The DVD players seems to be working well but the microphones that came with it one package was opened and when we tried to use it, it didn't work. The other one works but it sound like an echo. This was a gift to my granddaughter for her birthday. It's like someone else had bought this and it didn't work so you sent it to the next person. So now what do I do to get two working microphones for my granddaughter. Also, the picture you show at the top of the page, I got the big DVD machine, 2 microphones, wirering, and a remote control, nothing else. The karaoke disk we really haven't tried except one because of microphones.

This product works just like i thought great but the microphones need to be changes because you can barely hear yourself and you kinda need to figure the video audio out on your own cause i cant hear the movie voices only the background music

I was in search of an inexpensive karaoke for my girls, and I am still looking. This is no more than a DVD player with the karaoke feature, but very low quality. The price too expensive for a DVD, the mics...poor quality, sound horrible!. It was not hard to install, but the feature Karaoke, its sound quality is bad! the echo...too much echo and if you turn it down, then you can't hear you are singing. Whe using the mics you had to hold them to your mouth/lips to be able to hear anything. I wasted my money, you're better off spending quite a few more dollars getting the real deal not just a feature implanted on a DVD player.

The karaoke/dvd player is a great addition especially for kids. The microphones do not work as well as expected. You really have to get your mouth close and be loud. Other than that we are pleased with it and our daughter loves the fact she can sing to her favorite songs.

This DVD player works just as described. It handled all the non-region 1 and PAL discs I threw at it with no trouble. Save yourself the hassle of hacking a regular DVD player, this one gives you complete freedom out of the box. the nicest touch is that on the remote, there is a dedicated button to switch from the 6 different output modes: interlaced-NTSC/PAL/Multi and progress scan-NTSC/PAL/Multi, no need to find these buried in a menu somewhere. It has both coaxial and optical digital outs, so you can choose whichever fits your sound system the best. The only negative I can find is that the included mics are very weak. Maybe it's because I haven't found the right settings yet, or maybe it's because they're free and you shouldn't expect too much. But overall, this DVD player is a solid bargain. Off the top of my head, I can't even remember what brand it is, and I don't care. At this price and with its load of features, I don't missed the expensive brand names.

The 5.1 channel DVD/Karaoke machine looks great out of the box. It is sleek looking and doesn't take up much space. The directions will do nothing for you if you don't have experience setting up different DVD machines. The audio and video of the Karaoke DVD's works well. I am pleased with the sound.
I have never used the directions to set up any piece of electronic equipment ever except with this unit because I am having so much trouble getting it to function properly. I have yet to figure out how to make the microphones work because there are no directions to really help me troubleshoot. I have no idea if it is the microphones that don't work or some other reason I can't get sound through the microphones. I have never seen such poorly written directions in any piece of electronic equipment I have bought previously.
