Samsung 4-Inch Galaxy Player
Pros: Easy like my Android phone
Cons: Not many accessories
I actually love this device. I had the ZuneHD and was totally tired of paying a monthly fee and was having a lot of trouble with the touch screen. I also didn't want to use my phone for music so I invested in another mp player. The only issues I have is the fact that u can't keep the device screen time out on past 10 minutes. I like it on while I have it plugged in. And there is only 1 accessory, the black back cover. I would like something other than the black back cover.

Samsung 4-Inch Galaxy Player
Pros: Marketed as a mp3 player but it does a lot more!
Cons: No dedicated hard button to flip through songs
Pros: Its a great device. Plays mp3's and video files with good sound. With endless apps, this device can do a lot of what a PC can do.<br />The rear camera takes decent pictures.<br />Good, comfortable size<br />Good battery life. Battery can be removed by user .<br />Expandable memory, up to 32 GBs with a micro SD.

Samsung 4-Inch Galaxy Player
Pros: price, micro sd card, android, stero speekers, gps
Cons: the 3.6 have beatter sound on the EQ but this one is Good too and have beatter screen that the 3.6
first i buy the 3.6 but was not happy with the screen res. then i dice to buy the 4.0 since have a clear lcd and i love it it can be sync with WMP or with kies ir just drag and paste like a external HDD i own a ipod nano and i hate i can sync easy with other pc this one sync with every thing plus you can upgrade the memory flash up to 32 + the 8 on bord make it 40g for less the $200 (i pay $200.00 now is just 159.99) you can order on amazon the sd 32g for $20...do the math for a ipod touch 32g you will pay $280 and do not have GPS or sync with your cell and work as a hand free...yes you can pair it with your phone via bluetooth and when you recive a call you can answer on you galaxy without the need to stop player and changes diveces i love it my frind have a touch 32 and he is in love with my galaxy

Samsung 4-Inch Galaxy Player
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Reliable Performance, Replaceable battery, Simple Controls, Sleek/Compact
The item is called a player, but it is a full featured mini tablet computer. It has full access to Google's Android store and the best apps, and its email apps are quite good. It also comes with a browser, but you can download Firefox if you want. The display is sharp and crisp with great color. The rear facing camera shoots in 4x3 format, and has better auto focus than the one in the Galaxy Tab 7. It has a special four contact headset/antenna for playing music or listening to the FM radio, which has the best selectivity and sensitivity I've ever seen in a portable device. It does suffer from lack of dynamic range, and doesn't sound as good as the Sansa Clip. The other mild drawback is the small screen, as it makes book reading somewhat less rewarding than using the 7 inch format or the iPad. All considered, this is a magnificent little machine that's much more than just a player. A good investment to get all the features of a smart phone in a lighter and less expensive package.

Samsung 4-Inch Galaxy Player
Pros: Good sound quality
Cons: Too hard to type in WiFi function, touch screen too sensitive
Wanted to use both MP3 features and WiFi. Not bad for audio listening but hate the WiFi function. Too hard to access WiFi sites. Keyboard too small tend to make a lot of typing errors. Will buy laptop for WiFi use instead.

Samsung 4-Inch Galaxy Player
Pros: it keeps the kids well entertained
I have a boy and girl set of twins, and they both find it very entertaining. I got this product for them because they were always on my smart phone downloading different games to play, and for the music on my pandora. Now they have all the capibilities I have on my phone w/the exception on being able to make phone calls.

Samsung 4-Inch Galaxy Player
Pros: Easy to use, good sound, not an apple product
Cons: Haven't come across anything glaring, but I know I haven't used all the features
Was looking for an MP3 player plus - for apps, games, podcasting, etc. All I knew was I didn't want an Apple product. Kept watching for an android version and finally Samsung released their versions. Debated between the 4 &amp; 5 inch screen but was looking for something a bit more pocket friendly so I went with the 4&quot;. Very pleased that it's a larger screen than an Ipod touch. Reviews tended to be down on the sound quality but I didn't find any other alternatives. While I realize its not the ultimate in sound quality I'm more than happy with the external speakers. I can't always wear headphones so I use the speakers quite a bit. I think there is good volume range even when I keep the player in my shirt pocket. The music is clear and there is definition between highs &amp; lows and music versus lyrics. When used for podcasts all dialog is easy to hear. The player is easy to use, set-up was quick and I was able to use it right away. I'm fairly good at figuring out things even though I'm not a huge tech guy. Downloaded the manual just in case. Synching music is easy, I just plug into the pc and link to windows media player where I have all my music. Originally tried their recommended synching software but found it a bit cumbersome and I hate the extra storage that those types of programs use up. I downloaded the podkicker app and that interface has been fine. Battery life is good unless you leave on a lot of applications. I haven't synched it to my email yet but it seems straightforward. Only been a month or so and I know I haven't used a lot of the capabilities but it does what I needed/wanted it to do. A good easy to use music/podcast player that can play games, store apps etc. and its not an apple product.

Samsung 4-Inch Galaxy Player
Pros: Sound, features, speakers, lots of apps, expands, battery
Cons: my favorite game has a limited play edition
PLUS;<br />Processor is fast<br />The size of the screen is bigger than my iTouch screen without much larger in size than the iTouch.<br />There are plenty of accessories available on eBay including extra/spare batteries.at reasonable cost, so you can keep on playing.<br />The sound from the speakers is better than the iTouch.<br />You can expand this player up to 32GB micro sd card.<br />It has a nice FM built in radio, non-WiFi dependent, nice touch, that is not available on the Apple player.

Samsung 4-Inch Galaxy Player
Pros: Easy to use and upload music
I have always been an iPod fan, until I bought the Samsung Galaxy Player. I decided to buy this because I was sick of iTunes and the hassle it was to upload music. This player is AWESOME and the features are WONDERFUL!! It is so simple to upload music, pics, and apps. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a change from the iPod.

Samsung 4-Inch Galaxy Player
This device lives up to its name. when my zune from 2007 was beginning to give up on me, i was being recommended to use my android phone(samsung gravity smart) as an mp3 player, i wasnt comfortable with it because everytime i use it for that it slows down production of my phone and the apps. thats when i saw the galaxy player. works similar to a galaxy phone except without the phone and it turned out better for me. the operating systems were about the same except galaxy uses 2.3 gingerbread whi gravity smart use 2.2 froyo. though most people prefer an all in one device, i like to have my mp3 player for,(Gps, web browser, camera and videos) seperate from my phone( for email, weather, sports and news) to expand the life of both of them so it wont be interupted by incomming calls. and besides, i can always tether my android phone to this device so i can have 4G on both anyway.

Samsung 4-Inch Galaxy Player
Pros: Just about everything
Cons: Slippery as a bar of soap
I bought this player as a replacement for a Palm PDA which is all but abandoned by Palm One. I was hoping that some of the apps would be developed for the Android market. One of the apps finally made it and this is one the main reasons for buying the Galaxy. But when I learned about the potential, I am amazed at all the functions that are available. I didn't need or want a &quot;smart&quot; phone. This player is what fits the bill for me without paying any more bills, like data fees, ect. Plus it is a terrific MP3 player. I could go on, but it would be repeating what so many people have said already.

Samsung 4-Inch Galaxy Player
The sound quality is good, and the screen is crystal clear - video and photos look amazing (maybe better than my HDTV). It was easy to use and program, and love the capability to download apps from the Android store. The price was a bit high, but I think it will be a good investment over the long-term.<br />Great alternative for those of us who don't like Apple products.

Samsung 4-Inch Galaxy Player
Pros: Great battery life;
Cons: I wish you did not have to take the back cover off to change the micro SD card.
I purchased this as a replacement for an aging iPod Touch 2nd gen (16gb). I have been using this mp3/media player for about 2 weeks now and am very glad I bought it. I found it easy to use and love the ability to swap out micro SD cards. I put in a 32 gb card and have a long way before I run out of space. It is easy to use, (totally compatible with Mac OS X Lion and Ubuntu Linux), very nice screen, and just fun. Also, I was very surprised to see the large selection of Android apps. The battery life is phenomenal, especially for audio. Another feature that I like is that the battery is replaceable. That was one feature of the iPod that has always bothered me.

I have several apple products and decided to try this since I enjoy the android phones. I love it, best decision I ever made. It is very simple to put songs onto, plus you don't have to download any additional software. Great buy!

Samsung 4-Inch Galaxy Player
Pros: Size for me
Cons: Size for heavy video users - see Samsung's 5" version
With a Wi-Fi connecrion this can do anything you want, even make calls via Skype. For heavy browsing and video, I mihgt consider the 5&quot; version but this one hits the perfect spot, for me, combining usability and portability. I've seen nothing else to compare (and I used to have an Archos).
