I agree with the guy who thinks version 8 should be closer to bug-free than version 5. I know DOS well enough to get around the problems that can be addressed on that level, but there are programming problems beyond DOS that are Greek to me. I also agree that customer support is non-existant.
Lucky for me I purchased the upgrade and therefore didn't throw away as much moeny as I might have otherwise.

Interesting comments here about Sys Cmdr.. Perhaps my comments won't be accepted cuz they relate to an earlier version (5) but I think I can offer some insight. But first, let's remember that this is Amazon.com, and Amazon should not be tarnished cuz of some software company that can't get their act together. Amazon is okie-dokie with me. No gripe whatever.... I came here looking for info about this newer ver 8. I'm currently a ver. 5 user of Sys Cmdr. I will agree with others who state that V-Comm is bad on customer service. They are horrible. One fellow said "non-existent" I'll agree on that. However, I wonder about the bug reports. I would think vers. 8 to be less buggy than vers. 5. What many might think to be bugs is the way you go about things. Sys Cmdr is an animal one must "get acquainted with". If I hadn't learned my DOS, I would say I would've just thrown in the towel.
