Great Camera For The Price!

Love it! Very easy to use. Some advanced features are a little intimidating, but the instruction booklet is pretty easy to follow. Takes wonderful pictures! Definitely worth the money!

Easy to Use; Good Photos

After briefly reviewing the abbreviated instruction booklet, I was able to take photos with ease. The camera has great features and a huge screen. Battery charges quickly and holds the charge for a long time. My daughter's birthday is next week and she is getting this camera as well.

great replacement camera

purchased this to replace my same camera that was stolen in a restaurant. Great quality camera, and a great price at overstock. Would recommend getting a larger memory card too, as the one included only allows about 14 pictures before it is full. Overstock shipped it the same day, and I received it that night! Wow!

DO NOT BUY THIS CAMERA!

I am sending in my second Digital Elph for repairs and i am expecting a similar outcome as the first. The lens on these cameras frequently malfunction, making them virtually worthless. The first time the lens malfunctioned, Canon claimed it was something I did and therefore, was not covered by the warranty. Believing them and loving the camera, I purchased a second one just five months after purchasing the first. Not even eight months later, the second camera did essentially the same thing, flashing "Lens Error" just moments after I successfully used the camera. I called Canon for the second time and gave a similar explanation as written here. They gave me zero sympathy or concern. After doing some research, it appears Canon has received numerous complaints on the Digital Elph lens as it frequently malfunctions. Canon PowerShot SD750

This is the first digital camera I have ever purchased, but after seeing various friends and relatives use their cameras I finally decided to purchase one and asked around. The consensus was that Canon made a good product. I then looked for simplicity of use and found all of these in this camera. I've practiced with this a bit and found that it is just as easy to learn to use and it takes excellent picture. I also like the ability to make the picture zoom in or out even after I've snapped the shot. This appeared to be in the mid-to-low price range for this type of equipment. Overstock showed other items purchased with this camera, one of which was a 2 gb memory card - which is perfect as I'm going on a trip to DisneyWorld and this will be able to hold all the pictures I wish to take and keep.

Great Compact Camera - 5 Stars

I wanted a new camera for our vacation and was very satisfied with this Canon. The clarity of our pictures were excellent and very colorful. I expecially like the small size that fit in my purse; it so sleek. Love my new Camera. Has many advanced features that I haven't got into yet. But overall, it was a great price for this quality camera.

Nice Camera

This is probably the coolest, non-professional camera I have seened. I got it bc a friend of mine had it. It has cool features that allow you to shot in accent colors and swap colors. I made my blonde-haired sister's hair red and her mouth blue! It's very entertaining. There are other features I have yet to fully explore, but I am excited to do. The screen is large and it's sturdily built. I am very happy with my camera. Can't wait to have an opportunity to take some amazing pictures.

Best digicam with Large LCD

I bought this digicam and used it for a while now. I am very happy with the results.
Auto mode is very good for shooting pictures even if you dont know anything about photography. Face recognition is good.
Touch dial is excellent in still mode as well as Playback mode.
Performs well in low light conditions also.

Beautiful

I love this digital camera, my husband has two digital cameras. other well known brand names, & I never liked them.
This camera is so easy to use,(I didn't konw it could do so much!) & the pictures are absolutely colorful & gorgeous & on top of that I can carry it in my purse! The LCD is so easy to see it's perfect!

Good camera for the price

The camera is pretty good. I wish there was less noise when zoomed in to 100%
I haven't had any problems with it but I wish it had image stabilization sometimes. Colors look good to me but there is always the noise/blurriness problem.

The form factor of the camera is ok but it's really really small. I'm a bigger guy so it is a big downside. (But all cameras at this price are made for children's hands.)

It's a good buy for anything less than two hundred dollars.
(Don't buy it from DBROTH though)

Wow!. Lives up to its reputation. Great! Just took it to Italy and it impressed some of the other travelers who had really nice cameras.

Great camera, great decision to buy

I was looking for a slim camera (used to own the Casio exilim, but it dropped once and broke) and was going to purchase the Casio again, but my boyfriend kept commenting on how awful the picture quality was. So after some research we agreed to purchase the Canon Powershot. We couldn't be happier, it is still small, but the picture quality truly is amazing. There are a lot of settings that help enhance the picture and the shutter time is quick. Overall I am quite pleased (granted I haven't dropped it yet, so hopefully it won't break should it get dropped). Cancun beach, water, indoor and outdoor shots all came out amazing. Even the night time shot of the entire resort by moonlight came out, though it did take a minute to figure out what settings to put it on. Definitely recommend getting this if you are looking for a small camera that takes great pictures.

I bought this camera a week before i left to go to israel- wow- what a camera!!!!!! i did buy a a bigger card, but other than that, i was taking pictures - very easy to operate- i have not yet read the operation manaual. It is light weight, compact and very impressive picture quality. i was surprised that the battery held a charge for so long too. the only drawback- if it is a drawback- now i have to share all my photos with the rest of the group that i traveled with!!!! the pictures were much clearer and more detail it seems then the other digital camera that was being used by others. The zoom feature is raelly nice too!

SD 750

This camera is the best!! The ease of using it and the size are just what I wanted. The display screen is so large compared to my old camera. I would wholeheartly recommend this camera to anyone.
The speed in shipping it was fantastic. Only 3 days.

Great Camera!

What a deal!!! This is the camera exactly like in the commercials. It's fabulous, super thin with lots of great features. I would definitely buy the same one again in a heartbeat!

This camera was purchased as a christmas gift for my Mother, she loved it. It sleek, hip, and something that my mom talks about all the time. It was a great buy!

Missing a few things

I bought the Canon Elph SD750 to replace an Elph S410 (Loved this camera it went everywhere with me literally which is why after 4 years of abuse it died after a water ride incident). Now I had to have another Canon Elph, newer models could only get better right. Well I have a few complaints. - The flash is so powerful it blows out so much if your not very careful.-Red-eye happens in almost every photo. yes there is a function in the camera to get rid of it but what happened to the red-eye flash. - In low light situations there is so much noise even with the flash being used. I now avoid low light areas where I use to love shooting them my previous canon barely ever had noise. A few things I like the bigger screen, the many settings (snow, underwater who would have thought). Its much lighter than my previous elph, the customizing of certain buttons is nice. The drag between hitting the shutter button and the camera actually shooting has greatly improved.Overall, I'm disappointed at the  more

Great Camera!!

I got this as a gift from my fiance'.. it has been an awesome camera, the pics I took while we were in New Orleans were fantastic!! So good, that I posted them so they could be seen but not stolen :).. Very impressed - only drawback is that it takes a specialized battery, does not take AA batteries.

Great Camera with tons of features

I got this camera as a gift for my father and he hasn't stopped taking pictures since. While taking a shot outside a bird flew into the shot and you can see it perfectly clear it is amazing. A great deal!

Great Camera

I Love this camera!! It's compact, the LCD screen is about three inches long, the camera works wonderfully, the pictures come out great, the software to share, download and manage your photos online is cool, as you get to select which and how many photos you want to download. The videos you record are wonderful, they are clear and bright, and you can lower the volume, if it's too high. Love the camera, recommend it a 100%.

Very Pleased

My new Canon SD750 is everything i could ask for in a digital. I did a lot of research online before I bought it and it paid off. The only minus is that there are so many features which are somewhat complicated to understand without extensively studying the user books. I love the 3" LCD screen. It's so easy to see the subjects clearly.

Great for Concerts - YouTube

We bought this camara for my teenager for an important day and were very pleased with the audio. The pics clear but the audio was like being in the same again. Easy to download to YouTube. Would get the camara ahead of the special day and play around with it, lots of neat things can be done with this. Enjoy

Wonderful

Great camera, takes wonderful pictures - especially when you're moving. My husband and I purchased this camera for my mother who was in the market for a new camera. She had an old AA battery operated Olympus camera and she liked our Sony camera that had a large 3.0 touch screen. We shopped for 2 months and saw that Canon had unsurpassed photo quality and decided to go with this one because it has the large 3.0 LCD screen. She LOVES it. She travels about 3-4 times a year and is frequently on tour buses. It takes very fine and superb quality pictures. The color is outstanding and she never gets a bad shot with this camera. It's also simple enough for her to use - she's not into all the special effects that complicate most cameras this days. Plug into the computer and transfer pictures...and you're done. I'm thinking of selling our SONY touchscreen digital camera to get a Canon!!!!

Very good

It's a very good camera. The LCD is great, the colors arevery well rendered. Very quick camera and easy too use. Butmost of all, it has a wider lens range than the otherequivalent models.Very good quality-price product.

Great product

It's very light weight and it's very thin with a great LCD (no view pointer in this camera. How often do you use it anyway?) and features. The quality of pictures taken indoor and outdoor is great . The price for the camera is right .

Splendid point & shoot

Amazing lcd, so many features for the price. Great speed,and so small! I couldn't be happier. I ordered it formB&H, shipping was standard 3-5 business days, but I got itin 2 (I live in Mass.). So many features, so there will be much to learn.
