Netgear Universal Dual Band Wireless Internet Adapter for TV & Blu-Ray (WNCE3001)
Pros: Idea
Cons: Doesn't work
I got this because I have a blu ray player that does not have wifi built in. I set it up and it worked great for about 2 weeks then started dropping connection every time I tried to use. I would have to power cycle it to get it to work then it would only work for about 5 min. It was not the router or the wifi at the house as I tried it in different locations and my laptop works just fine in the same location. It would not maintain connection for video or even Pandora which was really annoying. I'm thinking I might have got a bad one so will swap it out and change review if the next one lives up to the task.

Netgear Universal Dual Band Wireless Internet Adapter for TV & Blu-Ray (WNCE3001)
I used this to connect to a RT-N66R for lots of media streaming to a XBMC workstation.. hi-def videos play with no problem. Works way better then the power line adapters I had in the house earlier.

Netgear Universal Dual Band Wireless Internet Adapter for TV & Blu-Ray (WNCE3001)
Pros: Easy to install and use
We have an older blue ray player that sometimes needed upgraded and we would have to download to a CD and run on the blue ray player. Sometimes successful and sometimes not. Now we just set the computer to upgrade and it does it on its own with no problems

Netgear Universal Dual Band Wireless Internet Adapter for TV & Blu-Ray (WNCE3001)
Pros: once you get it connected, it is wonderful
Cons: the installation instructions is not clear
We discovered that in order to get movies streamed to our new television set, we needed this additional equipment. Once we got it home, it took us many tries to understand how to install it. Once we discovered that it has to be connected to our actual router before connecting to the television, the equipment started working. I wish the instructions was as clear or our movies are now.

Netgear Universal Dual Band Wireless Internet Adapter for TV & Blu-Ray (WNCE3001)
Pros: Easy to set up
Cons: none so far
This product works just as it suppose to. Its easy to setup and works great for its intended purpose. I bought the WNCE3001 to use with my Pioneer SC-61 receiver, it works perfectly and is 100 dollars less then the Pioneer AS-WL300 Wireless Network Adapter.

Netgear Universal Dual Band Wireless Internet Adapter for TV & Blu-Ray (WNCE3001)
Pros: Dual band Wi-Fi and "N" upgrade for a "G" device
Cons: Couldn't get it to work with a PS3
I got this to upgrade my PS3's very slow internal Wi-Fi "G" adapter. When it worked, this was a great device, but unfortunately, it didn't work with the PS3 much of the time. It was ok on the laptop, when I turned off its Wi-Fi, but for the PS3, I was frequently getting a "No Ethernet Connection" message (or a similar message). This would cause all media servers to drop and I'd have to start over. I ended up getting the cheaper 2.4GHz only model, which works fine. I just wish I didn't have to give up 5GHz access to fix this problem. Tech support tried to help, but without success. Setup was also troublesome as I had to reset it to make changes between bands (I tried both 5GHz and then 2.4GHz, but it didn't solve my problem). Both Wi-Fi band signals at the PS3's location are decent, though not strong.

Netgear Universal Dual Band Wireless Internet Adapter for TV & Blu-Ray (WNCE3001)
Pros: Design, Charger Cable, Dual Band
Cons: Price, Non-Gigabit Ethernet Port
First off, my decision was going to be between the WNCE2001 and the WNCE3001 - I chose the WNCE3001 primarily due to the following reason(s): Design, Charger Cable (either via power outlet or via USB), Dual Band. Although it was $59.99 (could be cheaper I think), I just wished it came with gigabit ethernet port, however, I have it connected to a HDTV just for web access (smart TV functions) and it suites it just fine. Overall, if you're looking for a Wi-Fi Adapter to connect an electronic device using an ethernet cable, then I'd highly recommend taking a look, or at least giving the WNCE3001 a shot!

Netgear Universal Dual Band Wireless Internet Adapter for TV & Blu-Ray (WNCE3001)
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
Don't waste your time with this garbage unless you like getting real friendly with the customer service people from India. Waste of time all around. Went back to Best Buy after 3 days of aggravation and bought an Airport Express. Worked like a charm - no problem after set-up.

Netgear Universal Dual Band Wireless Internet Adapter for TV & Blu-Ray (WNCE3001)
Pros: pretty lights
Cons: Intermittent performance
We hooked it to a Slingbox and got about 400Kbps when streaming 90% of the time. the other 10% was close to 2000Kbps. When we replaced the Netgear with a Apple Airport Express, it was always at least 2000Kbps.

Netgear Universal Dual Band Wireless Internet Adapter for TV & Blu-Ray (WNCE3001)
Pros: Ease of set up
Easy to set up, and runs like a hard line connection. Running video through it and it runs fine. Just make sure your router has a WPS function to accept the device. Once they are synced, it's all good.

Netgear Universal Dual Band Wireless Internet Adapter for TV & Blu-Ray (WNCE3001)
Pros: Dependable device. Easy to install.
I purchased and installed the Netgear adapter into my network for use with streaming to my Blu-Ray player for the TV. I use 5 different devices (including a TIVO on another TV) on my network NOT INCLUDING the Netgear Adapter on the Blu-Ray. I've NEVER lost a connection to Netflix or VUDU or any other service that I use through it.<br />My router sits quite a distance from the Netgear adapter and it's never given me the slightest incconvenience. It's easy to install and a rock solid hook-up!-If you need a Wi-Fi hook-up ,this is the Networker's choice!

Netgear Universal Dual Band Wireless Internet Adapter for TV & Blu-Ray (WNCE3001)
Cons: Didn't work
While normally I like everything NetGear and have several Netgear products in my home, This product was a dud. My connection to the internet is a NetGear device, but this product could not find it. I moved to within 15 ft and was unable to link up. Best Buy was great taking it back.
