I own 4 other Bose speaker products & thrilled to take to the pool & when I go out of town. It goes everywhere with me. Purchased 2 leather covers to interchange & can't say enough wonderful things. My friends love it to.

Bose SoundLink Wireless 1.0 Speaker System - Wireless Speaker(s) - Black
Pros: Sound Quality
Cons: No Remote
Picked this up to replace an old Sony dock seeing as how I upgraded to the iPhone 5 and the old Sony was no longer compatible. I am very particular about sound quality and this little guy blew me away. No matter the music from Frank Sinatra and Michael Buble to Rock, Rap, Country, and even dub step. All types of music sound amazing and come through ultra clear. The Sony had good bass but flattened out at high volumes. Bose knows how to do it and provides the best bass out of any portable sound system. Blows the Beats $350 system away at even high volume. Clarity and massive bass coming out of a remarkably small and extremely portable device. Get it... you wont be disappointed.

Bose SoundLink Wireless 1.0 Speaker System - Wireless Speaker(s) - Black
Pros: Portable. Blue Toot connectivity.
Cons: The sound. It's very muffled. You must use it with an equalizer.
I bought this version of the SoundLink from Best Buy based on the display at the store. The sales guy assured me that there was no difference between the SoundLink 1 and SoundLink 2. Boy was he wrong. Upon setting this up at home, I was immediately displeased with the sound quality. Sounded better if I could play it through iTunes as there is an equalizer in iTunes. But most of my music listening is through Spotify, which doesn't have an equalizer. The sound was very flat and muffled as other have complained. I took it back and exchanged it for the SoundLink 2 after reading that Bose made improvements to the sound in the second version. They did indeed. Huge difference in sound quality. The version 2 sounds great right out of the box. Do not wast your rime with version 1.

Bose SoundLink Wireless 1.0 Speaker System - Wireless Speaker(s) - Black
Pros: Sound to size ratio quality it superb
Cons: nothing
Phenomenal sound compared to other rinky dink bluetooth speakers. This thing is up near the Beats by Dr Dre bluetooth speaker for 400 bucks! Bass isnt as loud of course cause that thins made strictly for bumpin rap songs (naturally). Big Jambox is a great BT player as well but this thing is suppeerrbbb!!

Bose SoundLink Wireless 1.0 Speaker System - Wireless Speaker(s) - Black
Pros: The looks. The portability. The integrated smartcover.
Cons: The sound has almost no treble.
I bought a SoundLink (original, not the newly-released SoundLink II) yesterday. I returned it today. Most of the other reviewers here must have taken a big ole' drink of Bose Kool-Aid before they wrote their reviews.

Bose SoundLink Wireless 1.0 Speaker System - Wireless Speaker(s) - Black
Pros: Nice sound, Good Battery Life, Nice Looks
Cons: Price is a little high, Could sound a little clearer
Bought the Bose SoundLink from local Best Buy and had it for a day. After I brought it home I didn't feel like it sounded like a "$300" speaker. I took it back the next day after reading some reviews online that Logitech had a wireless boom box for $119 and it sounded better than the Bose. Had the Logitech for a day and understood why the Bose was $300 and felt that taking it back wasn't such a wise choice. The Logitech had a cheap feel to it and the wife wasn't to impressed how it looked. Yes the Logitech sounded better as far as highs. If The SoundLInk had tweeters then it would sound awesome but Bose stuff tends to have warm sound. But it dose not sound bad. I have been into anything and everything to do with sound all my life. Weather it was home theater, Pro Audio, car audio etc. I have always been critical on how stuff sounds. The things that I like about the Bose the most is the battery life, and how it looks. The stand that doubles as a grill protector is pretty sweet too. I noticed that when I had this connected with my computer that it didn't sound as good as it did when it was connected to my iPhone or iPad. So needless to say I took the Logitech back and got another SoundLInk. Now that I have had it for a week and got to use it over the weekend out camping with friends and family I really got to put it to the test and really like it. I have listened to it everyday since I got it and am really happy with much purchase. Sure there may be some others out there that sounds better but Bose managed to pull off something that is more than just a good sounding speaker. Its packed with alot of other great features as well.

Was heartbroken when a heavy wind blew my umbrella, SoundLink and table off the deck and down 12ft to the patio, thought my favorite toy was gone. Thankfully only a scratch on the volume + button was all that happened, still sounds great!!

Bose SoundLink Wireless 1.0 Speaker System - Wireless Speaker(s) - Black
Pros: Looks
Cons: Price & Performance
This Bose Soundlink Wireless speaker is trying to accomplish two things and it does neither of them very well….This speaker is trying to be both a computer speaker and a mobile speaker for someone who wants to play music from their Bluetooth mobile devices.

Bose SoundLink Wireless 1.0 Speaker System - Wireless Speaker(s) - Black
When I first got the soundlink I loved it. The portability of it is fantastic. The build quality is probably the best thing about it. Then I found a problem with it. At night when I go to bed I like to listen to music at lower levels and the lower end of the spectrum really over powers the mid and highs on the soundlink. It does it at higher levels too but not as bad. So in the end I just didn't feel like it was worth the $300 price tag. Now if it was $200 that would be a great deal. So I took it back after having it for 3 weeks and exchanged it for the Sony rdp-xf300ip and wow what a difference for the money. The Sony is not as portable but its still portable and it has so much more for your money. Its 250 but I got it on sale for 200. Its bluetooth, has a slide out ipod doc, fm radio, front display, 5 eq settings, and around 7 hour battery life. And last the mids and highs are freaking awesome on the Sony. GET ONE!

Bose SoundLink Wireless 1.0 Speaker System - Wireless Speaker(s) - Black
Pros: Sound Quality.
Cons: Was not easy to set up with Macbook
The Soundlink is my favorite purchase this year. I am able to move it from one room to another in my house. I have also taken it outside to listen while grilling. The sound quality is excellent as you would expect from Bose.

Bose SoundLink Wireless 1.0 Speaker System - Wireless Speaker(s) - Black
Pros: Attractive Design, Easy to Mount, Easy To Set Up, Good Power Output, Great Sound Quality
This speaker was the perfect solution for me, though my usage is a bit unusual. I am teaching my son tennis, so I tooth this speaker from my Galaxy "S III" on the public tennis courts. My phone plays the music to help my son & I with anger management when we make bad shots. Plenty of power (we only play music when courts are empty) and very clear sound. Nice compact size too...easy enough to fit in our tennis bag. Battery always lasts through our practice sessions.

Bose SoundLink Wireless 1.0 Speaker System - Wireless Speaker(s) - Black
Pros: Ease of use. Great sound quality.
Cons: Price
Great speaker. Easily connects via bluetooth. To save money I made the mistake of purchasing the Altec Lansing iMW725 inMotion Air wireless speaker. After a short time it stopped connecting to any bluetooth device and the Altec Lansing's support was terrible. The Bose speaker though expensive works as expected and provides great sound.

Bose SoundLink Wireless 1.0 Speaker System - Wireless Speaker(s) - Black
Pros: bass, number of devices remembered
Cons: the mid and high ranges
After reading several reviews on the Bose Soundlink I decided to give it a try. the device seems very well made and I liked the ability to replace the battery. There were some reviews mentioning the mid and high end being washed out, but the majority stated it was not bad. If you are really into bass this device delivers, but voice is pushed into the background. I listen to several types of music from classical to heavy metal to pod casts. classical was mostly washed out and pod casts were difficult to hear. I will be returning the device and trying something else.

Bose SoundLink Wireless 1.0 Speaker System - Wireless Speaker(s) - Black
Pros: Unbelievable sound quality from such a small package.
Cons: Nothing
The speaker has the feel of quality, and the sound does not dissappoint. Bass and separation are excellent even at low volume. It is a "must have" for all ipad owners.

Bose SoundLink Wireless 1.0 Speaker System - Wireless Speaker(s) - Black
Pros: Everything is great
Cons: nothing
I was able to connect via Bluetooth with iPhone, an Android phone and my MacBook Pro. The sound is absolutely amazing. The only issue I had with the device was during initial pairing using Bluetooth. Then I read the directions and it ended up being really easy.
