MLB 12 The Show PS3
I personally don't get that into the whole aspect of running your own franchise but if you this has it an it is quite extensive. Graphics are nice and the music is good. I enjoy just loading it up and smashing away at balls in batting and home run derby mode as well as playing exhibition games. This is also a game a parent could play with their kids and it is PS Move compatible as well as 3D compatible.

MLB 12 The Show PS3
Pros: Challenging, but rewarding
Cons: Long Installed
The Game its great after the long installed. Great teams selection from AA to AAA teams. Unlike Madden I don't seem to get bore with the announcers. Hitting or pitching its pretty hard at first specially if this is the first time you play The Show. Once you get the hang of it and increase the difficulty, it's a very changeling experience. You start to recognize pitchers movement and throwing motions. Also every batters swing its different, so you gotta learn how to hit with each player.

MLB 12 The Show PS3
Pros: Road to the Show mode
Cons: Still some glitches, but overall not that many
MLB 12 The Show is the 3rd in the series that I have played. The physics and the game play are improving steadily, and the best part of the game is the Road to the Show (RTTS) mode.

MLB 12 The Show PS3
Pros: Has every rule in the game like waivers, rule 5 draft, options; can play your own music in game; gameplay is smooth
Cons: Repetitive Commentary
Game is great. Everything is there. The Road to the Show (RttS) is great. You can fly through seasons and customize how much you want to play your player. It is easier to pick up the spin on the curveballs versus previous years. I actually have an easier time taking balls and not just swinging at most everything.

MLB 12 The Show PS3
Pros: Just about everything
Cons: Striking out
I havn't gotten The Show since 09 because I just didn't feel it had changed any. This year I felt like it was time for another baseball game (since EA hasn't come out with one yet) and since I can't stand 2K baseball I went ahead and got the show again and I'm glad I did! This game is great! The announcing is smooth and not blocky like madden sometimes is and gameplay is great. A little challenging since I havn't played in a while but once you get the hang of it you won't want to stop playing. It hasn't left my system since I got it the day it came out! Even my brother who isn't a baseball guy loves this game! RTTS is much improved and a blast and the season wears on just like a real season. Also love that I can put my own music in the game! A must buy!

MLB 12 The Show PS3
Pros: The Graphics, The Game Play, The Live Roster Updates
Cons: nothing
I don't usually buy a lot of video games in a calendar year with the exception of a few games and this one is the one I can't wait to buy every year. MLB 12 THE SHOW has amazing graphics and awesome game play, it is definitely a huge reason why I own a PS3 console.

MLB 12 The Show PS3
Pros: Beautiful Graphics, Great Gameplay must play in 3D
Cons: Online Play
After making a big to-do about their “Real-Time Presentation” system the past two years, Sony wiped the slate clean for 2012, with a revamped broadcast presentation that more closely resembles actual MLB telecasts. The new system does a surprisingly good job of replicating its real-life counterpart. The camera frequently pans the field, zooms in on players and commentators, Matt Vasgersian, Dave Campbell and Eric Karros discuss topics relevant to the onscreen action. As a result, games feel a lot smoother, though I did have some awkward, uncanny valley moments.

I still love this series. The game play has changed ALOT and many people do not like the new changes, but you can set everything back to the previous games using timed hitting and metered throwing instead of the Pure Analog, which it pretty cool, but too tough for me. The fielding feels a bit ackward compared to the '10, but I'm getting the hang of it.

MLB 12 The Show PS3
Pros: Graphics
Cons: Hitting/ Audio Commentary
The game play and camera angles are great. The hard part is hitting. It is nearly impossible to hit the ball! Every year this game comes out, they change the controls which makes it frustrating. I wish I would have rented it first. I wasted my money.

Pros: NOTHING
Cons: EVERYTHING
THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST PURCHASE I HAVE EVER MADE! ABSOLUTELY NO SUPPORT! TONS OF FEATURES MISSING! GAME PLAY ESPECIALLY ONLINE DISPLAYS THEIR LACK OF KNOWLEDGE OF GAME PLAY! ! NAIVE PROGRAMMERS OBVIOUSLY HAVE NO CONCEPT OF GAME PLAY... STRATEGY PLAY DOES NOT EXIST AS CPU (BASEMENT GEEK PROGRAMMERS) OBVIOUSLY NEVER PLAYED THIS GAME...BUGS GALORE... IF U WANT A GEEK VIDEO GAME THIS IS FOR YOU... IF U ARE LOOKING FOR HARD CORE BASEBALL GO ELSEWHERE.... THIS IS A JOKE AND THE PROGRAMMERS SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF PUTTING THIS PIECE OF GARBAGE ON THE MARKET.. 'NUFF SAID.

MLB 12 The Show PS3
Pros: Graphics
Cons: New controls and just about everything else!
So disappointed in this game. I've been buying the show since 08 and this is the first edition that I'm sorry I spent 60 dollars on. The pitching and hitting within the game iare made to be nearly impossible. The internet lag time makes online play, including the new "diamond dynasty" mode a joke. The commentary is still pathetic and hasn't changed since last year. The game isn't even fun to play. Rent it before you blow 60 bucks on a bad baseball game. Someone please explain to the show creators that realism doesn't mean making an impossible to control baseball game. So unreal it's horrible!

MLB 12 The Show PS3
Pros: Grahics are superb new Pitching style is good.
Cons: audio commentary could be tweeked better that's only my opinion.
The Game is not bad, not great but not bad? It Lacks descent audio commentary ! What the makes of this franchise should do is add classic commentary. Let give you an example; How about The late Great Mr. Phil Rizzuto who used to say "Holy Cow" that's a home run or any other commentary from team announcers from the the teams in the league? You guys need to focus on better audio before you start losing MLB fanatics all around the globe.........other than that U just need a little practice that's all. So Baaaaaaaa to all those gamers who hated the game..............

MLB 12 The Show PS3
Pros: controls and graphics
Cons: Don't know yet.
This year the Show has made a lot of changes. It is not the same game/graphics with just updated rosters. Everything is improved and looks so real. You have all of the pitching and batting controls to pick that were in all the previous years. I am really loving it.
