I bought this item and it seemed OK at first then after just little use people tell me they can't hear me and I fade in and out. It is cheap made and the volume really don't do any help. The ear piece falls off and the headband don't stay in place I have to adjust it all the time.

Great clarity in hearing and according to the person on the other end, they say they can hear me speaking very clearly. There is no distortion in the ear piece and it is comfortable to wear.

I've been working out of a home office for almost 15 years now, and I do a LOT of phone & computer work. About 10 years ago I started looking into hands-free headsets for my phone because I found I was always using my computer (keyboard, mouse, or both) and wanted to free up my hands. Problem was ... each headset I tried had one of two problems; either it was of poor construction quality, and/or it had poor mic and earphone quality or volume. I found myself either returning them, or replacing them at least once a year. But about 4 years ago I came across some good reviews here on Amazon for the Panasonic KX-TCA92, and decided to give that a try. I have always been partial to Panasonic products (I own a plasma TV, microwave oven, and their multi-line phone system). And again with this headset product ... I was not disappointed. The headset is comfortable and easy to adjust (both size-wise and for the mic). It also comes with a volume control and mute button (both handy). But the real benefit to me is the ear piece volume is higher than most any other headset I have tried (regardless of price). For me, being older and having some hearing loss, this was very important. The headset is also well-made and very durable for what it is. Obviously headsets like these are light weight in nature and not built like larger headphones, etc. But this Panasonic model stood up to constant 7 x 365 use for about three years, so I decided to buy another one when the first one finally gave out. I recommend this item highly.

I love this headset. It is one of the best purchases that I could have made. With my friends living so far away from me this is perfect for talking on the phone and I can do other things while I am.

This headset provides good sound quality, both receiving and transmitting. The problem with the mute button is that it must be pressed continuously, and if your thumb fatigues, you get a crackling sound on the line. Do not purchase this unit if you need to have the microphone on mute for extended periods (such as when recording). Get a unit which has a slide switch or toggle mute button.

I can hear clearly and I can be heard clearly. Is that not enough? Very good value. Oh, and no back ground noise when I record using the headset. How awesome is that?

I've used this headset for a couple of years and it has some great features - it is comfortable to wear for extended periods, it's reversible so you can use it on either ear and the listening sound is good.

However, I have had some comments that the microphone is a little quiet - it doesn't cause major issues, but if you work in a noisy environment, that could be a significant factor.

My biggest issue with the headset is the mute button. Unlike other headsets which have an on/off switch for the mute function, this headset requires you to continue to press the mute button. So, when I am in a long teleconference and am trying to multitask, I end up having to find some way to hold the mute down so others cannot hear my typing, etc. Holding it in my teeth has proved the most effective but is clearly sub-optimal!

The ease of the headset were great., I have several portabel phones, so now I can walk around with ease while I am doing other tasks.

Super buy.

I already had one of these but bought another for backup in case first one stops working because I have a MDA disease & it's painful to hold handset while talking & this is what works for me!1

Have been looking and trying out several headsetd for my wife - working from home. All brands (like Philips, etc) had a bad microphone and/or headset volume. This one is really good!!!! no issues with understanding her on the line and she does not have real problems with the volume either. Great Deal.....

The headset is extremely easy to use, however the volume could be louder. It is a little hard to hear the calls sometimes and I've been told I sound soft too.

I bought this headset because it was a step up from the last one I bought. I cannot hear anyone with it. I cannot use it for any reason. I would like to have my money back but it has been too long. I would not recommend it at all.

The headset was easy to adjust and use. Features, mute and volume are good options. A problem is the sound too much base, you cant adjust the volume enough to hear the caller clearly, the caller hears you very bassie too. It does not do justace to the great sound of the Panasonic 5.8Hz phone system. For me it works. I only need it to use the keyboard on the handset for operation calls.

This is the best and nicest headset for the money I've had. It's adjustable both in the head size, the audio and it also has a mute button. Not only is it a great value, it's very comfortable too!
