i purchased this mp3 player back in September of 2007 and have not had a problem to date. This was the first mp3 player i ever bought and at Christmas i decided i wanted something with more memory because i have around 5000 songs on my computer alone. so i tired a long list of mp3 players including the SanDisk Sansa View 16 GB Video MP3 Player (Black), Archos 605 Wi-Fi Portable Media Player (80 GB), Apple iPod classic 80 GB 6G (Black) and the Apple iPod touch 16 GB without Software Updates. all of which did not work as well as i wanted to i ended up returning all of them and sticking with my Samsung. i see some people have problems with playlists. not a factor for me all my music is dope is i just let it play all songs. i hope they make one with more memory because i would love to upgrade with the same product

I bought this Samsung YP-K3JAB 4GB as a replacement for the 2GB model which I lost due to not having a carry case.
Through Overstock, not only did I find the replacement, but with the combined price of a carry case I paid less than the cost of the "cheaper" lost unit.

I got this for xmas, and love it! It's tiny, attractive and sleek as heck! The sound is VERY GOOD. Navigation is easy and self-explanatory, not that I require much where that is concerned nor do I have any basis for comparison. The pad is completely flat and so pressing the buttons does take some getting used to (it's veeeery sensitive; subtle taps are all that's needed - any more than that will take you back more than one menu). The LED display is really kickin', and I'm highly impressed they made something so classy looking with the simple (energy efficient!) LED. Everything right down to the box it's shipped in is classy. Go look at the video reviews on YouTube. It's seriously nice.
This also has an FM radio tuner as well as a thing for photos that I haven't fiddled with yet. It will sort all your music by genre if you like, or if you import playlists it can do that as well. You have to put those together in the software before it's transferred over to the device though.
