The space bar never worked correctly. It would work every third or forth touch which was quite frustrating. It replaced an old XP box so I was heart broken when Best Buy had to send it off for repairs. It was fast, easy to set up, but it had a good bit of bloat ware. I liked the screen and the audio speakers.

Do not buy Toshiba products. I purchased a Toshiba P755($800) Xmas 2011 and it has been back to Toshiba 4 times for poor battery performance. They have provided me a new battery 3 times and a new motherboard over the last 5 months. Out of those 5 months, I probably had the computer about 2.5 of them – eat up that warranty! I told them that their literature says the battery will last up to 6+ hours. Toshiba told me the 6+ hours is with nothing run……sitting idle! This will not even let me watch a DVD during a flight (which was one of the main reasons why I bought this). Wow. That’s like telling me a car gets 150 MPG, but not telling me it’s only when it is going downhill. I told them that the battery indicator would bounce around between 1 and 2 hours, after a full charge, and the computer would barely last 1 hour. Today (8/15/2012) they told me they are done with any battery issues I have and that they will not fix anything else associated with the battery. Their product and customer service totally stinks. This is my second, and last, Toshiba laptop/computer! Research their products…..they are no longer a quality company. They have gone the route of Sony (which I used to love) and Toyota (which I used to love) – bad quality/service.

It is the fastest laptop I bought in my life. This is my third Toshiba and still having an excellent opinion on these devices. It is also very lightweight and the price paid seems like a "best buy option". Perhaps the only negative element is that has not a Bluetooth connection, which is considered almost a basic element in any modern computer.

Overall, I think this is a great laptop. I've had it for about a month now and have very minor complaints. I am not picky when it comes to laptops/technology, so if you are, then this may not be the laptop for you. It is lightweight for the size and seems to consistently run very quickly. My previous laptop had a loud fan which was what I wanted to avoid with a new laptop, and I am very pleased with this fan sound (barely noticeable) even when running on high performance. If I had to find some cons, it may be that the laptop material seems somewhat cheap but personally that doesn't bother me at all. Sometimes the positioning of the mouse bad gets in the way when typing and moves the mouse around on the screen but really not a big deal. I would definitely recommend this laptop to someone who is looking for a laptop better than the $500 ones and not quite a high-end macbook, etc.

I recently purchased this Toshiba laptop to replace a 4+ year old Dell EV620 laptop that died. I have never owned a Toshiba before, but the "computer guy" I hired to evaluate the old Dell's problems strongly recommended them to me as an excellent choice for a new laptop. An acquaintance who also recently replaced an old laptop that died got the same recommendation from his computer guy. So far, I am very pleased; I think this PC provides excellent value. I was also happy with the online shopping experience and on time delivery I got from J&R, and I would buy from them again.

Great for browsing the web, listening to recordings,online banking. Picture and video clarity are great. Good sound for size of speakers. Volume is good as you can hear well while doing other tasks around the house. The mousepad is sometmes too quick to respond and takes some getting used to. Overall I would definitely buy again and recommend to others.
