i was looking for a 5'' gps to replace my old nextar snap5. i do alot of research on everything before i buy it,this gps is the best deal i found,the lifetie updates on the other garmin models im sure work good,but im a truck driver and ive never had a gps longer than 2 years,and at 119.00 thats a steal! the interface is way better than my 2 year old nextar so if you spend the extra money for the lifetime update model in a year or so your stuck with a old interface,as in a year from now there will be something newer and better than this.so how does this one work? awesome,very fast to recalulate you,great POI,and for us truck drivers it has a ''truck stop'' feature...great gps i have no idea why other people are complaing about not getting a cord. cord for what? you open the box,turn it on it updates and your ready to go,touchsreen is great,get one
