Pros: Ease of use

We have a Garmin in each of our cars. They have been very helpful to us when traveling and when go to new places in the Atlanta area. It is very helpful for the kids. Get the life time maps!

Pros: price , vocie promt ,easy to use

Cons: auto rerouting some times gletches

great for the price it works well and does every thing you need for a budget price vocice promt is great and the look up functioin works well to find whats around you ..... the only draw back is the rerouting function sometimes dosen't recognize where you are so it just tells you to drive to the high lighted route witch can get annoying to have to look up the map to figure out where it wants you to go over all good i would recondmend it and buy it agian my self

Pros: Nice big, clear screen. Very easy to see at night

The only thing I wish it had (unless I can't find it) is trip mileage. I use this for work so I'd like to know total miles on each trip. Other than that, I love it!!!

Pros: It was cheap and works quick..

Cons: So far so good..

I'd buy another.. It's probably cheaper to buy a new one than upgrade, we will see how easy it is to update the maps when the time comes. Otherwise yah can't beat it..

Difficult to update...still a good value

Pros: Spoken street name/turns, Easy UI

Cons: Difficult to update

Only complaint is updating maps required software rather than just entering a serial number and downloading a file to replace current maps. The first attempt did not update and rendered the device useless - and I am techno savy. Had to return it. Since I use it daily at work, I have yet to try and update it again, as I fear the same thing will happen. Good value for size and features. Large enough to see, yet doesn't block view. Zoom out to birds eye view is very helpful for seeing an entire area in detail rather than being forced to view turn by turn layout, at least in police work...

Pros: Lane identification, spoken street names, price, lifetime maps

Cons: missing some of the features from back when GPS was expensive, like MP3 player

This was bought as a gift for my daughter. It was a basic unit but with all of the things you need for navigation. In exchange for a few missing and unimportant bells and whistles (i.e. book reader. mp3 player) you get a good unit for navigation (very accurate, fast and quick satelite aquistion) and lifetime map updates for about 14% of the cost of a fully featured GPS (or just the maps) 10 years ago

Pros: We don't stress when driving to new places

This little thing is great! It is easy to update, gives very clear written and spoken directions, alerts the driver to construction and other upcoming alerts. It didn't take any time at all to learn how to use and has taken all the stress out of driving to new places.

Cons: No problems whatsoever.

Great product. If you want to have some fun, and only if you have a good idea where you're going, download and select a directions voice that's not American English, such as UK English, French, etc.

Pros: very easy to use and great graphics

Cons: nothing

I was looking to find an easy to use gps..that also gave me better options for traveling..more direct routes..and that had an easy to read screen. After reading the reviews..I figured I would try this one out..I used almost immediately and was very happy with the more direct route it gave me visit my friend in the Pittsburgh area..and I loved how it splits the screen to show you the upcoming highways.. and I also love how it shows you the speed limit for roads..which sometimes arent even visible while on the highway!

I purchased this to use for the few times that I travel long distances. It worked great except for when I realized that I had the settings for how to get to a destination incorrect. It took me about 5 miles out of the way to get to the hotel but, other than that, it has been very good.l

Pros: easy to use

Cons: shut off when i was REALLY depending on it!

Worked great when i was testing it on routs i already knew how to navigate, and it corrected quickly for my turn-offs for short-cuts. However, my first excursion 100+ miles away, it worked perfectly on the way there, but AT NIGHT, going home, it SHUT OFF moments after getting in the van! it did this 4x! PANIC !! as i had NO IDEA how to get home! We fiddled around and finally it came on and stayed on, but it routed us a cumbersome back-roads way home! Since then it has operated ok, but again, on a route i know well, after dark, it was mis-directing me! I am frustrated and will try it after dark again soon to see if it works.
