Super Paper Mario: Nintendo Wii
Pros: 3D Flip Mario, Bowser, and Peach Pixels
Cons: TOO MUCH READING, THEY DON'T SHUT UP!
I absoultely love this game, it's the best game that I have for Wii in my opinion. The 2D »
3D mode is awesome, and I love that you can play as Mario, Bowser, and Peach (if you get far enough.) However, there's definitely too much talking in it! But other than that, it really brings back the fun of the original super mario bros. games (which I have on virtual console
). If you own a Wii, you have to buy this game!

The game is good for 11-15 year old children. There is a lot of reading and it is a bit complex but still easy enough. Great if your child doesn't like to read unless it is a game!!

Super Paper Mario: Nintendo Wii
I thought that I was going to have to wait until Super Mario Galaxy came out for a truly great Mario game but Super Paper Mario definately delivers! The 3D flip adds so much to the game play. The tasks are clever and require the proper amount of thought that make for pleasant, but not utterly frustratiing, brain teasers. The art styling is beautiful and the music is good too. I especialliy like the use of the Wii-mote speaker. I highly reccommend this game to anyone from first time Mario players to Mario veterans!

Super Paper Mario: Nintendo Wii
Super Paper Mario is a game that brings back the fond memories of playing the Super Mario Bros. games from the NES days and the Super Mario World games from a console generation later. The truly unique component of SPM is that the player can "flip" between the two-dimensional realm and the three-dimensional realm. The player can traverse through a level in 2-D, but may need to flip to 3-D to uncover a secret tunnel or passageway that would be impossible to see from a 2-D perspective.

The gameplay is solid and carries on the core style from previous Paper Mario games. The primary difference is that there are no more classic RPG elements like turn based battles. All enemies are fought on screen in the 'Old School Mario Game' way. You'll be able to control different characters and use other abilities to help you along.

The game is full of funny and wholesome humor that really amused me. There is one particular part of the game in which the player encounters a "super geek" and the

Super Paper Mario: Nintendo Wii
Super Paper Mario, like the Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess, was originally a Gamecube game that was moved on over to the Wii. Still, it's definitely a game we've been waiting for and definitely a game worth getting a hold of. Simply put, this is one of the games Wii owners ought to want.

The storyline in Super Paper Mario isn't really anything special, but it's certainly one to honor for its fine script and clever writing. An evil magician named Count Bleck plans on taking over the world, and as Mario you'll need to stop him by finding the pieces of the purity heart that'll allow you to do so. In truth, the storyline is actually really crazy, but I'd rather not give too much away. It's actually a really enjoyable story Mario fans will love in the long run.

The game is very dialogue heavy but you'll absolutely love the dialogue. It's clever, witty, and Super Paper Mario is by far the funniest game I've ever played. The characters do things like acknowledge they're in a video

Super Paper Mario: Nintendo Wii
I thought this would be like old school Mario. It's cute but I just don't get it. The pace is very slow, kind of boring. Going through lots of doors. Not for me, I guess I have a short attention span!

I agree with other posters that there is a lot to read in this game; however, it's an excellent game and getting through the reading material is fun and has an intriguing storyline. If you're looking for something that reminds you of the old console but adds a new, innovative twist; then this is the game for you.

Super Paper Mario: Nintendo Wii
This has to be the worse Mario game ever. I love Mario games and this was very dissapointing. First you have to click and read through 10 minutes of back and forth messages. Then you have to read crap like every other minute. The game itself is also dum. I would say it is for a 3 year old but they would not be able to read it. It is really dumb. Sorry I wasted my money on it. On ebay it goes after the boycott.

Super Paper Mario: Nintendo Wii
I bought this game because of the reviews in the Nintendo Power magazine. I played Paper Mario 1 and 2 and they were awesome.

Super Paper Mario (aka Paper Mario 3) is a good game. I enjoyed playing it; however it is not as good as its two predecessors. It's good that Nintendo changed some things about this game; however, they ended up with the same side scrolling platform-like game, besides the brief moments of Mario in the 3D world, which made the only interesting part of the game.

An RPG has to be in 3D, or at least in perspective view to bring a good feel. I like changes for good. Like another review I read about this game; I loved the fact of Mario having a Jet-pack-like device in Super Mario Sunshine. I loved Zelda, Wind Waker, with its funny graphics (but, if someone changes the Zelda style of game and I'll trash my Nintendo right there). This brought new ideas for the game. But going back for 2D as they did in Paper Mario 3 with only few 3D moments for an RPG is somehow disappointing.

Super Paper Mario: Nintendo Wii
My 7 yr old and I play this a lot together. It's a difficult game, but not too hard. It's really engrossing. Totally our favorite game on the Wii.

People complain about the story being slow, and I tend to agree. However, it's not too bad, and there are so many other things which are fun about the game.

Super Paper Mario: Nintendo Wii
As much as I enjoyed Super Paper Mario, I just wasn't impressed by any part of it. It's a cute Mario game (as they all are) but I never felt like I was really playing an RPG and the endless dialogue bubbles really slow the game down.

The levels are colorful and bright and look absolutely gorgeous. The music is pleasant enough but the trademark Mario theme barely gets a mention. As for the gameplay, well...it's standard Mario platform stuff with the new addition of flipping to 3D and some unique abilities with the Wii controller. It's nothing to write home about.

For 20 hours I stuck with this game and by the bitter end I felt like I could have used that time to do something better. Honestly nothing in this game impresses and if I didn't have a photographic memory I'd be completely forgetting about it in a week. If that makes any sense.

So...very...very...slow. I don't like video games like this. If I wanted to read a book I'd read one. In the end, it's the endless dialogue that cripples

Super Paper Mario: Nintendo Wii
One of the biggest transitions for video games during the seventh generation is the fact that more and more games are adding more and more online content. While no one is going to argue the fact that this is great for gaming, it sort of hurts those who love a good single player experience. Super Paper Mario answers this call and is a staple among the first wave of Wii games. It doesn't have a multiplayer mode but then again there are a million multiplayer games already out for Wii.

Super Paper Mario is the original Mario Bros meets Paper Mario. It isn't quite one or the other, it's a little of both. I was disappointed by this at first because I loved the turn based action of the first one when I was younger but after about an hour of playing I started to get hooked. The dialogue is very funny and even though it's long it's very enjoyable if you take the time to read it.

The storyline is similar to that of every Mario game, big bad captures Princess Peach, Mario saves the day. Only this

Super Paper Mario: Nintendo Wii
Nintendo is my favorite company when it comes to gaming systems, we have had all systems and nintendo is the only one that lasts. As always, whenever new systems come out, here comes our trusty MARIO, this game is awesome, it is so much fun. Not just for the young ones in the family but for the young at heart also. My husband and myself also play Super Paper Mario, it is so much fun. Well worth the money!!!!

Super Paper Mario: Nintendo Wii
I am a 26 year old recent Wii purchaser (that was an ordeal) and have been out looking for games. I now have:

Wii Sports
Wii Play
Excite Truck
Rayman Raving Rabbids (the reason I bought the system, my wife was flipping over this when she saw it)
Resident Evil 4
WarioWare Smooth Moves
and now
Super Paper Mario

I used to play Mario as a kid both on my NES in the late 80's and Super Nintendo back in the early 90's, along with F-Zero and some other games I had. I had a 3DO after that for a while, but then have not gamed for over a decade.

The Wii has marked a triumphantly FUN return to gaming: as above, I am 26 and my wife is 21 and we are both having lots of fun. As for Mario, I must say that Super Paper Mario, for a former-Super-Mario-World player is just a TOP NOTCH experience.

Getting through the "RPG-style" story in the beginning (a style of gaming which I remember seeing friends play on their gameboys) was initially a concern of mine (because I think that stuff is boring), but the
