Excellent. We did lots of research online and in-store. We also checked out consumer magazines, their ratings, and ratings on this site. We never got to see this TV in person at the store, but we decided to go for it because of the excellent reviews. We were able to receive 2 official HD channels on this TV before hooking it up officially with the cable company and their HD box. Amazing, incredible, fantastic. I am now addicted to HD — a whole new world. This screen is big and sharp (for HD). Colors are rich. Love the fact that the TV swivels. This TV is not that difficult to hook up, and has very good sound without adding extra speakers. We added our old stereo system to it, but we forget to turn it on most of the time because the original TV sound is so good. The anti-glare screen works well for us, because we had a big glare problem before and this is a lot better, even though others say it's not that great at stopping glare.
If you get the chance to buy a refurbished one, go for it.

After looking and searching for 2 years for Flat Panel HDTV's, my wife and I decided on the Samsung HPT5064. The television has surpassed all of our expectations. The other thing that was amazing is the service from Amazon. When we ordered this TV, it was offered with free shipping. We ordered the TV on Friday morning, it was delivered to my house Tuesday afternoon--- WOW!!

Some of the reviewers have wrote about certain issues that they have with this product, we have not experienced any problems at all. I would recommend this television to anyone. The design allows us to use this , as the centerpiece in our living room. It has more than enough Inputs. The menu system is very easy to use and configure. Viewing from 9 foot and back, the picture quality is phenomenal. If you are close, 3 feet or closer, you can see a difference between other resolutions (but who watches tv that close??). I watch alot of basketball, the clarity that this brings to my viewing, makes it

I have had this television around two weeks. GREAT picture in HD. Decent analog picture. (Why by an HDTV if youre not gonna watch mostly HD content - doesnt make much sense to me) Sound is so-so. However, when one purchases a television like this, expecting great sound quality should never be one's top priority. Most people hook up receivers and speakers for the sound. If possible, that's the best option if your looking for better audio. Also, get good cables. Best site I have found for audio/video/speaker cable is Monoprice.com - great, quality cables for great prices. You will never buy Monster again after you visit this site. Cables are something that I would generally buy online. Seems to me all the big stores have a ridiculous mark-up on their cables.
