A Blast to Play!

This game is great! They've finally got the gameplay down with Resident Evil 4. No more static 2D backgrounds here. Everything comes to life with a full 3D environment and a very smooth third person perspective. It's really fun to blast away zombies!! In fact as a reward for completing the game you'll unlock four special zombie killing missions. You'll be pitted against hundreds of the hungry undead as you scramble to find ammo and health.

The graphics and storyline are spectacular and rival some of newer generation games being released today. There's plenty to watch and it'll keep you entertained for several hours. A unique feature is the introduction of merchants. You can collect artifacts worth a pretty penny in order to sell for better guns, more ammo, health and upgrades. Once you've finished the game once you'll be rewarded with the option buy even better weapons. They certainly know how to keep you coming back.

Resident Evil 4 Gamecube for Adults too

First off, let me say that I am 44 years old and this is my first time writing a review of anything. I've owned Resident Evil 4 for 1 year now. I bought it (for $20.00). That was the best $20.00 I've ever spent in my life because this is the best game I've ever played in my life. Still 1 year later I'm having fun with it. I've completed all the levels. I've gotten all the upgraded weapons. I've completed all of the Mercenary levels and the level with Ada. I now have in my arsenal the canon blaster gun, the automatic sniper gun, and the rocket launcher--all with unlimited ammunition. And, yet, I still play on. This game is so immersive. It is addictive. Plan on staying up past midnight on many nights and playing this game while everyone else is asleep.
It is such a rewarding feeling completing certain levels of this game. Hats off to the engineers and artists who designed this brilliant horror interactive story.

Wow, this is simply the best resident evil game i have ever played. Lets start out with the pros.
-Brilliant Graphics and sound that make you devishly excited and purley horrified
-amazing gameplay and controls and make you feel like you are really the character Leon
-great plot and evil characters that send chills down your spin
-great bosses
now, another thing i loved about this game is that it wasnt in a secluded mansion or inside and it never had the difficulty that made you ask "what do i do now?" the maps and levels are pretty straigh forward and the end result is fenominal. out of all of the games on gamecube, this has to be my favorite hands down. BUY IT!!!!!!!!!! i hope this helped.

One of the best gamecube games!

First of all, this is the only Resident Evil game I've played. I don't know what the other games are like, but I'm sure they're fun. This has to be one of the most incredible games in history. It is hard to believe the graphics can be this good on the gamecube. The storyline is very interesting and makes you want to play constantly. The game is mildly long and has some scary parts. NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART!!! The chainsaw villagers creep me out, especially the chainsaw-carrying women. In short, this is one of the best games ever. I consider it to be one of the fab four for the gamecube with Super Smash Bros. Melee, Metroid Prime, and The Wind Waker being the others. BUY THIS GAME!!! You will not regret it.
