Like most people did when this game was announced, I salivated for months waiting for the next "Oblivion Killer". So, when I initially played this game and heard the laughable dialog, voice acting and saw the less than smooth framerate, I immediatly dismissed this game as a loss.
However after letting it sit on the shelf for months and coming back to it to further explore this game, I gotta say, It is pretty good. The lack of polish in this game makes it unworthy of paying a full price for it, but if you see it for half price or below and spend a couple hours with it you should start to appreciate the work that went into it.
I popped the game in, in an attempt to verify if I wanted to trade it in and ended up playing it all day and then being anxious to get back to it the next day. this lacks the attention to detail of Oblivion, but it has it's own charms. While the dialog is laughable (tis, thou, mayhaps) it is impressive that there is so much much of it. It seems that everyone you

This is one of the worst games I have ever played. The game is broken to the point that I could not get past the first level, the graphics suck, and it feels like the game works against you to the point that it becomes tourture. If I had the money I would buy all of the games and bury them it the desert. I spent $60 on it and it is now a drink coster. I write this review in the hopes that somebody would read this and not buy it. Iwill would not wish this game on my worst enemy.

When I finished playing the rpg game called Oblivion, I decided to sell Oblivion (a decision I came to regret) so I can make time for this game, Two Worlds for the XBOX 360. Its marketing department gave Two Worlds really good hype and made it sound as if it was going to be equally good or even better than Oblivion. The sad fact is that Two Worlds is basically a broken game.
Though it is open world and the map is much larger than any rpg currently available for the 360 console, the game has tons of pop up visuals, animation hiccups, framerate issues, and glitches that will cause your character to get stuck to invisable objects. The sound effect, and voice acting have a timing issue, some sound effect come with a delay, other times voice acting from the characters start too early. The quest system is broken down as well. The animation hiccups and constant loading are very annoying and detract from the fantasy.
A new patch was recently released that was supposed to fix a lot of the glitches

I rented this because of the comparison to Oblivion on the back. Now I want to the guy who wrote that deceitful review and find out how much he was paid for it.
I returned it the very next morning. I'd put maybe fifteen minutes into it the night before, and ejected it in disgust.
This game pretends to have character customization. It'll let you shorten or lengthen your character's arms and legs, and give him muscles. That's about it. Oh, you can change hair color. There are a couple styles, but they all pretty much look alike. And that's it.
I thought maybe it would redeem itself--after all, Fable could be rather linear but it was great--but when I watched the first cutscene I groaned. It was terrible. I could tell someone spent all of five minutes on it before shoving the product on the shelves in the hope of making a few bucks before gamers caught on. The characters looked wooden and the voice acting was the worst I've heard in years. The writing was almost as bad. Imagine characters

Two Worlds plays out with the recent trend of "class abandonment", yet keeps levels, skills and factions. It is a third-person RPG, one that does not involve turns. It's a medieval fantasy-based RPG, and I mean that in the classic sense, because your actions bear some aesthetic value to the world after some time. This is not nearly as interesting as it sounds. I'll list the pros, then the cons.
Pros:
-Intuitive character building. This, for all the blandness of it, is set up somewhat nicely. At first the skill levels are deceptive, but you quickly learn that the circles are just stages of development.
-Culturally savvy. While the dialog isn't technically "old" English at all, it's one of a few attributes of the world that loyally comes across as (European) medieval. Most other fantasy games, gunpowder or not, actually reflect a late medieval / early Renaissance society.
Cons:
-They should have skipped the voice-acting. yet again we have an RPG saddled with it, which often doesn't

If you like Oblivion you will hate this game. Crappy graphics, the most ridiculous dialogue ever and bad game play. I have never been this disappointed in a video game purchase. I really wanted this to be a good RPG. It is a joke in the office we keep passing it to new people... no one wants it or could stand to play it for more than an hour. We are on victim number five.

This game has gotten an unfairly bad rap from many of the customer reviewers. I've had a lot of fun with it, and it's been a relatively addictive game with very many hours of play. Sure it has several flaws, but overall it's been very enjoyable. I was surprised to see that people had problem with the graphics (which are mostly fine, and sometimes spectacular), the sound (AOK), info displays, and other things I had no problem with. There were two things that frustrated me: (1) the frequent loading stall-outs from the game & system which often occurred at less than ideal moments, and (2) the necessity to shuttle back and forth to merchants to sell loot collected from combat victims. But those flaws are minor compared to the pleasure in exploring the game's vast world and encountering its various creatures and places. I think people are spoiled by near-perfect games such as Resident Evil 4 and Half-Life 2, but those are FPS games, and this is a traditional RPG. If you're an RPG fan
