I've gone through about 75 lightscribe DVD's so far and the response by everybody has been that these are cool. The Lightscribe technology means that you do NOT have to buy labels. Seriously, if you're poking around at blank DVD's and wondering why these are so much more expensive than regular DVD's, read up about "lightscribe". In fact, check out your own DVD burner and see if it says lightscribe on it. If so you will want to download the lightscribe software and at least buy a pack of these for your next few projects. I mention this because I did not realize at first what the lightscribe DVD's were for several months after having a lightscribe burner... granted, I only burned about 5 DVD's in that time. Since figuring it out and burning lots of DVD's these last few weeks and then getting the laser etching covers, I have found out that many other people with lightscribe DVD's did not know what the "lightscribe" part meant until I showed them a lightscribe etched DVD. These memorex ones are great - also consider the colored ones (separate link). Although a bit more it's well worth it to not deal with stickers.
