Pros: Different Connectors, Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Entertainment In A Box, High Capacity, Plays Almost Every Format
First, I've owned Three WD players and I've purchased an Iomega Player in the past which I've promptly returned because it played limited formats.

The good news is, this is the one player that plays practically every format (the WD player, despite their propaganda, does not).

This unit automatically detects the proper playback format, the WD unit fails miserably.

Now, the bad news. The WD player loads files from accessory hard drives so much faster than this unit. This unit is a dog in terms of speed .. but again .. it plays every format.

I like to load these units up, and when I go on vacation, whether it be Thailand or Millwaukee, and bring several cables to hook up to the Hotel Room tv. I can bring video courses, music, pics, a whole entertainment system in a one piece unit.

IF not for the speed at accessing files, I'd give this 5 stars. Matter of fact, I think I'm going to buy another one for my office.
