I've always used the Bose headphones and decided to switch to the panasonic RP-HTX7 based on all the reviews I read on [...]& J&R. Very glad I did. Pretty comparable to the bose on-ears for about 1/5 the price. Sound is perfect, the design is stylishly retro and they make perfect ear-muffs in cold weather. Not to mention they were way cheaper on J&R at [$] than everywhere I've checked.

This was a great buy. I was looking for a stylish set of retro, over the ear headphones when I came across these. I saw them advertised on other sites for at least $10 more. [...]Very pleased, lots of compliments.

At first I personally had a problem with the sound, but after I turned the treble booster EQ on my ipod on the sound was great again. It isn't a noise canceling headphone, but it does muffle the noise pretty well. The sound quality is about the same as the headphones that I used to use, but these look much cooler and don't hurt my ears like the others ones did. I haven't had them for very long yet, so I have to see how durable they are, though they look like they can last for awhile.
