buy these sony 6x9 you will not be unsatisfied...excellent bass...extreme highs...can feel the bass in my 1996 chevrolet lumina...which is a rather big car...my passengers complain every time i turn it up because they can handle the loud note with ease...next step would be to buy the 6 1/2 sony's....EXTREMELY PLEASED...

Good Stuff

This is a very balanced speaker for someone who has a suv. Good clean sound and enough bass to be able to enjoy without an amp and box. sounds even better with two kickin 12s in the back though. dont really need highs but if your gonna go all out i would recommend getting some sort of small tweeter in the front of car.

best speakers i have ever bought

great bass but dish out the few extra bills and have geek squad instal them the right way it took me over two hours to do it and it didn't come out like i wanted so just buy them and have best buy do the work for you cause their grrrreat lol

GREAT Bass, Great Speakers!

I wanted to upgrade my 95 Toyota Camry from the stock speakers and purchased Sony speakers to replace my front and back factory speakers. It was an AWESOME BUY, A BEST BUY! I highly recommend anyone looking to upgrade from factory or just looking to upgrade to purchase the Sony set. These 6X9 speakers have AMAZING bass and is really nice and clean. I recommend going to a Best Buy store and listening to them! You'll be instantly sold! For the price, you're getting amazing quality and reliability!

Good value

I upgraded the speakers that came with my 99 Accord sedan. The "originals" were some 5x7 Polks that have been beaten to death. The cone didn't even move on one side.
These speakers along with the same series 6 1/2" sound pretty good considering that both sets come in under 200 bones.

These are not the best speakers ever but if your upgrading from the OEM or even some chinsey aftermarket stuff these will provide better audio performance.

The bass is surprisingly loud but you can't crank it too high with out some distortion. Understandable given the price range on these speakers.

All in all these are a good buy. I wouldn't hesitate recommending these assuming you don't want rock concert sound levels with super deep bass.

Outstanding sound for a great price!!

I bought the 6" speaker for the doors and loved the sound. I decided to replace the 6"x 9" speakers also. When I turned on the system, I couldnt believe how great the sound is. These speakers will handle the loudest volumes and leave others wanting them also.

Incredible speakers

Got this speakers for my 08 chevy and they fit just like the stock speakers, they really kick some deep bass and they play loud, with 4 of these u dont even need a subwoofer they are really great, the best speakers for the price.

Love Em'

I just put two of these into my Olds. Alero and they sound amazing. For the price, I wasn't so sure of the quality and how good they would hold the high volume. They are great. Awesome bass without any sub woofer and would recommend them to most anyone. Great buy, great quality!!

i jsut installed these today in my 2000 durango man do they bump!!! four of these babys are better than some of my friends sub packages they got. if ur into deep bass and great sound pick these up for the great price.

the BOMB

These speakers are the best i have ever put into my car. For such a great price, they deliver exceptional quality and performance equal to, and probably better than, more expensive speakers. They have great clarity and no distortion at high volumes. Also, if you are into deep bass, and don't want to spend the money on subs, amps, and wiring kits, just adjust the bass on the head unit and send it to these speakers and they deliver pounding bass equal to that of 10" subs. Many times i have had people ask me what kind of system i have in my car, and they usually expect me to say 2 10"s, but they are shocked when i say i have 2 6x9's, because of the incredibly deep bass they deliver. With the volume at 20 (out of 65), these speakers make my rearview mirror rattle. THey are incredible. These speakers make a great purchase for anybody who wants crystal clear music, inexpensive deep bass, or both.

I bought these speakers one week ago and ever since i hooked them up...Wow!! These things are very crisp sounding, look great, and are better than other, more expensive products that i have used in the past. I just can't wait to hook up my new stereo to see if they work even better.
