process was simple and the delivery was the best I have ever experienced. I was able to track the entire process with online tracking through Amazon

I did the same as everyone and did my research before I purchased such a large item. I have had my 4671 series since the beginning of january and was able to get it for $1999.00 which has been its lowest price on amazon so far. Warranties were all cheaper also if you selected one. This tv has lived up to all the hype so far, and I am glad I didnt spend the extra $600 on the sony xbr. I have read bad things about eagle aand their white glove service and i will have to tell you my experience was great. Did everything I would ask for and even recieved the tv 2 days early. My dad wants one now, only thing is he doesnt want to pay more than I did, and has been waiting 2 months now for the price to drop.
I recommend this tv for anyone and my experience with amazon was great, would do it all over without question.

This LCD is perfect and I couldn't be happier with it. The most important thing about a HD TV is the picture and this one is beautiful. My cable HD feed is great, and the 120Hz does make a difference, but do not expect a total absence of blur (for example when a football is thrown) but that is a minor point that pales in comparison to the overall HD picture. The 25,000:1 contrast ratio also provides a noticable improvement in the picture and I am glad I shelled out more for the 4671 vs. a lower-end model.
Likewise, for DVD (both normal and HD) and gaming the display is superior. I have used both the component and HDMI hook ups (I am not fanatic either way) and have had zero troubles.
The connections are plentiful and easy to use. It took me about 15mins from box to picture and complete surround sound. Very simple menu structure to tweak settings also helped in the set up time.

i made my purchase after much research online. i chose the 4671f and I'm glad i did. I'm not real hi-tech but i do know what looks and sounds great and this set does both superbly! i read on a few reviews of this set that the sound was bad?.... bad? i can only say they didn't have the Set's audio options set right or have a tin ear or just don't know what they're talking about! this set, the 4671f puts out premium stereo sound! as for the picture? it's stunning! albeit it depends on the source?...different channels/stations hi-def or not use varying degrees of quality as to camera's and broadcasting equipment... i use a oppo up-converting DVD player and the results are again stunning, depending on the DVD movie there is like a 3d effect. and the picture and sound clarity are worth the price for the set and oppo DVD player i payed. the menu is uncomplicated, and the manual like most manuals could explain a little more... but hey?....all and all this was a great purchase!

Simply a beautiful TV. Now let's hope it lasts and keeps this wonderful picture for many years to come. I'm used to spending about $200 or less on TVs. I took the plunge big time on this one. Delivery was smooth, setup is easy, and works very well with satellite TV.

This is a great TV for the price. I have a Sony 50" and a Sony Bravia 40" but this Samsung 46" LNT4671F has a better picture and is very sharp with brilliant color. All the additional HDMI ports and connection that this TV has makes it one of the best values. I placed it in my bedroom but thinking of just switching out with my living room TV. The only issue is the very reflective screen surface otherwise it's not a big deal for me since I don't have any direct light on it. Exceptional performance, style and price make this a great buy.

Have had my set for a week now. The HD picture is awesome. Eagle delivered four days early and an hour before their delivery window (I was still in pajamas!) Set up was quick and easy. Remote easy to use, and have I mentioned the awesome picture (to me it looked just as good as the pictures in the superstores).

I bought the LNT4671F in September 2007 The picture is all that and a bag of chips.The TV also looks good off. You will find yourself just staring at the TV even when its off. I liked it so must I just ordered another LNT4671F. Eagle will be delivering the latest one on Tuesday Oct 16 2007. I have had 3 TV's delivered by Eagle each time I got the TV before promised. The driver is always friendly. He will take the TV out the box and place it wherever you want it.He will take the box away also but take the UPC code off the box first you may need it for a rebate.I saved $900.00 on EACH TV off the price offered by Best Buy plus Amazon did not charge tax, which would have been another $230.00..The price dropped doing the first 30 days and when I contacted Amazon they gave me the lower price, within a few days the credit was back on my credit card.Make sure u get the HDMI cable with them The HD picture is so clear if you see a swimming pool on the TV you may grab your swimming trunks and try

I've had my LN-T4671F for a couple of weeks now, and I'm very happy with it. I previously owned a Samsung plasma (4254), and this is definitely a better TV.
There are numerous good things about this television, including dark blacks, low noise (no noise except what is coming through the source), high-quality panel (low incidence of panel defects seen in earlier LCD televisions), wide range of adjustments available, beautiful picture quality (on par with the best LCDs available), and a very good price for all of this quality (as of Oct 2007 market).
There is only one known issue (as of Oct 2007): The TV needs to be set to Game Mode to watch football or soccer. This is a simple On/Off setting in the Setup menu. If the TV is not in Game Mode then football passes or long kicks often (about 50% of the time) exhibit a triple-ball effect. It looks something like this: (o). As it moves on screen, the image of the ball shows a repeated image of it's front (nose) and rear (tail) on either side

I've been meaning to buy a Samsung LCD TV for quite a while now. I had looked at the LNT4661 and the LNT4665 models until I saw this model at Best Buy. They had it hooked up to a Blu-Ray DVD showing the Chicken Little movie and it was like watching it in 3D. I then saw it again at Sears right next to the 4665 and my wife and I were sold on it. I've had the TV for two weeks now and wow, what an amazing experience. I have an HD Cable box through the HDMI input and some of Standard channels look like they are in HD. What a difference from my old 46" projection TV!

I did a lot of reading before purchasing this unit, in fact I had settled on the 65 series and then found out about the release of the 71 and 81 series. AVS Forums is a great help when buying something like this TV. I decided the 71 series gave the best bang for the buck and boy was I right.
Since I got the TV I have essentially left it on the factory settings and the results are phenomenal. This is one of the best performing TV's on the market...in fact when walking through stores now, all other sets pale in comparison. I don't have Blu-Ray or XBox just a Standard DVD hooked up by component video and HD Satellite and they look fantastic. The Automotion Plus gives a 3D look to most broadcasts (although there is some motion lag at times) which if you don't like can be shut off. And don't let the gloss screen worry you, I have a bright living room and have had no problems with glare!

I like the new design of the tv compared to the 65 series.

I have Comcast cable the analog channels look bad but the digitals are OK!
Havn't got their hd box yet, maybe in a day or two.
I got a 14' by 14' room for the tv. when i ordered it i thought it will be a littlebit small but when the Eagle guys opened up the package i thought they did bring me the 52" version! It is looks huge!
Well maybe just in my eyes because this is my first big screen tv!
Anyway you can't go wrong with this set!

I researched the 81 and 71 series for as long as they had been announced (~ 6 months, since CES show). I got all hopped up about the "100k" contrast ratio on the 81 series due completely to the new "LED" backlighting. Well, at AVS forums, one guy bought both, and concluded that it only mattered when the screen was totally black (like the black bars on the top and bottom of the screen when watching a wide screen formatted movie, or a fade scene), and then only a little. The general conclusion seemed to point to the 71 series being the sleeper hit so far this year (dunno about the xbr5, but some reports put this one right with it), and that the 81 series wasn't worth the extra grand or more.
Too late for me, because I rushed into BB to pay up front for an 81 series tv as soon as the store had the sku in their system (4 weeks before they even showed up). Yeah, I got to use a 12% off good customer coupon, but in the end I could have had a 52" 71 series instead of a 46" 81 series (especially

I was at first looking to get samsungs 46 inch 65 series model (lnt4665f) because i loved how it looked, especially the blacks. but i decided to wait for the upcoming 71 series and 81 series... and decided the 71 series would be the one for me (lnt4671f). When they got this baby into circuit city I could definantly notice this difference between its older model.(unlike sony flat panals, which most of the time have very hard to see differences between "better" models)
The colors were definanlty more vibrant and the blacks were blacker, also this model has pretty much no motion bluring due to "auto motion plus". (I noticed motion bluring on the new sony XBR4 when they were demoing fantastic 4 on blu-ray) also, at my local circuit city they had this model displayed next to the new sony XBR4 and with my eyes i beleive that the samsung looks better, especialy in the black levels. I highly recomend this model to anyone who wants a top of the line tv, needless to say i'll be picking one
