Excellent, High Speed USB Stick

As a Mac user, I have more than once been frustrated by the slow speed with which Mac OS X writes to Windows formatted USB sticks. A family member of mine had a Windows formatted DataTraveler DT100/8GB stick which we used to transfer some photos from my Mac to her PC. I was amazed at the speed with which my Mac wrote to the stick. I did some research afterwards and found that the DT100 in particular has about a 40% higher write speed than most USB sticks in its class. I purchased one right away, and have been very pleased with it. It is fast, very high capacity, and its retracting USB connector makes it very convenient to carry around. When formatted for Mac OS X, it is without doubt the fastest memory stick I have. Highly recommended.

Amazing!!!!

It's amazing what this tiny device can do, and so simple, drag and drop. I lost my info on my old computer when it crashed, thats when I bought my Kingston data traveler and have been very pleased with it's performance.

Not Mac friendly and poor construction

I've had the drive for about 10 months. It doesn't work well with my Mac Leopard 10.5 OS, it locks up after an undetermined amount of time and it sometimes even brings the OS along with it. Apart from this, the construction is of poor quality. It came apart after 10 months of use, the plastic seems to be very cheap. I had to tape it back together with black tape. If you want a USB drive, try Kingston's more reliable/compatible/trusty DTI series or other brands.

Good product

I bought this to put movies on instead of buying dvds, and watch on dvd player through its usb port. So far its worked very good, very clear picture for movie playback, I am very happy with this product.

I purchased this product a year ago and my only regret is that I didn't wait until a later date. I have had no issues with this drive it's fast, quiet and and easy to insert and remove from any machine.
