Looney Tunes: Acme Arsenal: Nintendo Wii
I really regret buying this game. Acme Arsenal fails on two levels, both as a video game and as a "Wii" game.

First, as a video game, Acme Arsenal is just a generic third-person shooter with a Looney Tunes look. You might as well be playing Tomb Raider. The game fails to capture the essence of Looney Tunes humor. Instead, you fight robots. Lots and lots of robots. Over and over again.

It should also be stated that the two-player split-screen mode was a really poor choice by the designers. As other reviewers have noted, the separate views for each player make it very easy for players to get separated. Furthermore the camera that follows your character is not very smart, so with only 1/2 of the screen, you will frequently find yourself in positions where you can't see the object onto which you need to jump.

Finally, as a "Wii" game, this is utterly uninspired. You twist and shake the controllers to perform attacks, but this is not any improvement over mashing button combinations. The

I WAS HAVING SOME DIFFICULTY IN KNOWING WHAT TO DO. WHEN MY GRANDDAUGHTER WHO IS 10 CAME AND PLAYED WITH ME I HAD A LOT MORE FUN. I WOULD USE THE REMOTE AND SHE THE NUNCHUCK AND WE GOT A LONG WAYS. IT WAS DARK FOR ME TO SEE WHAT WAS WHAT BUT SHE COULD GET US THROUGH. I DON'T KNOW IF I CAN DO IT ALL BY MYSELF YET.THE OTHER GRANDKIDS REALLY LIKE IT.THEY DO NOT PLAY FOR HOURS ON THIS GAME LIKE SOME OTHERS.

My son (age 7) and I were looking forward to this game because we both love the characters, and the concept of the game was very promising. Unfortunately, we only played through the first two levels of the game before giving up.

We loved the characters (primarily Bugs and Marvin) and the comments they made while playing, plus the occasional taunts by the villain. We also liked fighting the robots.

However, the Controls were the reasons we ended up sending back early. The nunchuck has to be twisted along it's axis in order to make the characters do a spinning attack, and several of the enemies are only vulnerable to that attack. Also, it's the only way to jump across several key gaps. The castle level has several of these longer jumps, and falling will take you back to the beginning of the series of four to five gaps.

Also, we were playing on a 36" standard TV. We tried splitting the screen both horizontally and vertically (horizontal ended up working best for us), but the Castle section
