I have an old DNS 323 that has worked great for me for years. This seemed like the logical upgrade path. Funplug is a wonderful free addition. Simple to setup and understand. Reliable. Quiet.<br ><br >J&amp;R is a great company to order from!

Got this for $179.99 at Fry's but Best Buy will price-match. However, it does support 3TB &amp; larger hard drives.

The product description says &quot;4TB storage capacity<br />Provides ample storage space for your music, movies and other files in two 2TB bays. &quot; NOT TRUE, this does not include any hard drives, this is for the storage cabinet only.

I purchased this to replace my Maxtor Axis NAS. I was amased at the ease of setup. using this is just as easy as if you were using a flash drive attached to your computer and when attached to your wireless router you can access it from anywhere. there isonly one thing i do wish it had, the ability to password protect individual folders on the drive would be nice but not a deal breaker theres plenty of software out there for this. thebiggest advantage is the RAID with Auto Rebild function so when a drive does go bad you simply replace it and it rebuilds itself . deffinatly worth the money i will buy another

I use this device to share movies, music, and photos on my home network. The DNS-325 is very functional and is reasonably priced. I especially wanted a NAS where I could add my own drives. Internet access to your files via FTP is possible but not as easy a setup as some other NAS devices. Do fully understand RAID and your true need for drive fail-over before selecting a RAID config. I chose a standard 2-2TB drive config for max on-network storage and backup to a set of USB drives. All in all it is a good value and solid performer. I would buy again.

Everywhere else online, this same item clearly has &quot;HDD NOT INCLUDED&quot; in the description. Here, it says 4TB, but guess what... no HDDs are included here either. That changes it from a great offer to a not-worth-it deal. Will return product.
