I bought this subwoofer for a great price as a BB employee. I was going to get Energy floor speakers from the Magnolia home theater, but I would have needed a receiver, which aren't cheap. So opted for a sound bar and a subwoofer instead. All I have to say is that I made a great choice. One of my coworkers recommended me the Polk Audio subwoofer so I decided to try it. If I didn't like it of course I could bring it back. But as soon as I set it up in my small : (( apartment I was absolutely amazed. It was like I was in a movie theater! The subwoofer shook my whole apartment! I would recommend get a subwoofer along with theater speakers instead of speakers and a receiver.

I bought this sub for my shop. It is a 2000 sq ft space and I have a surround sound system set-up with sirius satellite radio and I have been upgrading bits and pcs as I go along. I found this sub around the first of the year on sale for 150.00. Best component by far for the money. Great sound, very clean, lots of power (only run it about half power). I would definately recommend this product to anyone who loves to listen to music. I can't speak to it's use for movies as I said it is in my shop and we only use it for music.

Bought this with 6 Polk T15's and a Polk CS1 to complete a 7.1 surround setup. Matches other speakers well, blends into the room, and sounds great. I have no doubt there are nicer subs available, but not for the sale price Best Buy had on these. Tremendous value.

I am a novice with audio equipment for Home Theater and have little<br />patience to read manuals/instructions. This was a snap. It worked exactly as I had hoped, and was surprised, given the low price of this<br />subwoofer.

So far I'm satisfied with my polk subwoofer and the sound is great and makes it better with my other polk speakers. Thinking to buy wall speakers in the future. I love the sound.

Excellent subwoofer that actually gets better with time. The bass is deep and plentiful. Fills up just about any size room. It can actually be a bit too loud almost to the point of distortion if you turn it all the way up along with outputting a decent amount of signal from a receiver's sub output. Versatile connections also is a plus also so it will work even if you do not have a sub-output port and just use the regular speaker outputs (lets you throughput connections).

I bought this when it was on sale for half price. After bringing it home and hooking it up and listening to it, it would have been worth the regular price, but I'm still trilled I got it for the sale price. If you need a new bass, this is a great on to grab onto.

I found this subwoofer on Best Buy's website just before Christmas. I picked it for the price and the Polk name. It was priced just under $300. When I got to the store I found out it was on sale for $125.00.<br />You can't beat that! . It has great power for small &amp; large rooms. I had it connected in 2 minutes. As long as I get at least 5 years life from the sub I'll be happy.

Planned on buying the PSW10, but ended up getting the PSW110 because I got a fantastic deal on it. I have a 5 channel Polk surround system, but did not originally get the subwoofer. Sound was good quality, but lacked bass - this subwoofer matches the system very well so far and offers excellent bass that has filled out the surround system. I have it connected to an older Yamaha receiver, and placed the subwoofer in my dining room in a corner (next to my family room) and the sound is perfect so far. I got this price matched at $79, so absolutely could not pass it up, but I think I'd be satisfied if I'd spent $200 on it as well. Great system for my living area.

Very dissapointed that I had to waste two hours making sure I wasn't doing something wrong and then re-boxing it and returning.<br />The only reason I bought this was because it was on sale on Black Friday.

I purchased this to replace a very old powered sub woofer that finally quit after about 20 years. I wasn't expecting much from this new speaker because my old one had a lot more power wattage wise. Watts don't mean everything, I was blown away once I powered this new sub. Sounds great and the thump rattles the whole house! I use it for music and for the home theater

I thought the plaster would crack during Revenge of the Titans. Had to turn it down. Very easy to wire and operate. Very compatible with modern surround sound amps.<br />Was light years better than the cheap pioneer that I first tried.<br />I did have to trade out the first Polk 110 due to an annoying background hum. I've been blessed/cursed with accute hearing.

I picked this badboy up on cyber Monday for $130... I bought it to replace my blown Klipsh 10&quot; powered sub that I've had for 8 years.. Something about spending $500 on a sub again made me shy away from getting the same one.. This sounds just as good if not better than my klipsh, it seems to have more range and is more controlled. I also think the front facing sub does my 25x15 room some good, rather than a down firing one.. Sends the bass through the room instead of the floor...This goes great with my Klipsh quintets.. Blueray, ps3 black ops 2, and music sounds amazing... Even at 250 this is a steal and would buy this again over spending 500 bucks anyday of the week... You will not be disappointed with this sub , I'm still shocked at the performance for the price, just crazy!!!!

i picked this up for a friend of mine who was setting up his first 7.1 surround sound system. After listening to mine for years he had to have one. He and is family luv it.

I was originally sold a 100 watt Polk sub for $200, but swapped it out before I left the store for this 200 watt subwoofer for $50 more. Although I don't regret spending these extra $50, the 100 watt subwoofer would have been more than enough power for use as a Home Theater system as the other Polk speakers drive a lot of bass anyways. I have the sub cranked down and am barely using all of its power.
