Rayman Raving Rabbids may not be the best game released for the PS2, but it has to be one of the funniest and most entertaining entries. The demented mini-games that make up the game remind me of the best of the original looney tunes (certainly more so than the soulless "looney tunes" that are currently churned out). Most of the games are easy enough for kids, but the game is entertaining enough for older gamers. The story mode can be zipped through fairly quickly, but there's a score mode which allows players to unlock extras, including (apparently) other challenges. PETA members may object to the bashing of bunnies - even evil bunnies - but most other gamers will love this release.

Move your left and right analog sticks back and forth as fast as you can. THERE - you've just enjoyed all you're going to enjoy of Raving Rabbids on PS2.
This game stinks. All it is is a bunch of mini-games, there is no good story, there are no lands to visit, no choices to make. Not to mention, the graphics leave much to be desired. I've played every Rayman game and, up until playing Ravving Rabids, I have loved every single one. I was eagerly awaiting the release of this game. Wow, what a disappointment it is!
It is obvious that this game is really meant for the new Wii system. However, given that Ubisoft released it for other platforms, I figured they would modify the game so it would at least be fun on other platforms. Probably the only mod that Ubisoft made for PS2 was to add instruction screens that tell you which way to wiggle your sticks. If I needed practice in finger dexterity I would have taken up piano.
I think the raving rabbids must have taken over Ubisoft because
